8/8/19 — Frankie Lane Hill

Frankie Lane Hill, age 62 of Hillsboro, TN passed away Sunday August 4, 2019.  He was a self-employed painter.
He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd Hawkins and Dorothy Hawkins and his wife Shelia Diane Hill, and his brother, Johnnie Hill.

He is survived by daughters Amy Hill of Nashville and April Hill of Smyrna, TN; brothers Randy Hill, VA, and Jason Hill of Manchester; two sisters Penny Hill, Manchester and Monica Housand of Florida.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday August 7th. Funeral services will be held Thursday August 8th at 1:00 PM at Central Funeral Home with burial following in the Barton Cemetery in Hillsboro, TN. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital in his honor.
Minimum in all papers please.

8/2/19 — James N. Painter

James N. Painter of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, August 2, 22019
at Tennova Harton Hospital at the age of 72.  No services are scheduled.

A native of Tullahoma, he was the son of the late James Audrey and Olyethia
Christine Solomon Painter. He was a Barber and enjoyed searching for
bargains at the flea markets.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Tonya
Painter.

8/4/19 — Buford Floyd

Funeral services for Mr. Buford Floyd, age 95, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ralph Hart officiating.  Burial will follow in Welker Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2:00PM until 3:00PM on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mr. Floyd passed away on August 2, 2019 at Unity Medical Center.

 

Buford was born in Beechgrove, TN, the son of the late William and May Floyd. He was a US Army Veteran serving in World War II. He was a laborer at Batesville Casket Company where he later retired from. Buford was a member of the New Union Church of Christ. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. He was tender hearted, good natured, always kind, always with a smile, loyal to his family. Caregiver of his farm animals, and the best tomato and corn grower. He watched Wheel of Fortune daily, not to figure out the puzzles but only because he liked to see people win. He showed us all how to love and never give up.  He embodied family, love, and commitment no mater how hard life can be.

 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Lexie Floyd; four brothers, Charlie, Willis, Eldridge, and Oren; two sisters, Beulah Crocker and Sylvia Robertson. He is survived by three sons, Dale Floyd (Ann), Keith Floyd, and Dennis Floyd (Juanita); one daughter, Debbie Brinkley (Coy); one sister, Lorine Bratcher; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

8/10/19 — Joe Michael Evans

Joe Michael Evans of Lynchburg, passed this life on Thursday, August 1,
2019 at Southern Tennessee Regional Hospital at the age of 65. A
Celebration of Life Service is planned for Mike Evans at Tullahoma High
School on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 5-7 PM. Attendees are encouraged
to dress casually (in UT gear if they have it).

A native of Shelbyville, he was the son of the late J. C. and Orra Mae
Damron Evans. He was a U S Navy Veteran and a member of New Harmony Baptist
Church. He was also a member of the Tennessee Squire Association and the
Volunteers State Squires. He was a janitor at Tullahoma High School and
loved his job. He enjoyed being around the kids and helping teach some
“life skills”. He also enjoyed playing Trivia on Thursday nights at Las
Fajitas in Manchester with his team the “Possum Fighters”. In addition, he
was an avid TN Vols Football fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Gary Edens
and sister, Regina Edens.

Mr. Evans is survived by his loving wife, Earlene Evans of Lynchburg; sons,
Matthew Evans and his wife, LeAnne of Hillsboro and David Evans and his
wife, Keri of Lynchburg; daughter, Jenny Southworth and her husband, Lance
of Lebanon; sisters, Linda Bohanan of Tullahoma, Terri Bailey and her
husband, Greg of Tullahoma and Sandra Sullins and her husband, Stan of
Woodbury and grandchildren, Ryan Evans, Giovanna Mangino-Southworth,
Ashley, Olivia, Will and Sam Evans.

8/6/19 — Leon Richardson

Leon Richardson of Tullahoma, passed this life on Thursday, August 1, 2019
at Tennova Harton Hospital at the age of 70. Funeral Services are scheduled
for 2 PM, Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with
burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends on
Tuesday beginning at 12 PM.

A native of Bedford County, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Maudine
Richardson. He enjoyed playing bass and flat guitar and fishing. His
favorite time was spent with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty
Elizabeth Merritt Richardson; son, Robert Lee Brandon and sisters, Edna,
Berdie and Joyce Ann Richardson and Lois Smotherman.

Mr. Richardson is survived by sons, Christopher Lee Richardson of
Tullahoma, Timmy Brandon of Tullahoma, Jim Brandon and his wife, Lori of
Mulberry and Dale Brandon of Tullahoma; daughters, Christina Carter and
Tiffany Kinard, both of Tullahoma; brothers, James and Rayburn Richardson,
both of Shelbyville; nineteen grandchildren and eighteen great
grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Wayne Perry England, age 91, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Manchester Funeral Home. Mr. England passed away on August 1, 2019 at Unity Medical Center.

Wayne was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Thomas and Blanche England. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in World War II. Wayne retired as a night auditor from Colonial Court. He was of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed watching the Price is Right, fishing, golfing, football, and most of all spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by one brother, Tom England; two sisters, Millie Frank and Daisy England. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary England; two sons, Bruce England (Connie) and Butch England (Janice); Two Daughters, Carmen Savage and Caren Clark; one sisters, Rose England; 8 grandchildren, Brandy Rutherford (Joseph Isenhart), Brittney Szugyi (Mike), Whittney England (Denzel Reagan), Josh Clark, Courtney Savage, Zack Savage, Ben England, and Michael Scalise; six great grandchildren.

Gatona Leighann Stephens-Daniel, age 24, of Tullahoma passed away Tuesday July 30th, 2019. A native of Tullahoma, she was preceded in death by her mother Linda Kay Stephens, her aunt Dionnia Slythia Martin. Gatona is survived by her daughter Bella Kay Stephens. Her father Larry Joe Daniel. Her sister Kelsea Joyce Baker and her brothers Joseph Drew Baker and Jeremy Ryan Tate. Her grandparents Bonnie and Marlin Bruce Stephens of Manchester, TN., Frances “Penny” Alexander of Tullahoma, Thomas Lewis Alexander of Mulberry, and Jo Ann Hulsey of Tullahoma, TN. Her Aunt’s Carissia Daniel Johnson, Lathomas “LA” Alexander of Tullahoma and Melissia “Missy” Hice of Manchester, and her uncle Georgio Alexander of Jackson, Tn. And a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday August 3, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Sunday August 4, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. 8/3/19 — Rick Wayne Sisk

Rick Wayne Sisk of Manchester, passed this life on Wednesday July 31, 2019
at his residence at the age of 47. “He went home to be with the Lord”

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 2 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial
Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 5 –

A native of Rochester, NY, he was the son of Jerry and Marquitta Leinenbach
Sisk of Manchester. He attended the Bible Baptist Church in Murfreesboro
and enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and camping.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by brother, Jason Sisk and his
wife, Tawnya of Murfreesboro; nephews, Brian and Alex Sisk and several
aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. Steven W. McKinney, 48, passed away
unexpectedly Wednesday July 31, 2019 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester,
Tennessee. He was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on August 14, 1970.

He was a HVAC Technician employed by Shelton Heat and Air Conditioning.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gerri Lumbley McKinney; niece,
Morgan McKinney.

He is survived by his father, Walter E. McKinney; brother, Scott E.
(Stephanie) McKinney; sister, Melanie (Gary) Scott; nephew, Zachary Barlett
McKinney; nieces, Shelbi and Hayley McKinney.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the Central funeral home
chapel with Minister Larry Bradford officiating with burial to follow in

8/2/19 — Deborah Louise Benson

Deborah Louise Benson of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, July 30,
2019 at Vanderbilt Hospital at the age of 66. Graveside Services are
scheduled for Friday, August 2, 2019 at 2 PM at New Center Grove Church
Cemetery in Estill Springs. The family will receive friends from 12 PM
until 1:45 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

A native of Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Wyatt and Aline
Fletcher Elliott. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, taking rides in the car and
being with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy
Dale Benson; brothers, Johnny and Ray Elliott and sister, Daisy Musser.

She is survived by son, Cody Benson and his wife, Michelle of Tullahoma;
daughter, Kayla Benson and her husband, Dylon Winebrenner of Winchester;
brothers, Bobby Elliott and his wife, Susan, Robert Elliott and Billy
Elliott, all of Estill Springs; four grandchildren, Leighton Benson,
Hunter, Maysin and Waylon Winebrenner and one grandchild on the way.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in her honor
to Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
