7/21/19–L.C. Smith

L.C. SMITH, age 86, of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Tullahoma, departed this life on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. Mr. Smith as born in Fayetteville, Tenn., to the late Garland Rufus Smith and Beatrice Curtis Smith on September 4, 2019. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Smith was retired from Chicago Wire Craft in Chicago, Ill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard and enjoyed playing Billiards and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his son, Jason Crim. He is survived by his sons, Jack Smith of Cowan, Tenn., Eric Smith of Tullahoma, Tenn., and daughter Amanda Labello and husband, Jesse of Crestview, Fla., 11-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for 1:00-3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 21, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services, Services will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Bro. Pete Sirten, officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, Tenn., with family serving as pallbearers. Military honors will be bestowed.

7/17/19–Keith Alan Kinard

Keith Alan Kinard of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, July 15, 2019
at The Waters of Winchester at the age of 50 years. No services are
scheduled.

Keith, a native of Birmingham, was the son of the late Olis Ralph and
Carolyn Jackson Kinard Jr. He was an electrician and enjoyed hunting,
fishing, kayaking and collecting guns and knives.

He is survived by paternal grandmother, Dean Kinard of Gardendale, AL;
girlfriend, Glenda Walker of Tullahoma and sister, Kathy Short and her
husband, Mark of Panama City, FL.

7/18/19 — Charles William Baker, Sr.

Charles William Baker Sr. of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this earthly
life and into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on
Monday, July 15, 2019. He was 76 years old.

He was born at his Bakertown home in Moore County, Tennessee on August 7,
1942 to the late Madge Walker and late Lannie Baker. On December 28, 2004,
he married his best friend Mona Faye Chapman, who survives.

He lived life to the fullest and made everyday count. He loved people and
never met a stranger; rest assured, whenever speaking to him, he would
always have something witty, comical, or sarcastical-funny to say. That was
just Daddy.

He was a well-known Master Mason for the majority of his life, but was
probably more well-known for what he laid out in the kitchen, be it at his
own home or at the Barrel House BBQ. He truly was a jack of all trades. He
deeply loved all his family and his two dogs Patches and Peaches. He will
be tremendously missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is survived by his son, Chuck Baker of Lynchburg, TN, daughter,
Jacqueline (Harry) Conway of Tullahoma, TN, daughter, Crystal (Cale) Thomas
of Winchester, TN, daughter, Charsie Henley of McMinnville, TN, and
daughter, Shannon Roberts of Lynchburg, TN, sister, Dorothy (Charles)
Shelton of Winchester, TN, sister, Barbera Sisk of Fayetteville, TN,
brother, James Walker of Tullahoma, TN, sister, Brenda (Jim) Ramsey of
Flintville, TN, and sister, Debbie (Silvia) Walker of Tucson, AZ.
Grandchildren – Adam, Ashley and Hannah Baker of Lynchburg, TN Tori Rogers,
Destiny and Emma Grace Hill, all of Tullahoma, TN, Mason and Macie Lynn
Vonwert of Tullahoma, TN, Haley and Michael Whitsell of Lynchburg, TN and
Cody and Jesse Cates, Chris Gross, and Shawna Vaughn all of McMinnville,
TN, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by an infant son – Michael Eugene Baker, infant
sister Emily Walker, step-brother Elbert Walker, and step-father Jim
Walker. Funeral Services will be held Thursday July 18, 2019 at 2:00 pm
with burial services to follow at Lois Cemetery. The family will receive
friends on Wednesday evening, July 17, from 5pm-8pm at the Lynchburg
Funeral Home, with Brother Mike Awalt officiating.

In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you take a moment to hug the

7/18/19 — Gary Hamilton Freeze

Mr. Gary Hamilton Freeze, age 45, passed away
Monday, July 15, 2019 at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN with his family
by his side. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed
making flower arrangements, loved his family and was known to always bring
a laugh.

Gary was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelsey Marie Freeze;
his mother Pamela Yvonne Nobles Freeze; maternal grandfathers, Roy Hamilton
Nobles and Fred L. “Pete” Freeze; paternal grandparents, Melvin & Dorothy
Freeze.

Gary is survived by three daughters: Katlynn Yvonne Freeze,
Karleigh Faith (Blake) Freeze, Kristlynn Rose Freeze; granddaughter, Alivia
Dyanne Brown; father, Greg Freeze (Pam); maternal grandmother Jean Freeze;
3 brothers, Stan (Laura), Brad (Priscilla), Russ (Audra); nephews, Zach,
Jake, Wyatt & Kaden; niece Linley.

7/19/19 — Wilda M. Buckner Vanderpool

Wilda M. Buckner Vanderpool, 96 years old of Waverly, NY passed away.

She married the late Aaron Vanderpool in 1983, who predeceased her; along
with her parents, Elisha and Zora Buckner; her daughter, Faye Frunk; a son,
Tony Willis; and her brother, Lester Buckner.

Wilda is survived by her daughter, Linda and her husband, Wright Rantz of
Maryland; son, Wayne and Linda Willis of Louisiana; sister, Alta Jean Jones
of Tennessee; two step daughters, Sheila Bump and Lois Swackhammer of
Pennsylvania; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two
very special friends, Jerry and Helen Ousterout of Florida  ; and a dear
friend, Marilyn, that set and read to her at the nursing home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the Central Funeral Home Chapel
with Beth Ezell officiating with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Memorial

7/18/19 — Nancy Jo Lindquist-Graham

Mrs. Nancy Jo Lindquist-Graham, 73, passed away
Sunday July 14, 2019 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma. She was born in
Sterling, IL on May 2, 1946 to Robert Avery Adams and Mary Jane Hardy Adams
who preceded her in death along with her son, Jason Robert Lindquist;
brother, Kenneth Adams.

She was a member of the Manchester Quitling Club, Foothills Crafts and the
Lapidary Club in Tullahoma. She enjoyed, gardening, decorating, crafts,
art, quilting and playing with her companion dog, B.J. Nancy was retired
from Cracker Barrel restaurant where she had worked for 20 years.

She is survived by her life partner, Joseph Heintz; son, David Bradley
Lindquist, Savannah, GA; brother, Jeff Adams, Fairfield, CA; sister, Vicki
Adams, Fairfield, CA; grand daughter, Mavis Elaine Lindquist.

7/18/19 — Pastor Frank Bell

Pastor Frank J. Bell, 77, passed away Saturday
July 13, 2019 at the Grace Baptist Church in Manchester which he had
Pastored for over 50 Years. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on October
11, 1941 to William Houston Bell Sr. and Beatrice Smoot Bell who preceded
him in death along with his brother, William Houston “Bud” Bell Jr.

He was a US Army veteran serving as a X-Ray Technichian in Germany. He had
a doctorate degree in Theology from Covenant College in Chattanooga,
Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Smith Bell; son, Jeremy (Angie) Bell,
Tullahoma; daughters, Bethany (Dean) Silver, Kathleen, GA, Consetta
Woosley, Tullahoma; grandchildren, Emma, Emily, Andrew, Breanna and Blake;
brothers, Chuck (Jeanette) Bell, Kenneth (Noblene) Bell and Gary (Judy)
Bell; sister, Judy (Arlan) Casey; several loving nieces and nephews;
daughters he raised as his own, Kandi and Cheryl Karell; and a son he
raised as his own, Jeremy Clark.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Grace Baptist Church with Bro.
Bobby Bates officiating with burial to follow in the Summitville Cemetery

7/16/19 — Vine Ozell Jones

Funeral services for Mrs. Vine Ozell Jones, age 83, of Beechgrove, TN, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ragsdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, July 15, 2019, at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones passed from this life on July 13, 2019, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Ozell was born in Coffee County to the late Jim and Ida Willford. Ozell was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family and flower garden. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Ozell is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Leighton Glenn Jones; two sons, Jimmy Wayne and George Jackson Jones; brothers, Earl and Robert Willford and Marvin Walden; sisters, Hester Qualls, Lorene Haggard, Lily May Baltimore. She is survived by her three sons, David (Patty) Jones, Paul (Lorrie) Jones, and Normen (Desiree) Jones; three daughters, Brenda (Wayne) Majors, Anne (Mitchel) Green, and Cindy (Billy) Beene; daughter of my heart, Nicole Ramirez; twenty-one grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

David D. Gulley

David D Gulley of Belvidere, passed this life on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at
his residence at the age of 49 years. Memorial services will be held at a
later date.

David, a native of Florida was the son of Sandi Sutter of Houston, Texas. He
was born deaf and blind but completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (RIT) in Rochester, NY.
He worked for many years in Kansas City for the Federal Post Office in the
Federal Building.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by step-father, Phil Dugger of
Belvidere and sister, Jamie Metcalf and her husband, Shawn of Belvidere.

7/17/19 — JoAnn Riddle

JoAnn Riddle of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at her
residence at the age of 77 years. Funeral Services are scheduled for
Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with
burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive
friends on Tuesday evening, July 16, from 5 -8 PM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home.

JoAnn was a native of Tullahoma. She was a member of the Westside Church
of the Nazarene but attended Mt. Vernon Church of the Nazarene. She loved
to travel and going places. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and
playing cards, especially rummy and rook. She loved being with family,
especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great
granddaughter. She and her loving husband, G L Riddle would be celebrating
their 54th wedding anniversary on July 19th.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, James David and Edna Wiseman;
father, Delbert Conley; son, Timothy Dale Scivally and grandson, Patrick
Buckner.

In addition to her husband, G L Riddle of Tullahoma, she is survived by
daughters, Sherry Ferrell and her husband, David of Lynchburg, Marticia
Drisko and her husband, Jim of Cowan and Melissa Alimilla of Pensacola, FL;
twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and one great great
granddaughter.
