11/16/18 — Robert Lee Sanders
Sanders, Robert Lee, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday,
November 13th, 2018 at his home at the age of 88. Mr. Sanders was born in
Tullahoma to the late A.H. and Catherine Heins Sanders. He served his
country in the United States National Guard and worked during his life as
a manager for Sverdrup. Mr. Sanders was also a member of the church of
Christ at Cedar Lane in Tullahoma. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Osborne Sanders; and one brother,
Alfred Sanders. Mr. Sanders is survived by his daughter, Belinda Gail
Land of Tullahoma; one son, Michael Lee Sanders and his wife Shirlene of
Murfreesboro; one sister, Evelyn Cooper of Tullahoma; four grandchildren,
Troy Sanders, Steve Sanders and his wife Corrie, Kelly Land and Ashley
Land; and four great-grandchildren, Joshlin, Joshua, Taylor and Annleigh.
Visitation for Mr. Sanders will be held on Thursday, November 15th, 2018
at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral services will be held
on Friday, November 16th, 2018 at 12:00pm at the church of Christ at
Cedar Lane with Bro. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose
Hill Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, the family
asks that donations be made to the church of Christ at Cedar Lane, 1200
Cedar Lane, Tullahoma, Tennessee 37388.

11/16/18 — James “Rabbit” Maupin
Mr. James “Rabbit” Maupin 77, of Tullahoma passed Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his residence. He is the son of the late Buford Maupins and Helen Rice Maupins.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Emma Jean Maupin of Tullahoma, TN; Son, Troy Ray of Nashville, TN; Grandson, Delano Ray. Host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation Friday, November 16th, 2018 at 11:00 at Shorter Chapel AME Church with Funeral Services to follow at 12:00 Noon at Shorter Chapel AME Church with Pastor Chris Grizzard Officiating and Pastor Coleman March, Jr , Eulogist.

11/13/18–Juanita Nicholson Moorehead
Dorothy Juanita Nicholson Moorehead, age 89, born May 17, 1929 passed from this life on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Moorehead are scheduled for Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 4 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of service. The family will have a graveside service on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, 4758 New Manchester Hwy, Tullahoma, TN.
A native of Bonnie Blue, VA she was the daughter of the late Dick and Myrtle Berryhill Nicholson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in by her husband of 59 years, Charles Edward Moorehead.
Mrs. Moorehead is survived by three sons; William Bruce Moorehead and wife Linda Austin Moorehead, Roger Dean Moorehead and Stephen Russell Moorehead; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A resident of Tullahoma for 70 years where she lived on Lee Street near Belair School. Mrs. Moorehead enjoyed cooking, cross stitch and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all, including her Church family at West End Baptist Church in Tullahoma and many neighbors, nieces and nephews.

Roger Dail Garrett
Roger Dail Garrett, age 57 of Tullahoma passed away Thursday, November 08, 2018 at Tennova Harton Hospital. No services are planned at this time.
A native of Pennington Gap, Virginia, he was the son of the late Davie Lee and Bobby Joe Sarver Garrett. Mr. Garrett loved to raise vegetable and to cook. He was a veteran of the United State Army attaining the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
Mr. Garrett is survived by his wife, Erika Garrett of Alexandria, Virginia; his daughter Christina Garrett, brothers; Richard Garrett of Jonesville, VA., Gary Garrett of Tennessee, Billy Garrett of Rose Hill, VA., sisters; Kay Garrett of Tennessee, Linda Garrett of Kingsport, TN and Sharon Garrett as well as one grandchild, James Garrett.

11/15/18 — Ronald Elliott Boyles
Ronald Elliott Boyles, age 82, of Estill Springs passed from this life on Saturday, November 10, 2018 peacefully in his sleep. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday November 15, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel in Tullahoma with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Thursday from 10AM until time of service.
Mr. Boyles was born in Detroit, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, S.E.Boyles, mother Flora Nash Boyles, 3 brothers; Donald, Bob and Jimmy Boyles, 2 sisters, Inez Baltimore, and Patricia Boyles Young.
Ronnie served in the US Navy and retired from Arnold Center as a Chief Storekeeper after 39 years of service in March 1999. He also preached at multiple Churches of Christ from 1972-2009. He was the preacher for 21 years at Fredonia Church of Christ in Manchester from July 1988 to 2009.
Mr. .Boyles is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary E. Harris Boyles of Tullahoma, sister; Shirley Boyles Spraggins and husband Bill of Tullahoma, 3 children; Keith Boyles of Tullahoma, Jennifer Boyles of Tullahoma and Faith Boyles Austin of Hendersonville, TN. 5 grandchildren; Cody, Kayla and Houston Boyles, Hope and Timothy Austin as well as several nieces and nephews.

Christy Dawn Raines of Manchester, passed this life on Friday, November 9, 2018 at her residence at the age of 40 years. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Smiths Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until time of service. A native of Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Ladd and Lillie Sons Jacob. She enjoyed fishing, cook-outs, mechanics and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Ladd Jacobs. She is survived by daughter, Hannah Jones of Manchester; son, Joshua Jones and wife Bethany of Fayetteville, NC; brother, Laylon Perry half-brother Don Jacobs of Manchester; sister, Eugina Keasling; half-sisters Shirley Magouirk of Manchester, Darlene Tucker and Loretta Jacobs; two grandsons, Canan M. Trammel and Briar G. Jones as well as special cousins, Tina Buford and Judy Haddon of Tullahoma and Debra Wright and Tammy Coker of Manchester. Janet Marie Pamperin
Janet Marie Pamperin, age 69, of Tullahoma passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at her residence. No services are planned at this time.
A native of Iowa, Ms. Pamperin was the daughter of the late Walter and Beatrice Jackson Pamperin. She was a child care worker who loved to play video games, cards, and enjoyed reading mysteries and detective stories. Ms. Pamperin enjoyed chocolate candy and collecting items pertaining to elephants.
Ms. Pamperian is survived by a daughter, Sabrina Buhl of California, three sons, Michael Buhl of Tullahoma, Dimitri Pamperin and Jason Buhl both of California, a sister, Marlene Bauer of Iowa and a brother, Michael Pamperin of California.

John Jinkins David, age 81, of Estill Springs passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2 :00 o’clock in the chapel of Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow in Concord Cemetery. The family will received friends at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 5 until 8 PM.
A native of New Market, Alabama, Mr. David was the son of the late Odie Glen and Florence Hawkins David and the husband of the late Bobbie Nell Foster David. Mr. David was a veteran of the United States Army, United States Navy, and the Tennessee National Guard. He was a 13 year employee of Suburban Propane and a member of the Emanuel Church of Christ.
Mr. David is survived by his brother, Jim Jernigan of Estill Springs, two sisters, Annie B. Keller of Winchester, and Edith Chandler of Manchester and friend Emily and friend Laura Hagopian.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. David was preceded in death by his step-father, Jim Jernigan, and sisters, Mary Frances Kennedy and Dorothy Luna.

Memorial services for Mrs. Peggy Lain Thompson, age 87, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Manchester Funeral Home with Brother Charles Williams officiating. The family will receive guest at the funeral home on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 12:00 PM until service time. Mrs. Thompson passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Manchester Healthcare surrounded by her loving family.
Peggy was born in Columbia, TN, the daughter of the late Liggett and Louise Lain. She was a member of New Union Church of Christ. Peggy was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, drawing, painting, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Thompson. She is survived by three sons, Kevin Thompson (Mary Ann), Keith Thompson (Kristen), and Brian Thompson (Beth); two daughters, Terri Long (Carlton) and Connie Ford (Ted McGinness); and 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren

Mrs. Sandra Ann Howard-Juarez, 71, passed away
Wednesday November 7, 2018 at her home. She was born in Harlan, Kentucky
on January 16, 1947 to Hiram Smith Wilson and Agnes Pauline Stanley Lawson
who preceded her in death along with her daughter, Mary Beth Updike;
brother, Kyle Patrick Wilson.
She was retired Coal Miner and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
She is survived by her daughters, Priscilla (Ray) Green and Reva Howard
both of Manchester; brother, Hiram Smith (Karen) Wilson Jr., Pittsburg, PA;
sisters, Barbara (Jim) Romanovich, Pittsburg, PA, Carissa Wilson,
Cincinnati, OH and Susan K. Jones, Huber Heights, OH; 6 grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the Central Funeral Home
Chapel with Minister Steven Ray officiating with burial to follow in the
Manchester City Cemetery. Visitation: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Saturday at
Central Funeral Home, Manchester, Tennessee.
