9/24/18 — Philamenia G. Chaffin

Philamenia G Chaffin of Manchester, passed this life on Friday, September
21, 2018 at her residence at the age of 68. Memorial Services are scheduled
for Monday, September 24, 2018 at 5 PM at the Fredonia Church of Christ in
Manchester.

A native of Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Horace Ward and
Audrey Miller Fly. She was a fun-loving person who had many friends and
enjoyed being with people.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry
Chaffin.

Mrs. Chaffin is survived by son, Douglas “Ron Jon” Reed and his wife,
Tammy
of Tullahoma; daughter, Tracy Mayo and her husband, Doug of Bloomington,
IN; brothers, Keith “Navaho” Fly of Grundy County and Joe Hickerson of
Manchester; sister, Teresa Hickerson Farless and her husband, Aaron of
Manchester and five grandchildren.

9/28/18 — Peter K. Forras

Funeral services for Mr. Peter K. Forras will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Tullahoma First Assembly of God.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel.
Pete of Manchester, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 21, 2018.  He is preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly.  He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Nancy L. Forras; four children, Sandy (Brent), Debbie (Mark), Pete (Tina), and Angela (Mark); proud grandfather of six grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Michael, Cameron, Carina, and Cassie; five great-grandchildren, Caden, Mason, Penny, Mia, and August.  Pete was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Pete will be fondly remembered by his many friends for both his humor and many accomplishments.  He was an expert in ammunitions and weapons development.

9/25/18 — Will P. Martin

Will P. Martin 89, of Shelbyville passed Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare – Shelbyville. He was a native of Giles County, Pulaski, Tennessee, son of the late Thomas and Bessie Martin.

He graduated from Bridgeford High in 1948 and entered Fisk University in the fall of the same year. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Fisk University, Masters Degree from Tennessee State University and his EDL from Middle Tennessee State University.

He was a teacher, Girls Basketball Coach and Head Football Coach . He accepted the position and worked 42 years. His Girls Basketball Team was State Champions in 1965.

He served as Principal, Title 1 Supervisor and Supervisor of Attendance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, William E. Martin; sister, Patty Martin and brother, Flournoy Martin.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife of 68 years Reva Martin; son, Thomas Ray; sister, Annie Louise Drake and three grandchildren.

Visitation Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:00 am Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Shelbyville, TN with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Shelbyville, TN with Pastor Corey Davis officiating and Dr. Riggins R. Earl, Jr as Eulogist.

Interment Everbright Cemetery in Giles County.

9/23/18–Barbara Jane Finchum

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Jane Finchum, age 53 of Beechgrove, TN will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Kidder officiating. Burial will follow in Fredonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Sunday, September 23, at the funeral home. Mrs. Finchum passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at her residence.

Barbara was born in Rutland, Vermont to the late Robert and Barbara Gray. She loved crafting, quilting, and painting. Barbara was a very outgoing person and never met a stranger. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is also preceded in death by one brother, Rob Gray. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Kenny; one son, Justin (Jennifer) Finchum; three brothers, Jeff (Lorraine), Joe, and Fred (Tammy) Gray; two sisters, Mary Gray (David) Gillespie and Beth (Tony Mullins) Gray; two grandchildren, Xander Finchum and Kalie Bowles; many nieces and nephews.

9/21/18–Neta E. Blake

Neta E. Blake of Tullahoma, passed this life on Thursday, September 20,
2018 at Tennova Harton Hospital at the age of 74. No services are scheduled.

A native of Pulaski, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Grady and
Frances Hazelwood. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, reading,
cooking, sewing, knitting and working puzzles.

Mrs. Blake is survived by her husband; William Blake of Tullahoma, son;
Mark Blake of Tullahoma and one granddaughter; Cathrine Blake of Tullahoma.

9/20/19–Gerald Wayne Kelnhofer

Gerald Wayne Kelnhofer of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday,
September 19, 2018 at The Waters of Winchester at the age of 75. No
services are scheduled.

A native of Coffee County, he was the son of the late Harold R. and Mildred
Amos Kelnhofer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing crafts and going to
flea markets.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, James
Kelnhofer and sister, Anna Elise Kelnhofer.

Mr. Kelnhofer is survived by sons, Brian Kelnhofer and his wife, Jennifer
of Gillett, Arkansas and Jerry Kelnhofer and his wife, Tonya of Redfield,
Arkansas; brothers, Phillip Kelnhofer of Estill Springs and Joe Kelnhofer
and his wife, Diane of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; sister, Mary Joyce Cyree and
her husband, Jimmy of Decherd and two grandchildren.

Funeral service for Ms. Betty Ann Wilson, age 71, of Sparta, TN, will be

9/24/18 — Penny Lea Cox

Penny Lea Cox of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, September 17, 2018
at her residence at the age of 77. Funeral services are scheduled for
Monday, September 24, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

A native of Natchitoches, LA, she was the daughter of the late Gustave L
and Lea Sompayrac Broussard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by brother, Gus O Broussard.

Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband, George Cox of Tullahoma; sons, Glenn
Robert Cox and his wife, Connie of Fayetteville, Kevin O Cox of Estill
Springs, Brian G Cox and his wife, Roseanna of Madison, AL and Jason B Cox
and his wife, Andrea of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Daisy Evans and her
husband, Max of Natchitoches, LA and Mary Broussard of Natchitoches, LA;
eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

9/20/18 — Virgil Ray Trussell

Mr. Virgil Ray Trussell, 71, passed away,
Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Manchester, Tennessee. He was born in
Winchester, Tennessee on October 6, 1946 to Aaron Trussell and Mary Ellen
Johnson Trussell who preceded him in death.

He was retired from Batesville Casket Company.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Hodge Trussell; sons, Wayne and Joey
Trussell of Ohio; daughter, Patricia (Kenneth) Herrin, Tullahoma;
step-daughters, Regena Fults, Tullahoma and Melissa (Steven) Majors,
Hillsboro; brother, Larry (Barbara) Trussell, Estill Springs;
grandchildren, Robbie Shockley, Chris, Tiffany, C.J. and Victoria Majors,
A.J. and Heather Herrin, Ashley, Lauren, Cory, Steven, Brian, Josh, Zachary
and Veronica Trussell; great-grandchildren, Preston, Atticus, Madelyn,
Crisux, Conner, Hazel and Jaxtyn; nephews, Jimmy, Jason, Joey and Jeff.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Central Funeral Home
Chapel with Minister Ronnie Trussell officiating with burial to follow in
