5/13/19 — Linda Lou Gaultney
Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Lou Gaultney, age 74, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother James Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Welker Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 AM until time of the service on Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Gaultney passed away on Thursday, May 09, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born in Manchester, TN, the daughter of the late Virgil and Etha Thomas. She was a homemaker and she attended of the Summitville United Methodist Church. Linda enjoyed fishing, sewing, watching wrestling with her granddaughters, absolutely loved to mow her yard, and most of all spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Gaultney; stepfather, Rob Jones. She is survived by one son, Ritchie Gaultney (Benita); one daughter, Penny Lemons (Mark); one sister, Thelma Green; four grandchildren, Mandy Bowling (Jeremy), Clint Gaultney, Cole Gaultney, and Zac Lemons; four great grandchildren, Macin Stacy, Shea Stacy, Zach Bowling, and Kendra Gaultney.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Foster, age 83, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Gnat Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Coffee County Funeral Chapel from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mrs. Foster passed away on Thursday, May 09, 2019 at Manchester Healthcare.
Mary was born in Pelham, TN, the daughter of the late James William and Mary Etta Magourik. She retired from UPS in Cleveland, Ohio after 35 years as a dispatcher. She attended Chapmans Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Pelham, TN. Mary enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Foster; two brothers, Kenneth Magourik and Joey Magourik. She is survived by one brother, J.W. Magourik (Dorothy); one sister- in- law, Shirley Magourik; her companion, Lucky; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

5/12/19 — Jean Alexander
Alexander, Jean, of Normandy, passed this life on Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 at NHC in Tullahoma at the age of 85. Mrs. Alexander was born in Belvidere to the late Amos and Callie Northcott Hannah and was a member of Wesley Heights United Methodist Church in Tullahoma. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband. Col. Frank Alexander Jr.; one sister, Francis Gail Hannah; and two brothers, Howard and Wayne Hannah. Mrs. Alexander is survived by three sons, Andy Alexander and his wife Suzanne of Normandy, Barry Alexander of Channelview, Texas and Craig Alexander of Normandy; one daughter, Deedie Alexander Felecia and her husband Joe of Channelview, Texas; two sisters, Thelma Hammers and Earlene Luttrell; three brothers, Buck Hannah (Janie), Cap Hannah (Lois) and Bobby Hannah (Linda); one grandson, Joshua Luke Alexander (Erica); and two great-grandchildren, Cole and County. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 12th, 2019 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00pm with the funeral to follow at 4:00pm with Phil Jones and Bruce Luttrell officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. 5/14/19 — Joyce Christine Cable
Cable, Joyce Christine, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, May 8th, 2019 at Brookdale Assisted Living at the age of 93. Mrs. Cable was born in Akron, Ohio to the late William and Claudia Smith Thrasher and was a member of Homeland Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Wayne O. Cable. Mrs. Cable is survived by four children, Cathy Cable of Tullahoma, Jeff Cable of Tullahoma, David Cable of Orlando and Sandy Payne of Tullahoma; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14th, 2019 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15th, 2019 at 11:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Brazier and James Cable officiating. A private burial will be held at Cothran Cemetery in Rover, Tennessee. 5/11/19 — Clifton Harrell
Graveside services for Mr. Clifton “Snip” Harrell, age 77, of Manchester, will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Asbury Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Manchester Funeral Home. Mr. Harrell passed from this life on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Tennova Healthcare – Harton in Tullahoma, TN.
Snip was born in Coffee County, TN, the son of the late Thomas Clinton and Annie Pearl Brown Harrell. He retired as a supervisor from Eden Industries after 20 years of service. Snip was an avid pool player, and he also enjoyed fishing and coon hunting.
In addition to his parents, Snip was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Betty Harrell; two brothers, Charlie and Bud Harrell; three sisters, Elizabeth Kennedy, Louise Vandergriff, and Della Cooper. He is survived by one son, Jeff Harrell; one daughter, Tammy (Jeff) Townsend; three brothers, James (Helen), T.C., and John Harrell; one sister, Lorene Rackley; two grandchildren Nathan (Emily) Townsend and Nikki (Will) Jacques; grandchildren, Hunter Jacques, Case Jacques, Eli Morgan, Emery Townsend, and Easton Townsend; and special friends, Ashley and Carter.

Private graveside services for Sara Ruth Kesler Ward, age 81, formerly of Chattanooga, TN, will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Tullahoma, TN, with Norman Roger McCullough officiating. Mrs. Ward passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Life Care Center of Tullahoma.
Sara was born on May 14, 1937, the daughter of the late James Preston and Lois Hearn Kesler. In earlier years, she was a lab technician at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.
In addition to her parents, Sara was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Ward; two sons, Barry and Rodney Ward; and two daughters, Vickie Ward Sims and Carol Ward Barbee. She is survived by one sister, Edith Joyce Kesler McCullough; six grandchildren, Jason Ward, Christopher Ward, Valerie Ward, Heather Ward, Daniel Barbee, and Amy Sandoval; three great grandchildren, Michael Jeffery
Barbee, Mariano Sandoval, and Uriah Ward; nephew, Norman Roger McCullough; and nieces, Sheila McCullough Waggoner and Amy McCullough Powers.

5/10/19 — Fredrick L. Litwin
Mr. Fredrick L. Litwin age 78 of Manchester, Tn passed away Tuesday May 7, 2019 at Raintree Manor in McMinnville, TN. Mr. Litwin was born August 13, 1940 to Louis and Sofie Koznecki Litwin. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Tamera Noble.
Mr. Litwin was a truck driver and an ordained minister. He served in the US Airforce in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
He is survived by his wife; Barbara Litwin, a son Timothy (Toni) Litwin of Manchester; Grandchildren Christopher Hicks and Michael Litwin of Manchester, and Randy Noble of Florida; two great grandchildren, Jade Hicks and Elizabeth Hicks of Manchester; two brothers Ronald Litwin and Louis Litwin of Illinois and sister Patricia Batagglia also of Illinois.
Funeral services will be at 9:00 Am Friday May 10th at Grace Baptist Church in Manchester. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM Thursday May 9th at Grace Baptist Church. Central Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

5/10/19 — Joann Trail
Joann Trail of Manchester passed this life on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at her
residence at the age of 72 years. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2
PM, Friday, May 10, 2019 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will
receive friends from 12 – 1:30 PM, Friday at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
A native of Cannon County, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and
Johnnie Bell Hall. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening and listening to
music. Her favorite singer was Elvis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Lois Hall
and Marie Milligan.
Mrs. Trail is survived by her husband, James Trail of Manchester;
daughters, Kristy Anderton and her husband, Travis and Jamie Trail, both of
Manchester; sisters, Helen Miller and Jerry Stiver, both of Manchester and
two grandchildren, Dominick Trail and Kaden Anderton.

Funeral services for Leonard C. “Buddy” Smead Jr. will be conducted Sunday, May 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with grandson Dustin Murray officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
Leonard C. “Buddy” Smead Jr. (Papa) was born April 10, 1927 in Camden, Arkansas. Leonard was the son of the late Leonard C. Smead and Lillian Williamson Smead. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Jane Todd Smead; a sister, Mary Smead Purifoy; brother-in-law, Louis B. Todd (Patricia); and niece, Sarah Purifoy. Mr. Smead is survived by his children, John C. “Jack” Smead (Patti) of Delray Beach, FL, and Ruth Smead “Toddy” Murray (Johnny) of McMinnville; grandchildren; Dustin Murray (Erin Stubblefield) of Manchester, Todd Murray (Diana) of Tullahoma, and April Field of Delray Beach FL; great grandchildren ; Ethan Abplanalp, Beau Murray, Jacy Kate Murray, Makayla Murray; one niece, Trish Todd Kelly (Sean) Brooklyn, NY; nephews; Jim Todd (Bonnie) of Nashville, Louis B. Todd III (Julie) of Atlanta, and Steve Purifoy of Benton, Ark; several great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Mr. Smead was a member for over 50 years of the John B. Garrett Masonic Lodge # 711 and Scottish Rite. Buddy was a veteran of the Army Signal Corp, 844th Signal Radio Ft. Gordon, GA. Korean War 1950-1952.
Buddy graduated high school in the class of 1945 in Camden, Arkansas. He was quite active in school, being Class President his Freshman and Sophomore years, and President of the student body his Senior year. He participated in track, football, and was the captain of his basketball team. After high school, he attended Henderson State College in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
In 1949 Leonard moved to Nashville, TN, and began a career with General Electric. After thirty years with the company he retired as regional sales manager in 1979. Upon retiring form G.E., he worked as sales manger for McQuiddy Office Supply, and as a manufacturer’s representative.
Buddy and Jane wanted to be near their grandsons, and moved to Manchester, TN. They had many happy years going to all the boys sporting events. Buddy was an avid golfer, enjoying many golf trips over the south with friends. He also collected music from the big band era of the 1940’s and 1950’s.
5/11/19–Doshia Earline Smith Lowhorn
Lowhorn, Doshia Earline Smith, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at Life Care Center at the age of 91. Doshia was born in Franklin County to the late Earl and Essie Miles Ogg. She attended grade school at the old Center Grove School in Franklin County, then high School in White House, Tennessee, as well as nursing school through the State of Tennessee. Doshia loved missions work and taught Sunday school to all ages. She was awarded the Teacher of the Year award in 1999 for the Tennessee Nazarene district. Doshia was a former member of Eastside Church of the Nazarene and currently attended and was a member of Mt. Vernon Church of the Nazarene. She also loved to quilt and had made one for all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Doshia also donated many of her quilts and would enter one every year in the Coffee County Fair. In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Smith; one son, Jerome Smith; three sisters, Willa Richard, Verna Jernigan and Frances Parisot; niece and nephew, Louise and Greg Simmons; one great-grandchild, Channing Kitts; and one uncle, Ben Ogg. She is survived by her husband, David Lowhorn; two sons, Tommy Smith and Alan Smith; grandchildren, Jeff Smith, Brandy Kitts, Ki Smith, Jessica Pendergrass and Matthew Sparks; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11th, 2019 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 9:00-10:00am with the funeral to follow at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
