4/13/19–James Cagner Maxwell

Funeral services for Minister James Cagner Maxwell, age 73, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Little Hurricane Cemetery in Coffee County, TN. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Maxwell quietly went home to be with his heavenly Father on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN.

James was born on June 17, 1945 to the late Charlie Teal and Lettie Lee Scott Maxwell. He was a member of the Little Hurricane Primitive Baptist Church. James worked for the State of Tennessee as a master draftsman. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

Minister James always greeted you with a big smile, loved to sing, but most of all, he loved the Word of God. His favorite song was “Take the Lord Wherever You Go.”

In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by three brothers, George Edward Maxwell, Samuel Maxwell, and Charles Maxwell; and two sisters, Clara Emily and Nannie Lee Maxwell. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Clemmie J. Baugh Maxwell of Manchester, TN; three sons, Robert Anderson, Joseph Maxwell, and Calvin Maxwell, all of Shelbyville, TN; one daughter, Aretha Anderson of Shelbyville, TN; foster children, Nicole Reese of Decherd, TN and Keith Reese of Nashville, TN; one brother, Elvis Maxwell of Detroit, MI; one sister, Annie Lou (James Darden) of Shelbyville, TN; and a host of grandchildren, cousins, and special friends.

4/8/19 — Jeanne Suzanne Cunningham

Mrs. Jeanne Suzanne Cunningham, 90, passed away
Monday April 1, 2019 at Lebanon Health and Rehabilitation in Lebanon,
Tennessee. She was born in Greenville, Texas on January 29, 1929 to Tell
Stringer and Thelma Athae Pardue who preceded her in death along with her
half-sister, Sarah Clair Stringer.

She was a member of Manchester First Methodist Church and had attended Bob
Jones University.

She is survived by her daughter, Genna Stidham Luke; sons, Paul Ray Sidham,
James Binford Stidham and Scott Andrew Stidham; 7 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday at First Methodist Church in
Manchester with Minister Randy Brown officiating with burial to follow at
Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Sunday at

4/9/19 — Patrick Henry Odle

Mr. Patrick Henry Odle, 84, passed away Friday April
5, 2019 at his home. He was born in Ramer, Tennessee in McNairy County on
September 12, 1934 to George Washington Odle and Mittie Lucille Bevis Odle
who preceded him in death along with his wife, Bertha Ann Wood Odle.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was baptised at the
Faith Freewill Baptist Church in Manchester. He was a Die Castor and his
last job was with Batesville. He enjoyed making childrens toys, birds,
story telling, hunting, fishing and craft fairs. He authored his early
lifes story in the book: Hell and Highwater on Hinkle Creek.

He is survived by his caregiver, Billy Smartt; sons, Randall Layne Odle and
Eric Lamar Odle; step-daughters, Joanne Henry and Donna Reynolds; step-son,
Audi Osborne; sister, Margaret Hurney; several grandchildren, nieces and
nephews.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Tuesday in the Central Funeral Home chapel
with Minister Benny Benjamin officiating with burial to follow in the

4/8/19 — William Kenneth Lewis

Funeral services for Mr. William Kenneth Lewis, age 92, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 8, 2019, at Manchester Funeral Home with Scott Bennett, Scott Storey, and Brent Lewis officiating. Burial will be held privately. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Mr. Lewis passed from this life on Friday, April 5, 2019, in Pulaski, TN, surrounded by his loving family.

William was born in Jackson, MI to the late William and Flora Lewis. He was a Dairy Farm Specialist at Kraft Foods, Inc. William was a member of Mastin Lake Road Church of Christ, and he served in the United States Army during WWII and the Korean War. William loved helping others. He always took food to the members of his community that were shut-in or would offer them a ride to and from church. William was a Deacon and Sunday School teacher, and he loved to travel. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his parents, William is also preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Ann Frazier Lewis; one son, John R. Lewis; one step-son, Charles Walker; two brothers, Virgil Lewis and Edwin Lewis. He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann Lewis; three daughters, Judy Hageman (Darrell), Deborah Lewis (Gene), and Phyllis Reeves; three step-daughters, Barbara Bennett, Nellie Hopkins, and Sarah Quick; one brother, Clyde Lewis; two sisters-in-law, Johnsie Lewis and Darlene Lewis; sever grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

4/11/19 — Charline Rose Ramsey

Mrs. Charline Rose Ramsey, 80, passed away
Wednesday April 3, 2019 at Kaiser Hospital in Vacaville, California. She
was born in Pampa, Texas on May 9, 1938 to Charles Austin McManus and
Sylvia Gillispie McManus who preceded her in death along with her husband,
Charles A.J. Ramsey; son Charles Ronnie Ramsey.

She was a member of Forest Mill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth A. Ramsey and his wife, Lisa of
Fairfield, California; grandchildren, Sabrina Marie Ramsey, Charles Ronnie
Ramsey, Kimberly Kalena Hall, Galen Jackson Ramsey, Jacob Reed Ramsey and
Donnamae Marie Ramsey; 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday April 11, 2019 in the Central
Funeral Home chapel with Minister John Daniels officiating with burial to

4/7/19 — Kaylen E. Kochans

Kaylen E Kochans of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, April 3, 2019
at Tennova Harton at the age of 27 years. Funeral Services are scheduled
for Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with
burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be
Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 5-8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Kaylen, a native of Tullahoma, was the daughter of Todd Bell of Hillsboro
and Marcie Myers of Tullahoma. She was a 2010 Graduate of Tullahoma High
School and enjoyed participating in beauty pageants, listening to music and
talking on her phone to friends and family. She also enjoyed watching TV
and her favorite show was “Gray’s Anatomy”. Her favorite activity was
spending time with family and friends and she loved being a Mom. Her
little boy, Rylan was “her whole world”.

Kaylen was preceded in death by grandfather, Ronald Bell.

In addition to her parents, father, Todd Bell (Amanda Bogle) of Hillsboro
and Marcie Myers (Christopher Glascoe) of Tullahoma, she is survived by
son, Rylan Kochans; brother, Brady Bell of Tullahoma; sisters, Bryleigh
Myers of Tullahoma, Ally Bell of Hillsboro and Kelcie Myers Drake
(Sebastian) of Nashville; grandparents, Donald and Linda Frazier of
Tullahoma; grandmother, Lynn Bell of Manchester; stepfather, David Myers of
Tullahoma; the father of her son, Charles “Chuckie” Kochans of Belvidere
and lots of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kaylen had Muscular Dystrophy and in lieu of flowers, the family has
requested donations be made in her honor to Tammy Jernigan – “Quality of

Funeral services for Mr. Wilmer Edward Anderson, age 72, of Christiana,
TN, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2019, with Bro.

Friday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Anderson passed from this life,
surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at his residence
in Christiana, TN.

Ed was born in Coffee Co., TN to the late Wilmer and Earline Anderson.
He retired from Manchester City Street Department after being a CD
Supervisor for over 35 years. Ed was a hard worker, and he loved being
outside. He was a farmer for many years owning cows, goats, and chickens
to name a few. Ed enjoyed watching wrestling and westerns. He was a
loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents Wilmer and Earline Anderson. He
is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sandra Anderson; two sons,
Marty Anderson his wife Tammy Anderson and Jeffrey and his wife Angela
Anderson; one brother, Danny and his wife Shirley Anderson; three
sisters, Rachel Goodwin, Marilyn Morton, and Melissa Gesell; several
grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous
nieces and nephews.

4/6/19 — Jimmy Matthew Pinegar

Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Matthew Pinegar, age 50, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Pinegar passed away at his residence on April 2, 2019.

Jimmy was born in Manchester, TN, the son of the late Matt Lee Pinegar and Sandra Pinegar, who survives. He was a salesman at LKQ and enjoyed fourwheeling and guns.

In addition to his father, Jimmy was also preceded in death by one brother, Jason Pinegar. He is survived by his loving wife, Goldina Pinegar; two brothers, Jerry (Cyndi) Pinegar and Jeff (Emily) Pinegar; one sister, Janice (Ike) Vanzant; his cats, Thomas and Princess Pinegar; and a lot of “rent-a-kids.”

4/7/19 — William David Lansford

Funeral services for Mr. William David Lansford, age 87, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 PM until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Lansford passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at his residence.

David was born in Sparta, TN, the son of the late Fredrick and Edwina Gaines Lansford. He retired as a mechanical engineer at AEDC, and then assumed a second career I FL, where he was also licensed. David served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a part time farmer and a pilot, serving as commander of Civil Air Patrol Manchester Cadet Squadron in the 1960s and 70s. David enjoyed fishing, tinkering, being outside, and was an avid reader. He either built or remodeled every home he ever owned.

In addition to his parents, David was also preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Kate Lansford; and three brothers, Edwin Lansford, Fredrick “Fred” Lansford, and Robert Lansford. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kathleen Lansford; three sons, William “David” (Linda) Lansford, John (Jean) Lansford, and Brian Lansford; one daughter, Cheryl Neal; two step children, Daniel Edwards and Stephanie Edwards; two grandchildren, Joshua Neal and Michael Lansford; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

4/4/19 — Alfred J. Pena, Jr.

Alfred J Pena Jr, of Tullahoma passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 at
Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 87 years. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 11 AM at St. Paul the
Apostle Catholic Church with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home from 10 – 10:45 AM.

A native of Chicago, he was the son of the late Alfred Pena and
the late Amelia Galvin. He was a U S Army veteran serving in the Korean War.
He was on the Chicago Police force and retired from the Cook County
Sheriff’s Department. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and
a past president of the Latinos of Berwyn “LOBO”. Mr. Pena loved his
family
and was a proud “Godfather”. He enjoyed having cookouts and parties with
his family and friends. He was always the “life of the party” and
enjoyed
music and dancing. He also enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Lora Faye Pena of Tullahoma; son,
Jack Smith of Cowan and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and other
family members living in Tennessee and Illinois.
