1/13/19 — Skylar Ansleigh Roepke

Skylar Ansleigh Roepke of Tullahoma, passed this life on Thursday, January
10, 2019 in Tullahoma at the age of 2 months. Funeral services are
scheduled for Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 3 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the service time.

Skylar was the daughter of Gunnar Roepke and Camellia Clark,
both
of Tullahoma. In addition to her parents, she is survived by brother,
O’Connar Roepke; grandparents, Randy and Sherry Roepke of Tullahoma and
Paula Clark of Tullahoma and great grandparents, Thomas Lee Clark Jr and
Marcia Clark of Decherd and Ross Roepke of Tullahoma.

1/11/19 — Roger Dale Finchum, Jr.

Roger Dale Finchum Jr. of Tullahoma, passed this life on December 12, 2018
in Nashville at the age of 50 years. Memorial Services are scheduled for
Friday, January 11, 2019 at 5 PM at the Hendersonville Pentecostal Church,
151 Rockland Road, Hendersonville, TN 37075. The family will receive
friends following the service until 8 PM.

A native of Nashville, Roger was the son of Roger Dale Finchum
Sr. and Shirley Lundy Finchum of Tullahoma. He was a U S Marine veteran. He
loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed
reading, studying history and visiting historic battlefields. He was a
pilot and writer and enjoyed being outdoors, swimming and going to the
beach.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Roger
Dale Finchum III and Andrew Michael Finchum, both of Noblesville, IN;
daughter, Natalie Paige Finchum of Noblesville, IN; brother, Jeffrey
Bartholomew Finchum of Tullahoma; sister, Trina Dell Finchum Bennett of
Tullahoma; niece Courtney Ruth Russell of Brunswick, GA and nephew,
Alexander Herbert Russell of Hendersonville, TN.

1/9/19–Earl Gordon Eaton

Funeral services for Mr. Earl Gordon Eaton, age 91, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randy Brown officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Mr. Eaton passed from this life on Monday, January 7, 2019, at St. Thomas – Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN.

Earl was born in Caseyville, IL to the late William and Willie Dell Eaton. He was a member of Manchester First United Methodist Church, and was a United States Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War. Earl was stationed at the Pentagon while serving his country. After serving in the military, Earl was a lifetime member of The American Legion, plant manager of Craftmore Glove Company in Lynchburg, and eventually opened and owned Eaton’s Plumbing and Electric in Manchester. He was a good hardworking person, and he loved to fish and hunt. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his parents, Earl is also preceded in death by one brother, James William Eaton. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mattie Lee Eaton; two daughters, Deborah Amacher (Terry) and Melissa Cartwright (Jim); two sisters, Marie Hatfield and Annette Smith; three grandchildren, John Cummins (Joann), James Cartwright (Jamie), and Anna Marie Cartwright; three great-grandchildren, Robert Cummins, Sarah Beth Cartwright, and Emma Grace Cartwright.

1/9/19 — Rodney Allen Slone

Mr. Rodney Allen Slone, 49, passed away Saturday
January 5, 2019 unexpectedly. He was born in Adrian, Michigan on February
13, 1969. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Slone,
step-father, Harold Applegate.

He was a self-employed Truck Driver.

He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Allion Applegate; sons, Travis M.
Slone
and Kodi A. White; daughters, Emily F. Slone and Heather M. Mosher;
brother, Robert Slone; sister, Shelly West; half-sister, Stacey Roth; 3
grandchildren, Sawyer, Gavin and Rayna; step-grandson, Noah; step-son,
Kevin Kester.

Funeral services will be 5:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.

1/9/19 — James Walter Graham

Reverend James Walter “J.W.” Graham, aka “Jay”,
age
88, passed peacefully from this world on the morning of January 5, 2019 at
Bailey Manor Assisted Living Facility in Manchester, Tennessee. Born May
18, 1930 in Tracy City, Tennessee, to Homer and Renice Graham, he was the
third of eight children. Jay grew up with a love for gospel music and
strong Christian values passed down through generations. He loved to sing
and play the piano. He had a strong work ethic and in his early adult
life worked as a grocer, a coal miner, upholsterer, a shirt factory
cutting-room foreman, and furniture builder.

Throughout his life Jay was active in church as a self-taught pianist and
choir director. He played piano for his family’s quartet known first as
the
Spiritualairs and later as the Singing Victors. He also played for the
Cumberland Boys Quartet. He attended Motlow Community College and Athens
State College in his mid-forties, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree with
a major in religion. After completing divinity course work at Emory
University and Vanderbilt University, he was ordained as a Methodist
minister in 1985. He pastored several churches in the Middle Tennessee
area during his career including Pleasant Hill, Smith’s Chapel, Harris
Chapel, Turkey Creek, Pleasant Grove, Eagleville and Concord United
Methodist. He entertained and touched many lives through his musical
talent and ministry.

Jay is survived by his son Tony Graham (Debi), grandsons Jared Graham and
Chase Graham (Suzie), two great grandchildren, Mary-Michael and Jack
Graham, a

step-son, Arvis Williams (Robyn) and step-grandchildren Amanda and Nicholas
Williams. He is also survived by two sisters, Doris Hughes and Carol Gray,
two brothers, Homer Graham, Jr. and Larry Graham. He was “Uncle Jay” to
numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Beard Graham, his parents,
Renice and Homer Graham, Sr., brother, Robert Craig Graham, two sisters,
Anna Lee Harris and Oma Ruth Ledford, and step-grandson, Christopher
Williams.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Central Funeral
Home in Manchester, Tennessee at noon. The service will be officiated by
Brother Danny Coffelt. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8 from 5:00 –
8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 10:30 a.m – 12:00 noon. Entombment will be at
Sequatchie Memorial Gardens, Jasper, Tennessee.

1/7/19 — Verna Sue Yates Green

Funeral services for Verna Sue Yates Green, age 76, Manchester, TN,
will be conducted at 12:00 P. M. on Monday, January, 7, 2019 at Coffee
County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Mill Cemetery. The
family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral
chapel on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Sue passed from life on Saturday,
January 5th, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Sue was born in Manchester to the late Norma and Vernon Yates. She was
a member of Blanton’s Chapel United Methodist Church and was very
active in her church. She also loved scrap booking and spending time
with her family and friends.

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jerry Green,
Manchester, daughter Karen (Ken) Broadwell of Ooltewah, son Dale Green
(Tiffany Gray) of Manchester, grandchildren, Amanda Kilgore of
Ooltewah, Nicole Waggoner of Manchester Braxton Gray of Manchester and
great-grandchildren Emmalee and Jackson Kilgore of Ooltewah and Hunter
Horton of Manchester, brothers Gary (Faye) Yates of Huntsville, AL and
John (Lisa) Yates of Manchester and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Blanton’s
Chapel United Methodist Church.

1/8/19 — David William Vandenbossche

Mr. David William Vandenbossche Sr. 73, passed
away Thursday January 3, 2019 at the Unity Medical Center Emergency Room.
He
was born in Mt Clemens, Michigan on June 2, 1945 to Daniel F. Vandenbossche
Jr. and Jean Claire McClellen Vandenbossche who preceded him in death along
with his brother, Daniel F. Vandenbossche III.

He was retired from American Axle and also had worked for General Motors.
He
was a member of Saint Marks Catholic Church in Manchester and the Knights
of Columbus, VFW and American Legion. He was a US Army veteran of the
Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Sherryl Denin Vandenbossche; sons, David W.
Vandenbossche Jr., Casco Township, Michigan, Troy Vandenbossche, Casco
Township, Michigan, Tod (Michelle) Vandenbossche, Manchester and Mike
(Siobhan) Vandenbossche, Chesterfield, Michigan; brother, Larry
Vandenbossche, Sun City, Florida; sisters, Diane (Randy) Jezewski, Smith
Creek, Michigan and Valerie (Billy) Russell, Lipan, Texas; grandchildren,
Loryn, Noah, Teagan, Kelsey and Kirby; 1 great grandchild; several nieces
and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at Saint Marks Catholic
Church with Father Steve Klasek officiating. Visitation: 1:00 PM – 2:00

1/6/19 — Willie Bradford

Willie Bradford of Estill Springs, passed this life on Wednesday, January
2, 2019 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga at the age of 74 years. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 2 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Winchester Memorial
Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 5 from 6-9
PM.

A native of Franklin County, TN, he was the son of the late
William and Cora Sanders Bradford. He retired from the city of
Winchester’s Public Works Department. Mr. Bradford was a minister and was
currently serving The Bible Church in Manchester. He enjoyed working on
cars and flower gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his
wife, Margaret Bradford; son Willie Ray Bradford and brothers, Jessie,
Monroe, Floyd and Herschel Bradford.

Mr. Bradford is survived by his daughter, Becky Dye (Daryle
Frye) of Tullahoma; brother, Jerry Bradford of Manchester; sisters,
Pearline Hickerson (Tommy) and Ruth Cook (Gary), both of Manchester;
grandchildren, Jimmy McCreary of Estill Springs, Tanya Porter (Wesley) of
Manchester, Kandi Brannan (Josh) of Belvidere; Justin Bradford of Tullahoma
and Courtney and Brittany Bradford, both of Winchester and Six great
grandchildren.

1/5/19 — Barbara Abston Walker

Barbara Abston Walker, of Manchester, TN, passed away January 1, 2019, after battling complications of breast cancer.

Barbara was the second daughter of Luther and Lorena Abston, born in Oliver Springs, TN. She is survived by her sons, Richard, Mitchell, and Gregory; her sisters, Carolyn Kelly and Tommie Jackson; and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. “Bob” Walker.

The family will receive family and friends at Coffee County Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 4, 2019, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 11:00 AM, with services at 12:00 PM and burial to follow.

The family would like to thank Avalon Hospice for the loving care and comfort they rendered to Barbara in her final days. In memory of Barbara, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

1/5/19 — Mark Wade Luttrell, Jr.

Mark Wade Luttrell Jr. of Tullahoma passed this life on Friday, December
28, 2018 at the age of 34 years. Funeral Services will be conducted on
Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with
burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors
on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 5 – 8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Mark, a native of Tullahoma was the son of Mark Wade Luttrell Sr. of
Tullahoma and the late Patricia Faye Holder-Luttrell. He enjoyed riding
motorcycles, woodworking, working on anything mechanical, music and
especially being with his children. He was a good friend.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Ben
and Nannie Lou Holder and grandfather, Martin Luther Luttrell Jr.

Mark is survived by his father, Mark Wade Luttrell Sr. of Tullahoma; wife,
Brittany Luttrell of Tullahoma; grandmother, Sandra Holman; step
grandmother, Janie Luttrell; son, Ethan Sweeton; daughters, Kaleigh and
Kylie Luttrell; brother,
Dustin Alford; sister, Mandy Luttrell; niece Trisha Luttrell and many
uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in his honor
