Michele L. Harrison
Michele L Harrison of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday, September
29, 2018 at his residence at the age of 75. Memorial Services will be
scheduled at a later date.
A native of Norwood, MA, he was the son of the late Daniel Edward Harrison
and the late Evelyn Lisa Hanscom Harrison. He was a U S Navy veteran and
enjoyed working in his yard planting flowers, fishing, reading and
listening to gospel music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Daniel
Harrison.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Harrison of Tullahoma; daughter, Misty
Mitchell and her husband, Anthony of Shelbyville and three grandchildren,
Brianna and Zachary Tucker and Jacob Mitchell.

Richard Michael Alley
Richard Michael Alley of Manchester, passed this life on Saturday,
September 29, 2018 at Unity Medical Center at the age of 59. Memorial
Services will be scheduled at a later date.
A native of Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Edward Carlye and
Ruth Beatrice Lorch Alley. He was a U S Army veteran and enjoyed being
with his family, fishing and building things.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Robert Alley;
daughter, Bonnie Tilly; brothers, William and Norman Alley and sister,
Carolyn Alley.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen Merryman Alley of Manchester; sons,
Kevin Acton of Maryland and Christopher Alley of Manchester; daughters,
Jennifer Richardson of Manchester and Christina Auble of Maryland;
brothers, Robert Alley of Maryland and Edward Alley and his wife, Beatrice
of Pennsylvania and sixteen grandchildren.

10/1/18 — Kenneth W. Magouirk
Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth W. Magouirk will be conducted at 2:00 PM
on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Interment will
follow in Gnat Hill cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM
until 9:00 PM on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Coffee County Funeral
Chapel.
Kenneth was born on December 20th, 1938 and passed on Thursday September
27,2018 at the age of 79. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 38 years
Shirley Jacobs Magouirk, Children; Jeffery Magouirk (Lori), step daughter
Carol Renee Sissom, Step son Keith E. Trail(Denise). Grandchildren; Casey
Jacobs (fiancé Shane Rhoton), Chassity Koffas, Mindy Magouirk, Derek Sissom
(Marah), Trace Magouirk, Ashleigh Trail Becker. 8 Great- Grandchildren. A
brother JW Magouirk (Dorothy), one sister Mary Frances Magouirk Foster, and
several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father; James
William Magouirk, his mother; Mary Etta Watley Magouirk, and one brother;
Arthur R. “Joey” Magouirk. The family would like to give a special thanks
to Mary Ann Trail, Bobbie Freeze, Melody Burnett, Marah Sissom, Avalon
Hospice and staff, Mila Tucker Davis his niece who is a director with
hospice, McArthur Manor all the nurses and staff.
Mr. Magouirk enjoyed fishing, farming, playing the guitar, and cooking. He
had a secret dill pickle recipe he only shared with his family. Kenneth was
a loving husband who cared deeply for his family and would help anyone he
could. He worked at Carrier Corp. for 25 years, after retiring he farmed
for 24 years.

10/3/18–Dr. Charles L. Rogers
Funeral services for Dr. Charles L. Rogers, age 90, of Manchester, TN,
will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Manchester
Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in
Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation with
the family will be from 1:00 PM until time of service on Wednesday at the
funeral home. Dr. Rogers passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at
Bailey Manor in Manchester.
Charles was born in Albertville, AL, the son of the late Homer L. Rogers
and Mabel Bruce Rogers. He graduated from University of Tennessee Dental
College in 1951 and received induction into the Psi Omega Fraternity.
Dr. Rogers practiced dentistry in Manchester, TN from 1951 until 2009.
During that time, he served as alderman, city school board member,
founder and chairman of Manchester Industrial Board, Manchester Rotary
Club past president, recipient of two Paul Harris Fellow awards and
received Rotarian of the Year in 2008. He was the director of the
Manchester Chamber of Commerce from 2001-03, having received the Wayne
Bramblett Award. Charles was a member of the Masonic Lodge, 32 Degree
Mason, and Shriners.
In his professional dental career of 58 years, Dr. Rogers was a board
member of the Tennessee Board of Dentistry from 1995-2004, delegate for
the American Dental Association from 1984-1990, and trustee for the
University of Tennessee College of Dentistry Alumni Association from
1994-2003. He was awarded as a Fellow from the American College of
Dentistry in October 1983. He was very active in the Tennessee Dental
Association, serving on numerous committees, and holding many chair
positions, including President. He also served as dentist for Highland
Rim School for Girls in Tullahoma, TN from 1954-1983.
Charles was a retired Colonel in the United States Air Force, having
served actively during the Korean Conflict in 1952-1954, and Active
Reserve from 1954-1987.
Dr. Rogers is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Lucille
Earls Rogers; three sons, Mike (Brenda) Rogers of Huntsville, AL, Mark
(Thelma) Rogers of Manchester, TN, and John (Melissa) Rogers of Smyrna,
TN; grandchildren, Tracey, Allen, Baron (Kara), Brian (Erica), Patrick,
and Gabriella Rogers; great grandchildren, Arianna Claire, Lucille
Elizabeth, Michael Tristan, Wyatt Allen, Henry Charles and Avery
Elizabeth Rogers.

10/1/18–Madhukanta Shukla
Shukla, Madhukanta, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Thursday,
September 27th, 2018 at Life Care Center at the age of 92. Mrs. Shukla
was born in India to the late Chunilal and Anandi Dwivedi Dave. In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Rasiklal Shukla. Mrs. Shukla is survived by her children, Dr. Sandip
Shukla and his wife Kitty of Tullahoma, Dr. Vikram Shukla and his wife
Marilou of Gastonia, North Carolina and Bakula Sheth of Louisville,
Kentucky; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation
for Mrs. Shukla will be held on Monday October 1st, 2018 at Kilgore
Funeral Home from 4:00-6:00pm. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers,

9/30/18–Harville, Laura J. Hudson
Harville, Laura J. Hudson, of Tullahoma, passed this life on
Thursday, September 27th, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare Harton at the age of
70. Mrs. Harville was born in Oxford, Mississippi to the late John and
Edna Barr Hudson. In her earlier life, Laura loved cake baking and
decorating, home décor and crafts. She had worked at AEDC as a property
analyst until 2003 and was a member of Rutledge Falls Baptist Church for
many years. In earlier years, she also played piano both at home and in
churches. Laura loved dressing up in fancy clothes while she was still
able to get around. Her health had been declining in latter years, but
she never gave up. She loved daytime TV as well as home decorating. Laura
will be missed by all who knew her, but most of all by her husband.

husband, Ronnie Harville of Tullahoma; children, Tina (John) Taylor, John
N. Sons and Jon D. Sons; grandchildren, Faith Walter and Hope Taylor;
step-children, Dane (Brandi) Harville and Ronda Harville; and
step-grandchildren, Rayven Scales, Jacori Scales, Kaylani Scales, Devin
Harville, Braxton Cox, Britlee Nisbett and Baylor Nisbett. Visitation
will be held on Saturday, September 29th, 2018 at Kilgore Funeral Home
from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September
30th, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dean

9/29/18 — Ruth Damron
Damron, Ruth, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, September
26th, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare-Harton at the age of 85. Mrs. Damron was
born in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Dennie and Katie Ferrell Vaughn.
During her life she worked at A.E.D.C. as a security specialist and was a
member of Highland Baptist Church. Mrs. Damron was also a member of the
Motlow Ladies Philanthropic Society. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Vaughn; and one granddaughter,
Sammie Jo Duke. Mrs. Damron is survived by her husband, Joe Damron of
Tullahoma; four daughters, Patty Moore and her husband Shannon of
Tullahoma, Karen Duke and her husband Mark of Manchester, Susan Hunt and
her husband Jay of Carpentersville, Illinois, and Carol Ann Montgomery
and her husband Gary of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Chris Moore, Chad
Moore, Amanda Duke, Kaitlyn Rees and Kellan Rees; and
great-grandchildren, Paisley McConnell and Ryker Johnson. Visitation for
Mrs. Damron will be held on Friday, September 28th, 2018 at Kilgore

9/28/18–Linda Davis Guess
Linda Davis Guess formerly of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday,
September 23, 2018 at her residence at the age of 55. Funeral Services are
scheduled for 2 PM Friday, September 28, 2018 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation with the
family will begin at 12 Noon.
A native of Tullahoma, she was the daughter of the late James H. Davis and
the late Sandra Bailey Huddleston. In addition to her mother and father,
she was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Ella Gibson Davis;
brothers, Maurice, Carlos and Larry Davis; sister, Wanda Kay Davis and step
sister, Cheryl Freeman and son, Chad Guess.
Mrs. Guess enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren,
watching soap operas, reading and doing word search puzzles.
She is survived by daughter, Amber Conn (fiancé, Garry Kelso) of Tullahoma;
step son, Chad Conn (Devin); brothers, Earl Davis (Brooxie), Terry Davis
(Donna), Beau Davis (Susan) and Glenn Pennington (Kristin); sisters, Sue
Stewart (Ollie), Delisa Turner (Johnny) and Judy Vaughn; step sister, Cathy
Zorn; step mother, Stella Davis; four special grandchildren, Austin Conn,
Miguel Sanders, Nevaeh Williams and Kaleb Kelso and several nieces and
nephews.

9/27/18 — Eleanor Theresa Lewis
ELEANOR THERESA LEWIS, age 74, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, at her residence following an extended illness. Theresa was born on December 23, 1943, in Tullahoma, Tenn., to Mary Crunk Travis and the late Henry Travis. Theresa was disabled. She is a member of the Marble Plains Baptist Church. Ms. Lewis enjoyed going to Church. She also enjoyed painting and doing crafts. She was known by all who knew her how she loved to sing and dance around, she was a big fan of Patsy Cline and knew almost all of her songs.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Jack B. Lewis and Maternal grandparents, Clyde and Edna Crunk. She is survived by her mother, Mary Tucker of Tullahoma, several cousins and many friends at New Life in Winchester.
Visitation for Theresa will be held from 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 27, 2018, until Service time at 11:00, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Ray Gardner officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Jack.

Funeral services for Mr. David Brittingham, age 83, of Manchester will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Dale Grosch officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at the funeral home. Mr. Brittingham passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday, September 23, 2018.
David was born in Xenia, OH to the late Alva Lee and Mary Brittingham. He was a custodian for Coffee County Schools for many years. He loved sports, especially football and baseball. David loved socializing, spending time with his friends, and playing the guitar.
In addition to his parents, David is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy Brittingham; one daughter, Tammy Brittingham; five brothers; two sisters. He is survived by one son, David (Junko) Brittingham; two daughters, Rhonda (Levoy) Hale and Darlene (Leo Brennan) Long; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
