1/27/19 — Milton “Billy” Eugene Cook

Milton “Billy” Eugene Cook of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday,
January 23, 2019 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the age of 81
years. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, January 27, 2019 at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Maplewood
Cemetery. The
family will receive friends beginning at 12 PM.

A native of Madison County, AL, he was the son of the late
Steve C. and Mary Upton Cook. He was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed
playing bingo, drawing and coloring.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife,
Thelma Cook; brother, Willard Cook and sister, Jewel Walden.

Mr. Cook is survived by brothers, Steve Cook Jr. and George Cook
(Mary), both of Tullahoma; sisters, Frances Howard of Tullahoma, Mattie
Weatherbe of AL and Annette Holt of Appleton, WI and numerous nieces and
nephews.

1/26/19 — Lewis Alexander Floyd

Lewis Alexander Floyd, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, January
22, 2019 at his residence at the age of 80 years. Funeral Services are
scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home with burial to follow at Willow Mount Cemetery in Shelbyville. The
family will receive friends beginning at 11 AM.

A native of Manchester, he was the son of the late William
Alexander and Maymie Elliott Floyd. He enjoyed fishing, being with his
grandchildren and working on his lawn equipment.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son,
Brian Floyd and sisters, Barbara and Donna L. Floyd.

Mr. Floyd is survived by daughters, Tabatha Leann Floyd (Dan
Morgan) of Tullahoma; Connye Holiday (Terry) of Manchester and Sheila
Sweeton of Tullahoma; brother, Billy N Floyd (Linda) of Shelbyville;
sister, Sandra Floyd of Shelbyville and grandchildren, Alex and Aidan Floyd.

1/25/19–Lawton Eston Rogers, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Lawton Eston Rogers, Jr., age 74, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 25, 2019, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Charlie Westmoreland officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Friday. Mr. Rogers passed from this life on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Manchester, TN.

Eston was born in Coffee County, TN, to the late Lawton, Sr. and Alice Rogers. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. At this time, he lived in Germany and worked in the Air Defense Department. After his military career, Eston worked as a welder at Carrier before his retirement. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and playing ball, but his favorite thing was playing with his grandsons. He loved dogs, but especially Beagles and Fox Hounds. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his parents, Eston is also preceded in death by his loving wife of 36 years, Kathleen Rogers; brother, J.B. Rogers; sister, Etta Mae Lowry. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Elliott (Donnie); brothers, Paul Rogers (Sharon); sisters, Betty Ann Adams, Shirley Hobbs, Celine Bryan (James), Earline McKesick, Patsy Baldwin (Foster), and Jenny McCafferty (Doug); grandchildren, Braxton and Carter Elliott.

1/25/19–Lora F Shelton

Lora F Shelton, of Franklin County, passed this life on
Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the age
of 72 years. A Celebration of Life gathering is scheduled for Friday,
January 25, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

A native of Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Robert
Manuel and Rosie Marbut Statham. She was of the Pentecostal faith and
enjoyed reading her Bible and praying. She enjoyed singing and she and her
husband, the late Joe Shelton, performed in a quartet for many years.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by
brothers, Robert Earl and Manuel Lee Statham and sister, Barbara Jean
Ashley.

Mrs. Shelton is survived by son, Joey Shelton (Mary) of
Hillsboro; daughter, Shelia Willier (John) of Decherd; sisters, Kay
Millraney (Jim) of Estill Springs and Rosie Barnes (Freddie Bush) of
Hillsboro; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

1/22/19–Juanita Gifford Bradford

Juanita Gifford Bradford, age 84, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Life Care Center in Tullahoma, TN. A private family memorial visitation was held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oakland Memory Lanes in Dolton, IL, at a later date.

Juanita was born in Princeton, AL, the daughter of the late Gus and Lorena Hensley Gifford. She was a homemaker, who loved being with her family and enjoyed quilting and painting.

In addition to her parents, Juanita was also preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe Bradford; one brother, Carl Gifford; and four sisters, Violeta Gifford, Lou Scott, Grady Gifford, and Lometta Russell. She is survived by two sons, Danny Bradford and Garland Judge; two daughters, Rose DeBoer and Kathy Bradford; one sister, Margaret Zerby; four grandchildren, Jason Casteel, Eric Bradford, Jessica Bond, and Andrea Johnson; and seven great grandchildren, Cade Casteel, Caleb Bradford, Becca Casteel, Nathan Johnson, Jasmine Bradford, Mallory Stone, and Hannah Bond.

1/22/19 — Edna Jean Parham

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Jean Parham, age 78, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Mill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M on Monday, January 19, 2019, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Parham passed from this life on Friday, January 18, 2019, at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Edna was born in Crossville, TN to the late Miller and Minnie Demetro. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to yard sales and antique shops, cooking, cleaning, gardening, and most of all spending time with her beloved family.

In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by four brothers, B.C Demetro, Jr. Demetro, Denny Demetro, and Robert Demetro; one sister, Wanda Moody. She is survived by her loving husband, Sammy Parham; one son, Michael Phillips (Vickie); one daughter, Barbara Hyde (Ronnie); one sister, Haddie Mae Nunley; four grandchildren, Daneile Jeffreys, Heather Golden, Christopher Duke, and Lindsey Duke; five great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren

Lisa Marie Wadford

Lisa Marie Wadford of Estill Springs, passed this life on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at her residence at the age of 49 years. No services are scheduled.
A native of Minot, ND, she was the daughter of the late Richard DeLare and Marlene Fjeldahl of Minot, ND. Lisa was an Ophthalmic Technician and worked for Eye Associates Optical in Tullahoma. Lisa “loved being nice” and had many friends. She enjoyed holiday decorating and her favorite holiday was Christmas. She was an artist and worked in charcoal, acrylics and pencil portraits. She also enjoyed decorating cakes. She loved children and animals.
In addition to her mother, Marlene Fjeldahl, she is survived by her husband, Nathan Wadford of Estill Springs; son, Sgt. Dallas Gene DeLare and his wife, Sierra, stationed in Alaska; daughters, Angela Marie Harvey and her husband, Christopher of Tullahoma and Ashley Ann DeLare-Ryden of Estill Springs; sister, Lori MacNamara of Venice, FL and many nieces and nephews.

William “JR” Hall

William “JR” S Hall Jr. of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday,
January 18, 2019 at his residence at the age of 66. No services are
scheduled.

A native of Winchester, he was the son of the late William S and
Katherine Davis Hall. “He was kind hearted and giving of anything he had.
He
always said that he didn’t worry about tomorrow, God would take care of
him.
He was always smiling and making others laugh. He was a hard worker and
loved God and his family.” He was an avid UT football fan and enjoyed
classic country music.

He is survived by son, Coty Hall; daughters, Sandra Gail Caba and Michelle
Perry; stepdaughter, Tabitha Harris; sisters, Wendy Hall and Sandra Hall
Davis; seven grandchildren and good friends, Myrtle Richards and Phil
Richards.

1/21/19 — David Tant, Jr.

DAVID A. TANT, JR. 59, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga. David was known to many of his friends as “Red Man”. He was born in Chicago, Ill. to the late David Tant, Sr., and Lura Krantz Tant, on December 19, 1959. Mr. Tant was self-employed. He loved owning and riding motorcycles during his lifetime. He was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan. Mr. Tant was a member of the Sons of The Confederate Veterans organization. He was very interested in wolves and the raising of wolf dogs. He will be remembered for his love of life and his family and many friends.

Mr. Tant is survived by his wife, Cherie Tant of Estill Springs, grandson, Christian Prince, brothers; Lonnie (Linda) Tant of Sewanee, Joe Cobb of Wartrace, sisters; Carol (Wayne) McBee of Sewanee, Betty Naylor of California, Margaret Gresham of Brooklyn, Mich. and Nellie Fay Hamblin of Adrian, Mich. nephew, Chris (Angela) Mannes of Estill Springs, and loving girls, Rosie and Deliah.

Services for Mr. Tant will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday evening, January 21, 2019, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 P.M. until service time at 6:00.

1/20/19–Frances Annette Sharp Gregory

Frances Annette Sharp Gregory, age eighty-one, passed this life on
January 16, 2019, at Brookdale in Tullahoma, TN. She was born on December
1, 1937, in Bedford County, TN. Mrs. Gregory was the daughter of the late
Harrell Wilson Sharp and Katherine Hardy Sharp. She was the widow of
Thomas Wayne Gregory whom she married on June 1, 1956, in Flat Creek,
Tennessee. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Marie Sharp
Summarell. She is survived by daughter, Katherine Gail Gregory Holland,
her husband, Dean F. Holland; son, Thomas Scott Gregory, his wife, Cheri
Buchanan Gregory; three grandchildren, Emily Lauren Wooten, her husband,
Benjamin Mark Wooten, Thomas Brett Gregory, William Taylor Gregory; and
three great-grandsons, Jackson Holland Wooten, Clayton Gregory Wooten,
and Grant Benjamin Wooten; step-grandchildren, Dean Young Holland and his
wife April, and Adam Fletcher Holland and his wife Kate; step
great-grandchildren, Margaret Elizabeth, Annie Jane, Hudson Fletcher,
Miles Young and Eleanor Grace Holland; one brother, Harrell Ray Sharp;
and several nieces and nephews. A 1956 graduate of Shelbyville
Central High School, Mrs. Gregory earned an A.S. degree from Motlow State
Community College; B.S., M.Ed. and Ed.S. degrees from Middle Tennessee
State University (MTSU); and an Educational Doctorate (Ed.D.) from the
University of Alabama. She was a former teacher in the Franklin County
School System and an Adjunct Professor at MTSU. She was well known in the
educational community for developing the “Leaping Into the Classroom with
Music” program that taught children basic skills through music and
movement. Through her educational career, she received many awards and
accolades for her accomplishments. She was a member of the Delta Kappa
Gamma International Society and served in many positions with this
organization, throughout the years. She was also a member of Highland
Baptist Church and a church pianist and choir director for 47 years. She
loved gospel music and spending time with her family. Visitation
will be held on Saturday, January 19th, 2019 from 4:00-7:00pm at Kilgore
Funeral Home with the funeral service on Sunday, January 20th, 2019 at
2:00pm at Highland Baptist Church in Tullahoma with burial following at
Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Reverands Jim Norman and David Wall will
preside. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Highland
Baptist Church.
