11/10/18 — Charlotte Ann O’Kelley
Memorial services for Charlotte Ann O’Kelley, age 69, of Manchester, TN,
will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Manchester
Funeral Home with Bro. Benny Benjamin officiating. Visitation with the
family will be from 11:00 AM until time of service on Saturday at the
funeral home. Ms. O’Kelley passed away at Fort Walton Beach Medical
Center on November 3, 2018.
Charlotte was born in Norfolk, VA, the daughter of the late Preston and
Ethel Anderson. She was a legal administrator for a law firm and loved
dancing, reading, traveling, and karaoke.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was also preceded in death by her
husband, Phillip O’Kelley. She is survived by three sons, Jason (Helen)
Armstrong, Jamie Armstrong, and Deward (Mindy) O’Kelley; two daughters,
Beth (Robert) Scott and Shannon O’Kelley (Carson); one brother, Preston
Anderson; one sister, Brenda Cathey; one step-brother, Michael Robinson;
two step-sisters, Linda Roper and Debbie Cobb; half-sister, Christy
Anderson Payne; 16 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

11/6/18 — Virgil Malone “John” Owen
Funeral services for Mr. Virgil Malone “John” Owen, age 88 of Manchester, will be conducted on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mr. Owen passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Manchester Healthcare Center.
John was born in Bradyville, TN to the late Virgil Malone Owen, Sr. and Mamie Parker Owen. He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean War. Mr. Owen was a member of New Union Church of Christ and was very active at the Coffee County Senior Citizen Center. In former years, he was a precision die cutter for Skyline Manufacturing Tool & Die. He enjoyed woodworking, camping for summer vacations, and bluegrass music. John’s children remember always seeing his head under a car hood fixing something when they were growing up. John was a loving husband of 54 years, father, Pa and friend to the community.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Scott Owen; brothers, Tony Owen and Charles Owen; sister, Eva Owen Holt. Survived by his sons, Jerry Owen (Pam) of Bon Aqua, TN, Jimmy Owen (Cindy) of Winter Haven, FL; daughters, Judy Drummond (Johnny) of Acworth, GA, Joy Minor (Richard) of DeLand, FL; loving niece, Misty Scott Duggin; brother, Eddie Owen; sister, Janice Owen Lund; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; loving friend, Jean Bush.

11/9/18 — Melvin Edford Davis
MELVIN EDFORD DAVIS, age 57, of Wartrace, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Tennova Harton Health Care in Tullahoma, Tenn., following an extended illness. Mr. Davis was born in Nashville, Tenn., to the late Murate Edford Davis and Betty Long Davis on Sept. 1, 1961. He was a 1979, graduate of Tullahoma High School. Mr. Davis was employed for many years as a welder. He was employed at Stanley Tools in Shelbyville for approximately 14 years as a tool grinder. He was then employed by Directv and Charter Cable as an installer, before becoming disabled. His hobbies were playing poker and billards. Mr. Davis’ favorite sport was deer hunting. He was a loving and devoted brother and father.
He is survived by his sons; Jeremy Davis and wife, Stephanie of Estill Springs, Tenn., Joshua Davis of Alamogordo, New Mexico, sister, Terri Alford and husband, Davy of Wartrace, Tenn., a very special friend, Antonia Goodbuffalo and several cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday evening, November 9, 2018, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

11/4/18 — Sylvia Kaye Dunagin
SYLVIA KAYE DUNAGIN, age 76, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Life Care Center of Tullahoma, Tenn., following an extended Illness. Miss. Dunagin was born on October 31, 1941, to the late Percy Elford Dunagin, Sr., and Sara Holder Dunagin Beans in Charlotte, N.C. Miss. Dunagin was raised in Spartanburg, S.C. She was a member of the Decherd Seventh Day Adventist Church. Miss. Dunagin was an x-ray technician. She was employed at several different hospitals in different states before her retirement, including, Cleveland, Tenn., White Memorial Hospital in California, Illinois and Georgia. She enjoyed drawing, painting, artwork and craftwork. She loved cats.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marilyn Joyce Dunagin and Jayne M. Dunagin. She is survived by her brother, Percy “Sonny” Dunagin, Jr. and wife, Maria of Nevada. sisters; Carole St. Clair of Spartenburg, S.C. Gayle Dorfman and husband, Jay of Corona, Cal., Patricia “Patsy” Houghton of McDonald, Tenn., sister, Mary Simmons and husband, Wellington of Fla., step-sister, Barbara Camp and husband, Lucas of Hendersonville, N.C. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, November 4, 2018, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Decherd, Tenn. with Pastor Nelson Mercado, officiating.

Mrs. Lorene B. Elliott 88 of Winchester passed Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at her residence after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Kyle and Mary Beasley. She was united in marriage with Herbert Elliott. This union formed the blended family that leaves the following survivors: Gloria Holloway of Nashville, TN, Diane (George) King and Herbert (Brandy) Elliott of Winchester, TN.
She is survived by a daughter/niece: Barbara Banks
Two Grandchildren, Jasmine (Austin) Baxter of Houston, Texas and Jeremiah Banks of Winchester, TN.
One great grandchild, Legend Baxter

11/3/18–Andrew Robert Gamble
Andrew Robert Gamble of Mt. Holly, NC, formerly of Manchester, TN passed this life unexpectedly in Pensacola, FL on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the age of 37. Andrew was born in Tullahoma to Rick and Bonnie Gamble of Manchester, who survive. At the time of his passing Andrew worked as an insurance salesman for Combined Insurance. In addition to his parents, Andrew is survived by two sisters, Vanessa Vanard and her husband Kent, and Melissa Gamble; two nephews, Aidan and Ethan Hayes; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation for Andrew will be held on Saturday, November 3rd from 10:00-12:00pm at the Cumberland Presbytarian Church in Manchester. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12:00pm with Pastor Mark Barron officiating. 11/4/18 — Marie Bianconi Van Cleave
Marie Bianconi Van Cleave of Tullahoma passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Life Care of Tullahoma at the age of 94. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 3 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Tullahoma with Dr. Stephen Yates officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Tullahoma, TN. Visitation with the family will be from 1PM until the service time.
Mrs. Van Cleave a native of Nashville, Tennessee, was the daughter of the late William Laurence and Susan Elizabeth McGovern. She was a graduate of West High School of Nashville and the University of Tennessee. She and her husband enjoyed extensive foreign travel, Mrs. Van Cleave was an avid reader and member of the Board of Coffee County Lannom Library and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She had a passionate love for her children, grandchildren and all her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Van Cleave; brothers, William Owen Bianconi, Thomas Anthony Bianconi, and Owen McGovern Bianconi and one grandchild, James Van Cleave.
Mrs. Van Cleave is survived by three sons, Frank Van Cleave and his wife, Claudia of Lynchburg, John Van Cleave and his wife, Mary Layne of Brentwood and Tom Van Cleave of Flowery Branch, GA; four grandchildren, Lauren Van Cleave, Andrew Van Cleave, Lindsey Van Cleave and Renee’ Crandall and her husband, Keith and three great grandchildren.

11/3/18–Morris Robertson (Sr)
Morris Robertson (Sr), known to many as Mo and to some as Frito, went to be with Jesus on October 30. He passed away while at home surrounded by the love of his children and grandchildren.
Morris was born on December 29, 1938 in Bowie, Texas to William Rentz Robertson and Lydia Louise Hayes Robertson. As a child, his family relocated to Witchita Falls, Texas and later to Fort Worth, Texas. Morris (Mo) Rentz Robertson Sr. married Jo Ann Williams of the New Hope Community (Fort Worth) on November 28, 1956 and they celebrated over 60 years of marriage prior to Jo’s death in January 2017. Morris and Jo Ann moved from the DFW Metroplex area to Marlin, Texas in 1966 where they lived until 2003 upon their retirement and relocation to Manchester,TN. A position with Frito Lay brought Mo and his family to Marlin in 1966 and he was known as the Frito Man in Marlin and surrounding area for the next 13 years. Many friends in Marlin referred to him as Frito even after he left the employment of Frito Lay in 1979 and purchased Lakeview Drive Inn, later Houston’s Restaurant, and then Robertson’s Plantation Inn Restaurant. In 1991 he began working for Deli Express and worked for Deli a decade. When Morris and Jo Ann moved to Manchester, TN in 2003, Mo worked for the state of Tennessee at the Old Stone Fort Golf Course and continued working there until the course closed; a ‘retirement’ job that he truly loved and enjoyed. In Manchester, they joined the Cumberland Presbyterian church and were actively involved in the Fidelis Sunday School Class.
For more than 30 years Morris was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marlin where he was the Sunday School Superintendent for many of those years. He was a City Alderman in Marlin during the mid 1970’s. He was active in the Lions Club, Rotary Club, and Quarterback club supporting the Marlin Bulldogs, never missing a Friday night game for many years. He was the Marlin Bulldogs public announcer for several years. Mo was involved in Marlin Little League coaching and umpiring. He was so much more than a bleacher dad as he was involved in his kids’ extracurricular activities and beyond. Mo always had a smile and a joke and loved to play dominos and golf.
He was preceded in death by Jo Ann, his wife of over 60 years, parents William and Louise Robertson, and older sister Alice Robertson Pratt.
Morris is survived by his younger brother, Leddie Robertson of El Paso and by his four children: sons Morris R. Robertson, Jr. Manchester, Tennessee; Douglas E. Robertson Marlin,Texas; Alex S. Robertson (Kelli) Manchester, Tennessee; and daughter Shelia Robertson Leitzel (Dane) Winchester, Tennessee.
Grandchildren and their families: Dustin Robertson (Brittany) sons Kaiden and Cooper; Dale Robertson (Kathryn) daughters Mackenzie, Macie, Madison; Eric Robertson (Noell) daughter Keyona; Audrie Cordell (Brian) sons Gavin, Warrick, Asher, Avery, daughters Tristen and Liberty; Scott Robertson (Amber) son Aiden, daughter Lillian; Erin Powers (Trice); Alexis Long (Andrew) daughter Joanna; Wesley Sarzosa, Daniel Sarzosa, and Lucas Sarzosa.
The family will receive visitors at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. We will celebrate and honor Mo’s life with a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Mill Community Cemetery on McMinnville highway, officiated by Mark Barron, Pastor of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Manchester. In fulfilling their PaPaw’s and Grannie’s final wishes, pallbearers honoring Mo are all 16 of his grandsons and great grandsons.

Wanda Nunley Radcliffe
Mrs. Wanda Nunley Radcliffe went home to be with
the
Lord on Tuesday October 30, 2018 in Manchester, Tennessee. Wanda was
preceded in death by her parents, sister and two step-brothers; a step
sister-in-law.
She is survived by her only brother, Dr. J.R. Nunley of Hillsboro,
Tennessee and his wife, Diane; a step sister-in-law, Alice Green Johnson of
Calabash, North Carolina.
Wanda became a Christian in September of 1950 where she attended and was a
member of Spring Fork Baptist Church in Charleston, West Virginia. She
later became a member of First Baptist Church in Manchester, Tennessee in
1996 on moving to Manchester to be close to her brother. Wanda graduated
from the University of Charleston (formerly Morris Harvey College) with a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and received her Master’s in Education
Administration from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. Wanda
worked for the State of West Virginia in Education as a teacher, Special
Education Coordinator, Regional Special Education Specialist and Director
for Chapter I and Early Intervention for 25 years. She was active with
United Cerebral Palsy of West Virginia and a member of the American
Association for Exceptional Children. She was Past Worthy Matron of the
Order of the Eastern Star, Tisheklwah No. 45 in Charleston, West
Virginia. After
moving to Manchester, she worked as a Special Education Consulting Teacher
and Special Education Teacher for the Coffee County Board of Education at
Coffee County Central High School before retiring for the second time in
2004. She has served as a Volunteer for Good Samaritan, a member of the
FBC Servant’s Heart group, Past President of the Manchester Garden Club
and
Past Treasuer of the Coffee County Master Gardeners. She was a Life Member
of the Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. and a National Life
Member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc.
Central Funeral Home has been entrusted to handle arrangements. There will
be no visitation or service. A graveside service with the family will be
held at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with the family at a later
date to be determined.

11/2/18 — Barton Ayers Scott
Scott, Barton Ayers, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday,
October 29th, 2018 at the age of 48. Bart was born in Shelbyville to the
late Terry Scott and Mary Anne Hall Scott who survives. He was the Owner
of Nexus Communication Group and attended Faith Lutheran Church in
Tullahoma. In addition to his mother, Bart is survived by his
step-father, Tom Kitchens of Tullahoma; children, Tristan Scott, and
Brooklyn, Emma and Gracie Byford all of Tullahoma; his fiancé, Angela
Byford of Tullahoma; one brother, Brett Scott and his wife Patti of
Lebanon; two nieces, Cassie and Caroline; and several aunts, uncles and
cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1st, 2018 at
Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral service will be held on
Friday, November 2nd, 2018 at Shofner Chapel in Bedford County on Highway
41A at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Shofner Cemetery. For those who
wish, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to
Shofner Chapel, 615 North Main Street, Shelbyville, Tennessee 37160.
