8/13/19 — Sheila Annette McMillen

Ms. Sheila Annette McMillen, 70, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Horizon Health and Rehab Center in Manchester. She was born in Akron, Ohio on June 22, 1949 to Grady and Mary Davis McMillen who preceded her in death.
Ms. McMillen worked as a talent agent in the country music industry prior to her retirement. She is survived by her daughters, Heather Lee Pennington of Tullahoma and Hannah Elizabeth Pennington of Manchester; brother, Grady McMillen of Dickson TN. and sister Kerry Duke of Manchester; 2 grandchildren Gisselle Steele and Kyro Steele of Manchester; and close friend Ken Jones of Manchester.
Funeral services for family and close friends will be 2:00 PM Tuesday August 13, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. 8/11/19 — Carolyn Krebs Floyd

Mrs. Mary Carolyn Krebs Floyd, 85, passed away Tuesday August 6, 2019 at her home in Manchester, Tennessee.  She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 28, 1934 to Charles and Elizabeth Myers Krebs who preceded her in death along with her husband Dewey Alvin Floyd and son, Dewey Kevin Floyd.

She worked as a department manager at WalMart in Manchester prior to retirement
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Gary) Johnson; sons, Michael Nelson (Janet) Floyd, Patrick (Vicky) Floyd of Manchester and son Joseph Floyd of Hillsboro, TN; brother, Ronald Krebs Sr. and sisters Phyllis Floyd and Joyce Kerlin all of Baltimore, Maryland,; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

8/13/19 — James Michael Moore

James Michael Moore of the Booneville Community passed this life on Friday,
August 9, 2019 at his residence at the age of 47. Funeral Services are
scheduled for 2 PM, Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Lynchburg Funeral Home with
burial to follow at Booneville Cemetery. The family will receive friends
on Tuesday, beginning at 12 PM.

Mr. Moore, a native of Nashville was the son of the late James Danny Moore
and Gayla Patterson Moore of Booneville. He was raised in Nashville and
graduated from Glen Cliff High School. He was a U S Air Force veteran and
a member of Booneville Church of Christ. He enjoyed playing golf, farming,
construction and remodeling projects.

In addition to his mother, Gayla Moore of Booneville, he is survived by
several aunts, uncles, cousins and many golfing buddies.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made in

8/11/19 — Lawrence Arthur Pressley

Lawrence Arthur Pressley of Manchester, passed this life on Friday, August
9, 2019 at his residence at the age of 63. Funeral Services are scheduled
for 2 PM, Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with
burial to follow at Summitville Cemetery. The family will receive friends
on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home from 5 – 8 PM.

Mr. Pressley was the son of the late James Edward and Bobbie Faye Davis
Pressley. He was a U S Air Force veteran and enjoyed listening to music
and singing Karaoke songs. He collected old watches and stamps and enjoyed
tinkering with cars. He also enjoyed watching old movies and playing
cards, especially Rook and Poker. Lawrence also had a “Sweet Tooth” and
loved Little Debbie Snack Cakes which he loved to share with his
grandchildren. His favorite time was spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Janice
Marlene Castillo.

Mr. Pressley is survived by his wife, Daphne Hollar Pressley of Manchester;
sons, Jeremiah Davis Pressley of Manchester, Kyle Robert Pressley and his
wife, Autumn of Christiana and James Morgan Pressley and David Wyatt
Pressley, both of Manchester; daughters, Tessa Renee’ Pressley Harris and
her husband, Joshua of Tullahoma and Sage Pressley Bradshaw and her
husband, Tyler of Estill Springs; brothers, Charles Pressley and his wife,
Diane of Manchester, James Marlen Pressley and his wife, Vonnie of Calhoun,
GA, Michael Pressley and his wife, Patricia of Manchester, Mitchell
Pressley and his wife, Sherry of Humble, TX and Robert Pressley and his
wife, Sandra of Winchester; sisters, Edna Smith and her husband, Roy of

8/9/19 — Peggy Gravitt Mankin

Funeral services for Peggy Gravitt Mankin, age 77, of Manchester, will be conducted on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 2 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Ray Marcrom officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Sunday, August 11, 2019 prior to service from 12 PM until 2 PM. Mrs. Mankin passed away on August 7, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.

Peggy was born on May 5, 1942 to the late M.C. and Mildred Bradshaw Gravitt in Chattanooga, TN. She retired from her job of 28 years teaching Cosmetology at Coffee County Central High School, where she helped many of her students begin their career. She was also the owner of Total Concepts Hair Design. Peggy enjoyed reading and traveling, but above all else, she loved spending time with her family. She had a generous heart and always encouraged everyone to follow their dreams no matter where, or what you came from.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, John D. Mankin, and her brother, Jerry Gravitt. Peggy is survived by her daughters, Angela (Mike) Sellars, Jennifer (Marty) Henegar; grandchildren, Whitney (Nick) Harrell, Kaitlyn (Bryan) McAdams, Jerett ( Jackie) Zeigler, Hayden Zeigler, Rachel Henegar, and Jonathan Henegar; great-granchildren, Brylyn McAdams, Madison McAdams, and Hayes Harrell; brothers, Don Gravitt, Rick (Helga) Gravitt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the care and compassion shown by McArthur Manor and Hospice Compassus.

8/9/19–Ricky Medley Arnold

Mr. Ricky Medley Arnold, 65, passed away Monday
August 5, 2019 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro,
Tennessee. He was born in Manchester, Tennessee on March 11, 1954 to
Ridley Arnold and Ruth Medley Arnold who preceded him in death along with
his brother, Ralph E. Arnold; sister, Dahlia J. Sisk.

He had worked at the Pajama Factory, Park Industries and the Manchester
Speedway before his health declined.

He is survived by his daughter, Ruthie (Marcus) Arnold-Rogers; son, Jeffery
(Amy) Baltimore; brother, Steve (Cathy) Arnold; sister-in-law, Kathy
Arnold; 3 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 5:00 PM Friday August 9, 2019 in the funeral home
chapel with Minister Danny Anderson officiating with burial to follow in

8/8/19 — Ann Plemons Jett

Ann Plemons Jett, 83, a native of Cleveland, TN, went to her heavenly home
on Monday, August 5, 2019. For the past five years, she lived in
Manchester, TN, near her family. She was born on September 3, 1935, the
daughter of the late Pless and Amy Plemons.

Mrs. Jett was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over thirty years who had a
gift for helping others. She worked hard and most of all made people laugh.
She was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church in Cleveland for many years
and enjoyed attending church activities with her many church friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Donald
Jett; son, Terry M. Davis; brother, Robert Plemons and sister, Virginia
Haynie. She leaves behind one son, Greg Davis and his wife, Rhonda of
Raleigh, NC; daughter, DeAnna Davis of Tullahoma; brother, Clifford Plemons
and his wife, Jo of Cleveland; grandchildren, Charly Godfrey and her
husband, Daniel of Spring Hope, NC, Libby Sansom and her husband, Paul and
Nicole Ramirez, both of Tullahoma, Rachel House of Raleigh, NC, Amanda
Chick and her husband, Josh and Katie Clark and her husband, Dave, both of
Middlesex, NC; thirteen great grandchildren and many extended family
members and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service is planned for Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 1
PM at the Michigan Avenue Baptist Church, 2741 Benton Pike, Cleveland, TN,
37323. A visitation reception will be held in the fellowship hall following
the service. Flowers are more than welcome, but contributions may be sent

8/10/19 — Bennie Ring Garrick

Garrick, Bennie Ring of Tullahoma passed this life on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family at the age of 72. Mr. Garrick was born in Manchester to the late Bennie H. and Geneva Ring Garrick. Tullahoma has always had a special place in Bennie’s heart. During his time at Tullahoma High School, Bennie was the president of his class his sophomore, junior, and senior years, and was elected Mr. THS his senior year. After graduating from THS, Mr. Garrick served his country proudly as a member of the United States Air Force in the Vietnam era. Over the years, Bennie became a well known and loved face in the Tullahoma community through his 42 years at Trader’s Bank, where he worked as a Loan Officer, Board Member, and former President, and his involvement with numerous community service organizations. Bennie served as a Commander with the American Legion, a member of Big Brothers, The Tullahoma Rotary Club, former president of Lakewood Golf and Country Club, and was a Jack Daniels Squire. Bennie loved his alma mater, and continually supported and loved watching Tullahoma High School Football. He loved watching and playing football, golfing, fishing, hunting, skiing, trivia, and serving the community he loved. Mr. Garrick is survived by his life partner, Audrey Gail Shasteen; one son, Jay Wheeler Garrick; one stepson, Dustin Bouldin; one stepdaughter, Erin Schwartz and her husband Adam; one sister, Dorothy Tucker and her husband Carl; One nephew, Carl Tucker III; one niece, Stacey Hall; and grandchildren, Aidan, Ashton, and Noah Jones, and Alan Schwartz Johnson. Visitation for Mr. Garrick will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5:00-8:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jack Hice and John Olive officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. 8/7/19–Linda Sue Grogan

Linda Sue Grogan passed this life on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the
Manchester Health Care Center at the age 74. No services are scheduled.

Linda, the daughter of the late John and Mary Wilson Bradford was born in
Chicago. He retired from Parker Hannifin. She enjoyed sewing, knitting,
coloring and reading. She loved the mountains, wolves and anything Native
American.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Jerry
Bradford and sister, Debbie Bradford. She is survived by sons, John Grogan
and his wife, Kimberly of Tullahoma and William Grogan of Greenfield, TN;
brother, John Bradford and his wife, Nancy of Bolingbrook, IL and three
grandchildren, Jasmyn Yarbrough and Kaitlyn and Christy Grogan.

8/8/19 — James Everett Riddle

Funeral services for Mr. James Everett Riddle, age 99, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Manchester Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Davenport officiating.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.  Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.  Mr. Riddle passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.

Mr. Riddle was born in Elora, TN, the son of the late John and Mae Smoot Riddle.  He served his country in the United States Army during World War II in the South East Pacific Campaign and was part of the occupied forces in Japan.  Everett owned and operated a trucking business in Manchester for over 60 years.  Everett loved watching tractor pulls, westerns, Sunday afternoon drives, and authentic Hawaiian music.  He was a hard worker, but when he did slow down, he enjoyed sitting on the porch, listening to the whippoorwills.

In addition to his parents, Everett was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Lynona “Blondie” Riddle; three brothers, R.I. “Buck” Riddle, J.D. Riddle, and Jack Riddle; three sisters, Henrietta Riddle, Velma Officer, and Clayton Thomas; and one grandchild, Jason Everett Alford.  He is survived by two sons, James (Jennifer) Riddle, Jr. and Richard (Christy) Riddle; three daughters, Bonnie (William “Eddie”) Green, Belinda (Mike) Phillips, and Bonita (Chris) Jones; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 5 great, great grandchildren.
