12/10/19 — Kent E. Owen

Kent E. Owen, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Thursday, December 5, 2019
at his residence at the age of 55. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00
AM, Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial
to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on
Monday, December 9, 2019 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home from 6 – 8 PM.

 Kent was born in Royal Oak, Michigan, the son of the late Marilyn JoAnn
Back Owen and Lowell Terry Owen of Arizona.  Kent was raised in Kentucky,
Alabama and Arizona.  He loved the Lord and was a member of the Church of
God of Prophecy of Tullahoma. He enjoyed volunteering and counseling at the
Shepherd’s House in Tullahoma. He was an avid University of Alabama
Football fan and enjoyed music.  He also was a “History Buff”.

In addition to his father, he is survived by wife, Tina Holman Owen of
Tullahoma; son, Michael Owen (Molly) of New York; step-son, Christopher
Holman (Tabitha) of Tullahoma; step-daughter, Angelia Watson (Bobby) of
Tullahoma; brother, Terry Owen of Arizona; grandchildren, Jessica and
Brennon Watson, KeYante’ Holman, Cassandra and Madison Walton, Haley and
Brianna Watson, Alyzabeth Holman, Alissen Daniels and Xavier Holland and
great grandchildren, Jaxon, Jaycob and McKenzie Seals.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made in
his honor to the Shepherd’s House, P O Box 2611, Tullahoma, TN  37388.

12/6/19 — Eric Delon Baker

Eric Delon Baker, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday, November 30,
2019 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville at the age of 40. Funeral
Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, December 6, 2019 at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial
Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the funeral time.

 Eric was born in Dallas, TX, the son of the late Marsha Kay Henry Baker
and Eddie Baker of Manchester. He was an avid chess player and enjoyed
fishing, bowling, music, playing pool and singing karaoke. Eric was very
close to his mother and grandmothers, who preceded him in death and loved
being with his family laughing and looking at old photos.

In addition to his mother, Marsha Kay Henry Baker, he was preceded in death
by grandparents, Edward and Agnes Baker; grandmother, Alice Henry Smith and
brother, Mark Baker.

Eric is survived by his father, Eddie Baker (Cynthia Gilchriest) of
Manchester; son, Aidian Baker of Dallas, TX; grandfather, Pop Willie Smith
of Sparta; brothers, Terry Don Baker of Dallas, Steven James Baker (Jenny)
of Dallas; sisters, Angelina Baker of Jacksonville, FL, Tina Baker of
Concord, NC, Gina Baker and Kristen Carrier (Aaron), both of Panama City,
FL and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

12/7/19 — Benjamin Joseph Trail

Funeral services for Mr. Benjamin Joseph Trail, age 32, of Manchester, will be conducted at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Dee Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, December 6, 2019, at the funeral home. Mr. Trail passed suddenly from this life on Sunday, December 1, 2019.

Ben was born at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, to Robert and Cindy Trail. He graduated from Coffee County Central High School where he played football, and the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. Ben loved his family more than anything. He was a loyal friend, who enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and riding around on 4wheelers. Ben was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.

Ben is survived by his loving wife, Lauren Anderson Trail; two daughters, Peyton and Hannah Trail; parents, Robert and Cindy Trail; two brothers, Robby and Timothy Trail; one niece, Sophie Trail.

12/5/19 — Carl Nelson Walden

Funeral services for Mr. Carl Nelson Walden, age 84, of Hillsboro, will be conducted at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wiley Walden officiating.  Burial will follow in Ragsdale Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.  Mr. Walden passed from this life on Monday, December 2, 2019.

Carl was born in Manchester, TN, to the late Walter and Ezell Walden.  Before his retirement he was a truck driver.  Carl was baptized in the name of Jesus.  He loved listening to music, spending time gardening, and putting his many talents to use.  Carl was a very strong-willed individual that love spending time with his family.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his parents, Carl is also preceded in death by one brother, Joe Walden; one sister, Jewell Thomas.  He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Walden; three sons, Wiley Walden (Temi), Danny Walden, and Carl Walden, Jr. (Gloria); one daughter, Wanda Heughan (Gordon); one brother, Charlie Walden (Sarah); one sister, Brenda Perry (Robert); ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

12/5/19 — Harry D. Ricco

Harry D. Ricco, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, December 3, 2019
at Tennova Harton Healthcare, at the age of 68. Graveside Services are
scheduled for 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Rose Hill Memorial
Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM.

 A native of Coffee County, he was the son of the late Raymond J. Ricco Sr.
and the late Betty J. Collins Ricco.  He was very active in coaching and
playing softball in Tullahoma. In addition to softball, he enjoyed watching
football and basketball. He also enjoyed gardening and watching old TV
Movies and Western shows.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Tony M.
Ricco and sister, Thereasa Papa.

Mr. Ricco is survived by brothers, Raymond J. Ricco Jr (Susan) of Sierra
Vista, AZ, Lous P Ricco of Tullahoma and Jeffery S. Ricco Sr (Kristina) of
Tullahoma and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

12/2/19 — Janet Holt Ledsinger

Ledsinger, Janet Holt, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, November 29th, 2019 at her home at the age of 75. Mrs. Ledsinger was born in Manchester to the late Carden and Ethel Lusk Holt. She was a retired Probation Parole Manager with the Tennessee Department of Corrections and was also a member and trustee at Highland Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Ledsinger was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Holt; and one sister, Linda Pruden. She is survived by her husband, Jere Ledsinger of Tullahoma; daughter, Chesleigh Lee and her husband Dr. Marcus Lee of Tullahoma; son, Benjamin Holt Murray and his wife Dr. Erin Murray of Tullahoma; daughter, Christy Ledsinger of Tullahoma; eight grandchildren, Lauren, Isaac, and Jacob Lee, and Mary James, Callie, Lily, Jude, and Annabeth Murray all of Tullahoma; and her sister-in-law, Patsy Holt of Tullahoma. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1st, 2019 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd, 2019 at 2:00pm at Highland Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Norman officiating. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Mickey Kiber, Rodger Williams, Jimmy Gaddis, John Knight, Johnny McBride, Steve Conner, Steve Stone, Stan Smith, Jared Cox, and Nate Cox. 12/3/19 — Teresa Ann Freeman

Memorial services for Teresa Ann Freeman, age 45, will be conducted at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Manchester Funeral Home with Mark Lynn speaking for the family. Visitation will be from 4:00 until time of service at the funeral home.  Teresa passed away  on Monday, November 25, 2019.

Teresa was born in Woodbury on August 16, 1974, to Drex and Liegh- Ann Freeman. From an early age, she displayed a real talent in art by drawing and coloring pictures of the world around her.  She went to the College of Arts in Nashville, where she was given her own tutor as she was already so advanced. She went on to receive her college degree in the arts. 

She was a dedicated Cub Scout leader for several years, enjoyed old movies, photography, and loved Marilyn Monroe. She had a gentle, sweet and kind spirit. Teresa loved her family very dearly.

In addition to her parents, Teresa is survived by her children, Kaila, Luke and Donovan; her sisters, Jennifer (Mark), Christy (Andrew) and Esther (Cody); her stepsister, Sarah; stepmother, Jan; grandmother, Patricia Leibacher, aunts, Christy, Celia, Diana, Linda, Sandy, Donna; and uncle, Jimmy. 

Teresa was predeceased by grandparents, Charles and Emma Freeman, and Joseph Leibacher; and uncle, Jay.

11/29/19 — Ruth Porter Binkley

Ruth Porter Binkley, aged 93, went to be with her Lord peacefully on
November 29, 2019 at Bailey Manor, Manchester Tennessee. Ruth was born
February 5, 1926 in Difficult, Tennessee, the daughter of Estelle and Herod
Porter. Ruth was raised by her mother and four loving brothers Kenneth,
James, Charles, and Harry Porter who preceded her.

Ruth was a woman of deep Christian faith, and a faithful and loving mother
and grandmother to her five grandchildren and a great grandson. She
embodied all aspects of Proverbs 31. Ruth also loved to travel, including
trips to the Holy Land, Egypt, Greece, France and beaches in the US on both
coasts. She raised and cared for many kinds of Hybrid Tea roses – some of
which have survived for more than sixty years.

In 1948 Ruth married Freeman Doyle Binkley and they moved to Tullahoma,
Tennessee in 1951 where they built a home on Lake Tullahoma. Both Ruth and
Freeman worked in the early space program for Arnold Engineering
Development Center and then the new University of Tennessee Space
Institute. After her husband’s death, Ruth continued to work at UTSI until
her retirement in 1990. She was the first switchboard operator for the UTSI
building and retired as administrative assistant to the Dean. Ruth was a
member of Trinity Lutheran Church and First United Methodist Church in
Tullahoma.

Ruth is survived by her daughter Roxane Garrett (Robb) of Estill Springs,
Tennessee, Mark Binkley (Linda) of Cary North Carolina, five grandchildren
Jocelynne Nylec (Tommy), Sarah Fedler (Steve), Jessica Binkley (Sarah),
Joshua Binkley, Kyle Binkley, and one great grandson Freeman Nylec.

Ruth has fought the good fight and has finished her race. (2 Timothy 4:7).
In lieu of a funeral service there will be a celebration of her wonderful
life in the spring of next year.

The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her later
years and who were special friends and visitors. In particular, the nurses
and angelic staff of Tullahoma Life Care Center, Manchester Bailey Manor,
and Avalon Hospice. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to an
organization of choice.

11/30/19 — Howard Everett Rix

Howard Everett Rix, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, November
27, 2019 at Tennova Harton at the age of 75. Memorial Services are
scheduled for 2 PM, Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Wesley Heights United
Methodist Church, 2101 E. Lincoln Street, Tullahoma, TN  37388. The family
will receive friends beginning at 12 PM.

 A native of New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Harlan E. and Mary
Haynes Rix. He was retired from the U S Air Force and enjoyed woodworking,
traveling, camping and watching the old Western TV show.  He was a member
of Wesley Heights United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Richard,
Robert and Phillip Rix.

Mr. Rix is survived by wife, Janice Fallert Rix of Tullahoma; daughters,
Jennifer Damron (Dewayne) of Lynchburg and Cindy Drake (Dewayne) of
Manchester; brother, Johnny Rix Blackburn of Washington; sister, Jackie
Haufe of Arizona; grandchildren, Cory Damron (Chelsee) of Lynchburg, Tyler
Drake (fiance’ Annie) of Manchester, Morgan Polly (Dale) of Flintville and
Reagan Damron (Derek) Of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Chase and Carly Damron
and one grandchild on the way, Rhett.

Max E. Trail , of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, November 26, 2019
at the age of 57. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 AM, Saturday,
November 30, 2019 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at
Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday,
November 29, 2019 from 5 – 8 PM.

 A native of Woodbury, he was the son of the late Morris and Lloyd Evadene
Tucker Trail. He worked for the Franklin County Board of Education and
enjoyed hunting, fishing and building model cars.  He also loved being with
his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leigh
Trail.

Mr. Trail is survived by his sons, Max Trail Jr (Rhonda) of Estill Springs
and Adam Trail (Amy) of Richlands, NC; sisters, Teena, Darlene, Theresia,
Pam and Tracy and grandchildren, Jacob and Kaitlyn.
