10/27/18 — Charles M. Garvin
Charles GarvinCharles M. Garvin of Manchester, passed this life on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Manchester Health Care Center at the age of 72 years. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday. Burial will be held Monday, October 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
A native of Rutherford County, Blackman Community, he was the son of the late John and Dovie Ross Garvin. Mr. Garvin retired from the United States Army, he was a Licensed Auctioneer, enjoyed attending auctions and hunting for bargains, he also enjoyed working in his yard and raising blackberries. Mr. Garvin attended Hillcrest Baptist Church in Manchester.
He is survived by his wife, Estell of Manchester; sons, Charles and David Garvin both of Manchester; brothers, Earl Garvin and Ronnie Garvin of LaVergne, TN. and Jerry Garvin and wife Rhonda of Smyrna, TN.; sisters, Juanita Kennedy and Judy Odom both of Smyrna; grandchildren, Johnathon Garvin and his wife Jessica of Manchester and Christopher Garvin of Manchester and one great grandchild, Jailynn Garvin.

10/28/18 — Patrick Moore
Patrick Moore passed this life on October 23, 2018. He was born December 14, 1951 in Mendota Illinois to Ambrose and Charlotte Moore. Patrick graduated from Shabbona High School and attended Kishwaukee College. He moved to Tennessee in 1986 and worked a variety of jobs including electronics, computer repair, and auto sales. His hobbies included playing the piano and the drums (being a member of the Jackson Roundhouse Band and the Bottom Line Band), performing magic tricks and card tricks, and most especially making people laugh. Patrick most recently was attending River of Life Church.
Survivors include one sister Erin (Wayne) Smith of Tullahoma, three brothers: Michael (Jeri) of Woodridge, IL, Kevin (Jodi) of Mendota, IL, and Timothy of Bloomfield, CT. “Uncle Pat” is also survived by his nieces and nephews Christopher, Shanon, Katie, Julie, Jessie, Jake, Abby, Katelyn, and a great niece Ceiva. Lastly, Patrick is survived by his very very dear friend Kristy, a true angel that was sent to stand with him in good times and in bad even up until his last night on this earth.
A celebration of Life will be held at Rock Creek Springs Venue, 211 Bandywood Lane, Tullahoma TN on Sunday, October 28 at 2:00 pm. In the event of rain, it will be moved to River of Life Church, 106 Spring Creek Road, Estill Springs TN. Memorials may be sent to Coffee County Humane Society and Tullahoma Animal Shelter.

Myrtice R. Stinson
Myrtice R. Stinson of Lynchburg, TN passed this life on Tuesday, October 23,
2018 at the Lynchburg Nursing Center at the age of 82. Memorial Services
will be scheduled at a later time.
A native of Madison County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo and
Vainie Davis Roberts. She was raised in the mountains of North Carolina
and never lost her love for the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening and going
to flea markets and yard sales. Most of all, she loved her Lord.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters,
Murphy Roberts and Myrtle Roberts.
Mrs. Stinson is survived by her husband of 62 years, Howard Stinson of
Lynchburg; son, Chris Stinson and his wife, Trina of Lynchburg and two
grandchildren, Aaron and Jacob.

10/28/18 — Wayne L. Knight
Wayne L. Knight of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville at the age of 71 years. Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Concord Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 5 to 8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
A native of the Coffee County, he was the son of the late Virgil Lee and Martha Muse Knight. He was an electrical operator at AEDC., he was a US Army Veteran. Wayne loved the outdoors, fishing, gardening, watching birds and squirrels. He was an active member of AA Serenity House.
Mr. Knight is survived by his son, Josh Knight and his wife Diana of Tullahoma; daughter, Jill Kimzey and her husband Willie of Lynchburg; brother, Gary Rogers of Lynchburg; grandchildren; Dylan Knight of Tullahoma, Casey Kimzey, Courtney Kimzey and Katie Kimzey all of Lynchburg and lifelong best friend, Ray Artman and his wife Maybelle of Tullahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in his honor to Serenity House of Tullahoma or Wounded Warrior Project.

11/3/18 — Theodore Chapin (Bud) Austin
Theodore Chapin (Bud) Austin, age 92 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from
this world on October 22, 2018. Memorial Services will be held Saturday,
November 3, 2018 at 12 PM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
Visitation
with the family will be from 10 AM – 12 PM.
Mr. Austin is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret (Peg) Cully
Austin; his son, Steven(Charlotte) Austin; daughter, Andrea Austin
Kincannon; granddaughters, Natalie Austin (Preston) Sonnier, Leslie
Margaret Austin, April Marie Kincannon, Hannah Kincannon (Jon) Ball and
Jennifer Annette (Jenna) Smith and grandson, Benjamin James Smith. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Theodore and Winona Chapin Austin;
his sister, Nancy Austin Watts; beloved daughter, Catherine (Kit) Austin
Smith and son-in-law, Donnie L. Smith.
He served in the United States Navy in World War II and was stationed on
the Battleship, U. S. S. Chicago, which was present in Tokyo Harbor at the
time of surrender.
Returning home to Atlanta, Georgia at the end of the war, he enrolled in
Georgia Tech where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical
Engineering.
In 1951, he was employed by ARO, Inc. at AEDC as an Instrumentation
Specialist. After retiring from ARO he began doing income tax, first for H
& R Block and then for Farm Bureau.
As a Boy Scout in Atlanta, he earned the Eagle Scout Award. As an adult he
continued his interest in scouting by serving as Assistant Leader of Boy
Scout Troop 319 and in doing so assisted in training of both Boy and Girl
Scout Troops in camping skills, water and gun safety, hiking and rappelling.
He was recognized for these activities by the Elk River district in
receiving the Long Rifle Award.
Mr. Austin was active in many community activities. He was one of the
founders of the Tullahoma Community Playhouse, a co-founder and first
director of the Community Christmas Civic Choir and was very active in CAP
(Civil Air Patrol). He received the “Outstanding Young Man of 1960” award
from the Tullahoma Jaycees.
We wish to express our appreciation to the members of the Tullahoma
Emergency Medical Service and the Tullahoma Police Department for the kind
and courteous assistance in handling the sudden death of our greatly loved
Husband, Father and Grandfather.

10/29/18 — Robert Forrest Breezley
Breezley, Robert Forrest, age 73, of Estill Springs, passed this
life on Friday, October 19th, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center in
Nashville. He was born in Sacramento, California to the late James and
Clarice Briggs Breezley. During his life, Mr. Breezley worked as an
Underbody Lead Supervisor at General Motors and was a member of First
United Methodist Church in Tullahoma. He is survived by his wife, Rita
Breezley of Estill Springs; three children, Robert Breezley Jr. and his
wife Cat Dang of California and their son, Vander Breezley, Andrew Ansley
of Murfreesboro and Hannah Ansley of Winchester; and his sister, Betty
Warner of California. Visitation for Mr. Breezley will be held on Monday,
October 29th, 2018 at First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma from
4:00-5:00pm with a memorial service to immediately follow at 5:00pm with
Rev. Rickey Wade officiating. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, the

10/26/18 — Grover Gene Taylor
Mr. Grover Gene Taylor, 74, passed away, Tuesday
October 23, 2018 at his home. He was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee on
October 26, 1943 to Woodrow Wilson Taylor and Dixie Mae Allen Taylor who
preceded him in death along with his wife, Patricia Ann Dickerson Taylor.
He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, a member of the Coffee County
Rescue Squad. He was retired from the Coffee County Sheriffs Department
working as a Judical Commissioner.
He is survived by his sons, Danny (Hata) Taylor and Doug Taylor; sister,
Kay (Jerry) Clowers, Winchester, TN; brothers, Jerry Taylor and Rickey
(Michelle) Taylor; grandchildren, Ashley and Daryn Gadeken, Brandon Taylor,
Laurel Taylor and Olivia Taylor; great-grandson, Trenton Gadeken; several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the Central Funeral Home Chapel

William L. May
William L May of Manchester, passed this life on Friday, October 12, 2018
at his residence at the age of 74. No services are scheduled.
A native of Benton Harbor, MI, he was the son of the late Walter L and
Irene Proctor May. He enjoyed fishing, working in his yard and tinkering
with his van.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Larry May.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda May of Manchester; daughters, B J May of
Tampa, FL, Jessica English and her husband, Floyd of Manchester and Barbara
Brewer and her fiancé, Curtis Severino of Painsville, OH; brothers, Danny
May of Morrison and Richard May of Texas; sister, Marquita May of
Chiefland, FL and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

10/25/18 — Walter Douglas Robertson
Walter Douglas Robertson, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday,
October 21st, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare-Harton at the age of 89. Mr.
Robertson was born in Tullahoma to the late Caleb and Gertrude Hyde
Robertson. He served his country proudly in the National Guard and work
for many years as a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service.
Mr. Robertson was a member of Estill Springs Baptist Church and was a
former member of the Mail Carriers Union. In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Scott Robertson; one son, Phil
Robertson; six brothers, Rainford, Hubert, Paul, Jack, Bobby and Ralph
Robertson; and two sisters, Lillian Fanning and Louise Huskey. Mr.
Robertson is survived by his son, Scott Robertson and his wife Regina of
Tullahoma; daughter-in-law, Rita Storey of Tullahoma; two sisters, Gladys
Griffin and Joann Woodson; grandchildren, Chris Robertson, Matt
Robertson, Shannan Mallich, Amanda West, Leah Fly, Andrew Scott, Patty
Bartlett and Tracey Gilliland; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alexa,
Alyce, Carter, Jaden, Grace, Braxton, Aiden, Jackson, Kailey, Trenton and
Courtney. Visitation for Mr. Robertson will be held on Wednesday, October

10/27/18 — Effie Lee Boyd
Boyd, Effie Lee, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, October
5th, 2018 at Morning Pointe of Tullahoma at the age of 85. Mrs. Boyd was
born in Alamo, Georgia to the late John and Josie Thomas Watkins. She was
a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and went on to work as a
Tech File Librarian at Arnold Engineering Development Center. Mrs. Boyd
was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Manchester. She was
preceded in death by her father, John Watkins; her birth mother, Josie
Watkins; her mother, Josephine Watkins; and her husband, William
Cleveland “Bill” Boyd. Mrs. Boyd is survived by one daughter, Sheila
Brown and her husband Eugene of Estill Springs; two sons, David Boyd and
his wife Suzi of Manchester, and Danny Boyd and his wife Debra of
Tullahoma; three grandchildren, LeAnne Henry and her husband Boz, Will
Boyd, and Amanda Bone and her husband Jason; three great-grandchildren,
Josey, Emmaline and Cora; two brothers, John Watkins and his wife Dale
and James Watkins; and two sisters, Jo Ann Caldwell and Barbara Rubino
and her husband Frank. Visitation for Mrs. Boyd will be held on Saturday,
