9/13/19 — Eva Alela Brandon-Bass

Eva Alela Brandon-Bass of Cowan, passed this life on Monday, September 9,
2019 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center at the age of 63. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2019 at 2 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Montgomery-Cowan
Cemetery in Cowan. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 AM.

Eva, a native of Oneida, TN, was the daughter of the late James and Nancy
Jennings Davis. She attended the Roarks Cove Church. She enjoyed watching
soap operas and hunting for bargains at thrift shops and yard sales. Her
favorite times were spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James,
Willard and Willie Davis and sisters, Glenna Cochran and Betty Jean Davis.

Mrs. Bass is survived by her husband, Edward Bass of Cowan; son, Jeremiah
Brandon (Teanna) of Manchester; sisters, Leona Musser of Cincinnati, OH,
Lorene Thompson, Lela Thompson (Ray), Thelma Means (Charles), Patricia Lou
Cooper (Ray) and Effie Monroe, all of Manchester and grandchildren, Payton
and Riley.

Bernice Lee Frazier

Bernice Lee Frazier, age 81, of Manchester, TN, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Bernice was born in Coffee County, TN, the son of the late Robert and Myrtle Johnson Frazier. He was a self-employed construction worker and was of the Pentecostal faith. He served his country in the United States Army during the Panama Canal War. Bernice enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a very social gentleman, who enjoyed talking with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bernice was also preceded in death by his wife, Joann Frazier; and one sister, Marie Adams. He is survived by two sons, John Robert (Elizabeth) Frazier and Jason Rackley; two daughters, Melinda Nelson and Debbie (LeRoy) Walls; one brother, Darris (Janice) Frazier; one sister, Cathey Newman; grandchildren, Latisha Walls, Lacey Burns, John McPeak, Justin McPeak, Rebecca Nelson, Katlyn Frazier, Kristina Frazier, Karly Frazier, Jonathan Frazier, Courtney Rackley, Aaliyah Baker, Jalynn Rackley, and Xavier Rackley; several great grandchildren, cousins, and other extended family.

9/14/19 — Sean Patrick Blanton

Sean Patrick Blanton of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday, September
7, 2019 at the age of 27. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday,
September 14, 2019 at 7 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. The family
will receive friends beginning at 5 PM.

Sean was born in Murfreesboro, TN on November 16, 1991, the son of Riley
Blanton and Lola Sibert-Blanton. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking,
canoeing, hunting, fishing and riding dirt bikes. He also enjoyed playing
the guitar.

Sean was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Billy Joe Wilder;
paternal grandfather, David Blanton; paternal grandmother, Mabel Mae
Blanton; aunts, Mary, Linda and Patty; and nephew, Elih Zachery Steven
Blanton.

In addition to his parents, Riley Blanton and Lola Sibert-Blanton, of
Tullahoma, he is survived by maternal grandmother, Marbeth Wilder of
Mountain City, TN; brothers, Michael Sibert of Manchester, KY, Ryan Blanton
of Tullahoma, Daniel Blanton and his wife, Amanda of Tullahoma and Coty
Sadler of TN; sisters, Amanda Byars and her husband, Nathan of Greenville,
SC and Celeste Ward and her husband, Keith of Chattanooga; uncles Mike
Wilder of Mountain City, TN, Steve Wilder and his wife, Rita of Alaska,
Billy Wilder and his wife, Asta of IL, Patrick and David Blanton, both of
CO and nieces and nephews, Chloe, Jameson, Ayden, Rylan, Cameron, Benjamin,
Elizabeth and Levi.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Sean
Patrick Blanton Scholarship Fund at Ascend Federal Credit Union, Tullahoma

Tracy Lynn Hullett of Beechgrove, passed this life on Sunday, September 8,
2019 at her residence at the age of 53. Funeral Services are scheduled for
Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with
burial to follow at Ragsdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends
beginning at 12 PM.

Tracy, a native of Elkhart, IN was the daughter of the late, Robert and
Dorothy Poff Liddiard. She enjoyed reading, watching soap operas and
spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Tiffany
Ann Hullett.

Mrs. Hullett is survived by her husband, Terry Hullett of Beechgrove; son,
Robert Alan Hullett (Stephanie) of Manchester; daughters, Toshia Caravita
(JoAnna) of MA and Cassie Hullett (Cody Lendley) of Tullahoma;
mother-in-law, Barbara Tucker (Billy) of Manchester; sisters, Cathy Gesell
(Mark) of Manchester and Sandra Green of Nashville; good friend, Georgie
Darnell of Manchester; four grandchildren plus one on the way and many
uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Judy E. Johnson

Judy E. Johnson of Winchester, passed this life on Sunday, September 8,
2019 at Elk River Health and Rehab in Winchester at the age of 77. A
Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled at a later date.

Judy, a native of Crookston, Minnesota, was the daughter of the late Vernon
and Evelyn Sorenson Helm. She was an English teacher at Mission College in
Santa Clara, CA. After retirement she and her husband, Wayne, relocated to
Middle Tennessee to be near family. She loved teaching and reading. She
also enjoyed going to the beach and watching the fishing boats come in
while living in California.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Daniel Jon
Bevans and brother, Vern Helm.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Wayne Johnson of Winchester; son,
Gary J. Bevans and his wife, Gina of Decherd; daughter, Lisa Adair and her
husband, Jeff of Murfreesboro and three grandchildren.

Deborah N. Taylor of Tullahoma passed this life on Saturday, September 7,
2019 at her residence at the age of 68. Funeral Services are scheduled on
Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 2 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home with burial
to follow at Smith Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on
Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the funeral home from 5 – 8 PM.

Deborah, a native of Shelbyville, was the daughter of the late Harold and
Dimple Virginia Farris Burgess. She was a caregiver and loved taking care
of everyone. Her favorite times were spent with her family. She enjoyed
going to the ocean and the mountains. She attended both Rutledge Falls
Baptist Church and the Christian Lighthouse Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Kenneth Taylor; brothers, Hal and Carter Lee Burgess and sisters, Carlotta
“Dinky” Hill, Susan Anderson and Marlene Branch.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by sons, Dawayne Taylor and his wife, Rhonda of
Tullahoma, Timmy Taylor and his wife, Alisa of Normandy and Shannon Taylor
of Tullahoma; daughter, Laura Taylor of Tullahoma; brothers, Ronald Burgess
of Normandy and Roger Dale Burgess of Winchester; grandchildren, Jessica,
Amanda, Kelsey, Mackenzie, Brianna, Raeleigh and Justice Taylor, Cody and
Shelby Dodson and Christian Banks and great grandchildren, Raelynn and

9/10/19 — Margaret Amacher Tucker

Tucker, Margaret Amacher, of Tullahoma, was born August 29th, 1927 and was called home on Friday, September 6th, 2019. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Gordon Amacher and Hattie Lou Stovall Amacher of Estill Springs; her husband of 56 years, Howard Clay Tucker; her granddaughter, Kourtney Michelle Thompson; and her brothers, Charles Kenneth Amacher and Leon Amacher. She is survived by three brothers, James Earl Amacher and his wife Virginia of Lynchburg, Lenn Amacher and his wife Carolyn of Winchester, and T.W. Amacher of Winchester; one son, Howard Kenneth Tucker of Tullahoma; one daughter, Cynthia Tucker Thompson and her husband Tony of Tullahoma; granddaughter, Jessica Tucker Archer and her husband Rich; and 2 great-grandchildren, Annabel Archer and Korbin Jack Thompson. Margaret was a home maker and businesswoman and was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church for more than 50 years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 12:00-3:00pm with the funeral to immediately follow at 3:00pm with Bro. Jack Hice officiating. Interment will follow at Lynchburg City Cemetery. 9/13/19 — Barbara Lou O’Briant

Miss Barbara Lou O’Briant, 87, formerly of
Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away Friday September 6, 2019 at the home of
her sister in Manchester, Tennessee. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee
on October 12, 1931 to John Tucker O’Briant and Beartice Aurelia Carey
O’Briant who preceded her in death.

She was retired X-Ray Technician. She was a member of the Parkway Baptist
Church in Knoxville, TN, member for 59 years and Past-Matron of The
Knoxville Chapter #69 Order of the Eastern Star, DAR for 15 years. She was
also a past president of the Radiological Society.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Cecelia and Jerry Roberts
of Manchester; nieces, Lou Ann Roberts, Atlanta, GA and Carey Ruth (Cory
Watson) Roberts; great nieces, AnnaBelle Watson-Roberts and Janet
Watson-Roberts, Big Cove, Alabama; cousins, Mary Muecke Seaman and Family,
Charlotte Ann Lees and Family, June and Jimmy Marie.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday September 13, 2019 in the Central
Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Brenton Cox officiating. Burial will be 1:00

9/9/19 — Gary Lee Scott

Gary Lee Scott, 47 born March 27, 1972 to Leroy Scott and Janet “Geraldine”
Wolffe, was called home on September 5, 2019. Gary loved the Lord and
never shied away from the word. He was the life of the party and loved
cooking for others enjoyment. He could smoke a mean rib and was an avid
Alabama fan (ROLL TIDE). He loved and cherished his family furiously. He
was proceeded in death by his father Leroy Scott, nephew Darnell Patton,
mother- in- law Gerri McKinney and brother-in-law Steve McKinney.

He leaves to cherish his memory is loving wife Melanie Scott, children Dre
Nard, Cowan TN, Alexis Scott, Marselis Scott, Malia Scott all of
Manchester, Tn, Malik Scott and Hayley McKinney of Hillsboro, Tn. Brothers;
Leroy (Latonya) Scott, Winchester, TN. Patrick (Kumisha) Fearn, Decatur,
AL. Sisters; Tina Patton, Sherry Tate, and DeShonda (Tyler) Jackson all of
Winchester, TN. Mother Janet (Mark) Wolffe, Winchester, TN. Five
grandchildren; Addy, Quandale, Isaac, Kamari, and Ariah. A host of nieces

9/8/19 — Larry Clark Maxwell

Graveside services for Mr. Larry Clark Maxwell, age 73, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at Blanton’s Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Maxwell passed from this life at his residence on Thursday, September 5, 2019.

Larry was born in Warren County, TN to the late Grady and Josie Maxwell. He was a Sargent in the United States Air Force before going to work for AT&T. Larry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Larry is also preceded in death by one brother, Prentice Maxwell. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Frances Maxwell; one son, Brian Maxwell (Chandra); one daughter, Mary Smith (Shawn); two brothers, Grady (Mary Ann) and Ted (Margie Walker); four grandchildren, Kiersten Maxwell, Karenna Maxwell, Bryson Maxwell, and Hunter Ferrell.
