Robert Lewis Partin, Jr.
Mr. Robert Lewis Partin, Jr, age 70, of Hillsboro, TN passed away on
August 22, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. No
services are planned.
Bob was born in Franklin County, TN, the son of the late Robert Lewis
Partin, Sr. and Ethel Thurman Partin. He was a graduate of Coffee County
Central High School, Georgia Institute of Technology and University of
Tennessee Space Institute. He was a scientist and owned Partin
Scientific, a consulting company. He loved cats and dogs, Star Trek,
flying planes, and having spirited debates on religion and politics with
anyone and everyone.
Bob is survived by one son, Richard H. Partin and wife, Jia Wei, of Ft.
Myers, FL; two daughters, Tracey J. Partin of Orlando, FL and Melissa J.
Partin and husband, Samuel Meder, of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren,
Liam Meder, Gavin, Henry and Riley Partin; one sister, Judy Partin (Peter
Pryfogle); and his best friend for life, Deborah Leaper, whom he cared
for for the past eight years.

8/29/18 — Danny Lee Phipps
Danny Lee Phipps of Manchester passed this life on Monday, August 27, 2018 at his residence at the age of 49 years. Graveside Services are scheduled for 10 AM on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Shady Grove Cemetery.
A native of Tullahoma, he was the son of the late Virgil and Inez Jones Phipps. He enjoyed fishing, hunting for Ginseng, flower gardening, camping, riding motorcycles, antique shopping and being with this family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse Phipps and Hubert Phipps and one sister, Betty Wade.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Phipps of Manchester; son, Joshua Lee Phipps of Manchester; brother, John Phipps of Manchester; sister, Loretta Bohanan and husband William of Manchester and one granddaughter, Jasmine Phipps.

8/29/18–Melvin Lynn Keith
Graveside services for Mr. Melvin Lynn Keith, age 69, of Manchester, will
be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Forest Mill
Cemetery. Mr. Keith passed away on Sunday, August 26 at Unity Medical
Center in Manchester.
Melvin was born in Maryville, Missouri. He served his country for 32
years in the United States Army and was a member of New Hope Baptist
Church. Melvin was employed in shipping at M-Tek. He enjoyed playing on
computers and going to the flea market.
In addition to his parents, Melvin was also preceded in death by one
brother, Ronnie Keith. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Keith;
two sons, Glenn and Bob Jones; one brother, Lester Keith; two sisters,
Anita Keith and Debbie Kiser; one grandchild, Nicole Jones; and one
niece, Kim Robinson.

8/28/18–Charles Elmer Wells
Funeral services for Mr. Charles Elmer Wells, age 86 of Manchester will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Hillsboro Methodist Church with Bro. Kent Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, August 27, 2018, and from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Manchester Funeral Home. Mr. Wells passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN.
Mr. Wells was born in Coffee County, TN to the late A.D. and Lela Wells. After attending business school, he began his career in 1951 at Manchester Moto Company as a bookkeeper. He continued to work in the automobile industry for David Gold Chevrolet. He was elected Coffee County Clerk in 1962. He served for 8 terms totaling 32 years and retired in 1994. During retirement he and his wife Ann enjoyed traveling. He raised registered Black Angus cattle for many years. They cherished their family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Charles was a member of Hillsboro Methodist Church. He served/chaired on many committees and boards. He loved his church family.
In addition to his parents, Charles is also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Dianna Lynn Wells; brother, Raymond Wells; sister, Inez Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Nancy Ann Willis Wells; son, Jeff (Debbie) Wells of Knoxville; daughter, Jennifer (Richie) Clark of Hillsboro; grandchildren Matthew (Jordan) Wells, Kendal (Jamie) Wells, Ramsey Clark, Savannah Clark, Amber (Cory) Gray, Dustin (Alicean) Clark; great-grandchildren, Davis, Hank, and Jack Wells, Aspen, Shyla, and River Gray, and Olivia Clark; sisters, Imogene Allison, Ruth Ann Callahan; brothers, Cloys, Howard, and Michael Wells; several devoted nieces and nephews.

8/28/18–Marcus Dallas Brown Jr.
Mr. Marcus Dallas Brown Jr., 63, passed away Saturday August
25, 2018 unexpectedly at his home in Manchester, Tennessee. He was born in
Muncie, Indiana on March 6, 1955 to Marcus Dallas Brown Sr. and Hope Lewis
Brown who preceded him in death.
He attended the Hillcrest Baptist Church, Manchester Senior Citizens and
was a regular at the Rec Center.
He is survived by his sister and her husband, Madeliene and Lawrence
Phillips; nieces, Elishia Phillips (Jeremiah) Robinson and Jessica Phillips
(James Cyree); great neices and nephews, Blake and Lakelyn Phillips, Leila
Leverett, Emiree Clark, Braxson Cyree, Jordan and Aubrie Robinson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Central Funeral Home
Chapel with burial to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery in McMinnville.

Lillie D. Perry
Lillie D Perry of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, August 24, 2018 at
her residence at the age of 70 years. A Celebration of Life service will be
scheduled at a later time.
A native of Winchester, she was the daughter of the late James and May
Lindley Sons. She loved music and enjoyed singing. She also enjoyed
reading, especially her Bible.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Randell Perry; son, Christopher Jacobs; brothers, Jimmy, Richard, Freddy
and Kenneth Sons and sisters, Lula Haddon, Maryann Mitchell and Alice
Moorehead.
Mrs. Perry is survived by daughter, Christy Jones of Tullahoma; sister,
Carolyn Brazil of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Joshua and Hannah Jones and
great grandchildren, Briar Jones and Canaan Trammell.

8/26/18 — Sarah C. Buntley
Sarah C Buntley, age 87, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at NHC of
Tullahoma. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, August 26,
2018 at Rosebank Cemetery in Flat Creek.
Mrs. Buntley, a native of Moore County, was the daughter of the late Add
and Sonia Howard Chapman. She was a member of the New Herman Church of
Christ and enjoyed gardening and being with her pet poodles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Philip Buntley.
Mrs. Buntley is survived by one daughter, Tina Cardwell and her husband,
Kenneth of Tullahoma; two grandsons, Mark Cardwell and his wife, Wendy of
Tullahoma and David Cardwell of Fayetteville and three grandchildren,
Nolan, Allie and Hannah Cardwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in her honor
to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Mr. Roy Richard Campbell, 68, passed away, Thursday, August
23, 2018 at his home in Hillsboro, Tennessee. He was born in Bryson
City, North Carolina on February 20, 1950 to William R. Campbell and
Gloria Smith Campbell who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by
his wife, Rosemary Woody Campbell; brother, Charlie Campbell.
He was a communications employee of Future Research Corporation at AEDC.
His hobbies where old telephones, guns, knives and old tractors.
He is survived by his son, Bradley Leo Campbell; caregivers and friends,
Candy Sullivan and Pat & Tammy Williams; brothers, Marlin and Mike
Campbell of North Carolina; sisters, Carolyn (Earl) Ledford, Karen
Carpenter and Ethel Campbell of North Carolina; grandchildren, Shane,
Clay and Carly Campbell; great grandchild, Braylee; adopted
grandchildren, Kim and Brian Murphy, Mandy and Robbie McCart, Beth
Sullivan, Steven Anderson, Braden and Kailynn LaCook; host of nieces and

8/27/18 — Darlyn Mae Folmar
DARLYN MAE FOLMAR, age 78, of Tullahoma, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville following an extended illness. Ms. Folmar was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to the late Oscar Evans and Jennie Geir Evans. She was a member of Life Change Church in Tullahoma. Ms. Folmar was last employed at Sally’s Beauty Supplies before her retirement. She was an active member of the Coffee County Senior Citizens and the Ladies Red Hat Society. She was fun loving and will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. She loved to tell everyone that she was “forever 29”.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Edward A. Kulik. She is survived by her son, Anthony S. Esposito, Jr. of Oxford, Ga., daughters; April Kulik of Tullahoma and Allison J. Maggs of Blaine, Minn. Grandchildren; Adrienne Freeman, Jessica L. Esposito and Miranda R. Esposito both of Douglassville, Penn., Madeline Ott of Williamsport, Penn., and 3-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Monday, August 27, 2018, at the Life Change Church in Tullahoma with Pastor Christian Watts, officiating.

Funeral services for Anna Bell “Doodle” Townsend, age 86, of Manchester, will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Ray Marcrom officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Mrs. Townsend passed away on August 21, 2018 at McArthur Manor.
Anna Bell was born on April 1, 1932 in Coffee County to the late John and Louise Richardson. Anna and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Manchester. For 23 years she owned a café at the livestock barn. Anna also enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, and spending time with family. Mrs. Townsend was a devoted and loving wife.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Horace Townsend; one brother Donald Lee Richardson. Survived by her sister Stella (Auburn Earl) McWhorter; nieces Valeria (Richard) Uselton, JoAnn (John) Barker, Candace McPherson; nephews Brent Richardson, Barry McWhorter, Paul McWhorter; Several great nieces and nephews, Ashton (Adam) Barnett, Dylan Sisk, Ryan (Hope) Barker, Margaret (Mark) Bell, Kenny (Nicole) McWhorter; Several great – great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Coffee County Board of Education for the Coffee County Middle School Athletic facility building fund.
