Mrs. Linda Ellen Robison, 62, passed away,
Thursday February 28, 2019 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester. She was
born in Fresno, California on December 11, 1956 to Clarence Robert Flory
and Edith Erlene Hudson Flory who preceded her in death along with her
brother, Billy Flory..
She was a X-Ray technician and therapist with Cook Chiropractic until her
retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Neal “J.R.” Robison; son, Chad
(Rebecca) Robison, Gallatin, TN; daughter, Hope (Mark) Skapinetz, Marietta,
GA; Elisha Phillips (Jerimiah Robinson); brother, Michael Flory; sisters,
Teri Fields, Harrison, TN; niece, Derda (Jeremy) Newman, Decatur, TN;
grandchildren, Caden, Layten, Sophie, Anson and Noam.
A reception for family and friends will be held Thursday March 7, 2019 from
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the parlors of Central Funeral Home, Manchester,

2/28/19 — Evelyn Alexander Hill
Evelyn Alexander Hill, 68 , of Whites Creek, TN passed Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Grace Healthcare of Whites Creek. She is the daughter of the late James and Hazel Alexander.
She is survived by devoted daughter, Christina Elam; two grandchidren, Jordan an Jacob Elam all of Murfreesboro, TN.
Visitation, Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 11:00 am at Church of Christ at Cedar Lane with Funeral Services to follow at 12:00 Noon with Bro. Tony Holt as Eulogist.

Allan Lee Houghtaling
ALLAN LEE HOUGHTALING, age 67, of Decherd, Tenn., went home to be with Jesus on Monday, February 25th, 2019. Mr. Houghtaling was born on June 2, 1951, to the late Gene and Donna Houghtaling in Lyons, New York. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He retired from Arnold Air Force Base in 2013. Mr. Houghtaling attended the New Beginnings Church in Pelham, Tenn.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Houghtaling was preceded in death by two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Diane Houghtaling of Decherd, 1 sister, Shanon Malbone of Savannah, NY, 5-daughters, 2-sons and 14 grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.

Phillip Ray Odle
Phillip Ray Odle, age 70 of Manchester passed away Thursday Feb. 28, 2019 at his home. Mr. Odle, a retired construction worker, was born in Gary, Indiana.
Mr. Odle was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Sarah Odle; sisters Betty and Shirley; and great-grandson Diego Ray Salas. He is survived by his wife Teresa; sons Kelly (Diane) Odle, Kevin (Theresa) Odle and daughter Carrie Walls of Michigan; a brother Ken and sister Phyllis.
He is also survived by grandchildren Jacob (Elise) Will, Janelle Will, Tasha Salas, Shayne (Ashley) Odle; and great-grandchildren Lexi, Mae, Kat, Hayden, Everett, Jade, Clairie.

3/5/19 — Nancy Dee Hale
Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Dee Hale, age 83, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Monday, March 4, 2019, and on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Hale passed from this life surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro.
Nancy was born on October 1, 1935 to the late S.A. “Red” Soloman and Frances Givens in Nashville, TN. Nancy was a member of Red Hill Church of Christ. She was the co-owner of A&G Equipment, and the previous co-owner of the KOA, where she also served as a board member, Nancy was also employed with National Life in Nashville, Tennessee. She always encouraged everyone in her family to further their education and assisted them in many ways with obtaining their degree. Nancy enjoyed traveling with her husband, camping, sewing, cooking, and most importantly spending time with her family. She also loved her dogs Odie and Freckles, and cats Baby Kitty, Tigger, and Lacy.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, S.A “Red” Soloman and Frances Givens. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Billy Hugh Hale whom she met at The Ryman Auditorium while attending a gospel singing with friends ; two sons, Bruce Hale (Jana Uherkova- Hale) and Glenn Hale; one daughter, Debra Meeker (Ronnie); one sister, Pat Mitchell; five grandchildren, Erica (Brad), Megan, Dalton (Rachel), Jordan (Laina), Forrest (Brooklynn); two great-grandchildren, Abbie and Reese; niece, Cheryl Rademacher; nephew, Scott Rademacher; and several other nieces, nephews, and extended family.

3/3/19–Connie Clutter Laurence
Connie Clutter-Laurence, age 50 of Manchester, went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2019 after a brief illness. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Manchester Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Hart officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Connie loved to draw and left her family with many works of art to cherish. Connie loved animals and was passionate about animal rescue. Connie was a graduate of Harding University. She enjoyed many jobs during her career but particularly enjoyed her time as a childrens librarian in Athens, Tennessee.
Connie was a member of the Red Hill Church of Christ.
Connie leaves to honor her memory, her parents, Howard and Helen Clutter, son Alex Oates (Beka Candore), brother Rob (Tiffany) Clutter, nieces Mollie (Sean) Metts, Andie Clutter, nephews Eli Clutter and Hudson Clutter, uncle Sonny (Peggy) Laurence, and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to the Red Hill Church of Christ Building Fund, Red Hill Church of Christ Mission Fund or the Coffee County Animal Shelter. Connie was an organ donor.
3/3/19 — Duon F. Holman
Mr. Duon F. Holman, 96, died Saturday February
23, 2019 at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton, New Jersey. He
was born in Ballard County, Kentucky on January 5, 1923 to Elmer and Lois
Reeves Holman who preceded him in death along with his wife, Garnetta
Greif Holman; brothers, Virgil, Dalton and Forest Holman; sister Pauline
Dickey.
He loved to fish and spend time in Cherokee, North Carolina. He was a
member of the Manchester First Baptist Church and loved volunteering his
time with the Duck River Baptist Association Disaster Relief. He was
retired machinist/mechanic from Arnold Engineering Development Center
“AEDC”. He was a Manchester, Tennessee resident until his health
declined.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Odasz; son, Erwin Holmon; sister,
Jeanelle Montgomery; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Sunday in the Central Funeral Home
chapel with Dr. Brenton Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Newton
Creek Cemetery in Kevil, Kentucky on Monday at 12:00 Noon with Military
Honors. Visitation: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Sunday at Central Funeral Home,

3/2/19 — Billy Ray Ringer
Funeral services for Mr. Billy Ray Ringer, age 87, of Manchester, will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the funeral home. Mr. Ringer passed from this life surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 27, 2019.
Billy Ray was born August 7, 1931 to George and Laura (Hosley) Ringer in Trumann, Arkansas who preceded him in death along with his stepmother Beatrice McHann Ringer, Roger Ray Ringer, step daughter Denise Simmons, sister-in-law Nancy Ringer, Brothers, Howard, George and George Ringer, Jr.
Billy served in the Army for eight years and toured in Germany. After the military he moved to Michigan and joined the Ironworkers Union and for the next thirty two years traveled and worked in many states, including Washington, California, Hawaii, and Indiana where he met his wife of thirty five years, Barbara (Crosslin) Ringer and they spent the last nine years of his career in Anchorage, Alaska, before retiring and settling in Manchester, Tennessee in 1992.
While living in Manchester Mr. Bill’s passions included making Christmas yard art that would light up his yard the day after Thanksgiving each year, welding handrails for neighbors and having breakfast at Jiffy Burger to start his day.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, son Dale Ray (Ann) Ringer of Carmel Valley, California, Step-daughter Deb Simmons of Florence, Arizona and Jim(Annette) Simmons of Crown Point, Indiana, Brothers Glenn Ringer of Manchester, Tennessee, George T. Ringer of Kansas City, Missouri, Melvin (Jane) Ringer of Lawson, Missouri, Sisters Nora Earnest of Pottsville, Arkansas, Helen Ringer of Russellville, Arkansas, step brothers Stan (Judy) McHann of Smithville, Tennessee, Myrel (Barbara) McHann of Modesto, California. Eleven Grandchildren, twenty Great Grandchildren, and three Great Great Grandchildren spread out from Idaho, Arizona, California, Indiana, Wisconsin, Washington and Tennessee.

2/27/19–Mary Jewell Thomas
Mary Jewell Thomas of Hillsboro passed this life on Saturday, February 23,
2019 at her residence at the age of 78. Graveside services are scheduled
for Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11 AM at Beans Creek Cemetery in
Hillsboro.
A native of Coffee County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and
Ezell Brown Walden. She was a member of Our Fathers House Church in Cowan
and enjoyed attending church. She enjoyed singing in church, flower
gardening and going shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky
Calvin Thomas; brother, Joe Walden and sister, Elva Mae Money.
She is survived by husband, Pascal Thomas of Hillsboro; daughters, Diane
McCormick and her husband, Randy and Donna Sitz and her husband, Tony both
of Hillsboro; brother, Carl Walden and his wife, Mary of Hillsboro and
Charlie Walden and his wife, Larrie of Houston, TX; sister, Brenda Perry
and her husband, Robert of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Samantha Thompson,
Jessica Massingille, Craig Majors and Danielle Hill and great
grandchildren, Lilly, Holt, Hope, Sadie, Piper, Zephyer and Daxx.

2/26/19 — Johnnie Edward Robinson
Johnnie (John) Edward Robinson, age 72, of Manchester and formerly of Cookeville, passed away Thursday February 21 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville after a brief illness.
Johnnie was born March 13, 1946 in Monterey, TN to the late Willie J. and Hazel Ruth Garrett Robinson.
Johnnie grew up and attended school in Cookeville. He graduated from Central High School in 1964. He joined the US Navy and served 10 years as an aviation electrician in Jacksonville, FL. After returning to Tennessee, he joined the Tennessee National Guard where he served for 10 years in communications. He worked as a quality engineer with various companies including M-Tek in Manchester.
He was a member of the Highland Lodge #214 F&AM Masonic Lodge and First Baptist Church in Manchester.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wilma Jean Jackson Robinson; daughters, Tracy (Lindsey) Ralston, Karen (Wayne) Brown, Kelly (Daniel) Wimberly; grandchildren, John Stevens, Carrie Stevens, Stetson Blanton, Shelbi Blanton, Lacy Hunt; Larrisa Brown, Sydney Brown, Wyatt Teal, and Amber Brown; great-grandchildren, Jordynn Blanton, Gage Hunt, Anna Johnson, LJ Hunt, and Sophia Blanton, all of Manchester, TN; two brothers, Jack Robinson, and Gary (Debbie) Robinson of Cookeville; brother-in-law, Paul Jackson; three sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Johnson, Geraldine Jackson, and Patsy Johnson of Cookeville; special friends, Lorie, Calista, and Bane Vanzant; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends and neighbors in Manchester.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday February 26 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner. Interment with military honors will follow at Cookeville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 – 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Manchester with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with a Masonic service at 7 p.m; and again Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time.
