12/14/19 — James Calvin Rhea
Mr. James Calvin Rhea, 81, of the Hubbard’s Cove
Community in Grundy County passed away Wednesday December 11, 2019 at Alive
Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was born in Hubbard’s Cove on
January 14, 1938 to Claude Calvin Rhea and Gladys Marie Adams Rhea who
preceded him in death.
He was retired from Batesville Casket Casket Company. He was a member of
the Wesley Chapel Church for over 40 years and later the Asbury United
Methodist Church and a US Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Linda J. Shafer Rhea; son, James Calvin Rhea
Jr. Morrison, TN; sister, Sue Rhea (Robin) Hood, Bon Aqua, TN.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at the Wesley Chapel Church in
Hubbard’s Cove with burial to follow in the Wesley’s Chapel Cemetery.

12/14/19 — Patricia Cloud
Patricia Cloud, age 80, of Hillsboro, Tennessee, formerly of Red Bank, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at her residence. Patricia (known as Patsy) was born March 15, 1939, in Long Branch, New Jersey, the daughter of David and Agnes (Nolan) Donahue. She married Robert Lee Cloud on November 15, 1958, in Red Bank, New Jersey.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Robert of Hillsboro, Tennessee; daughter, Theresa Johnson (Andrew) of Laytonsville, Maryland; daughter, Linda Weinstein (Cliff) of Pensacola, Florida; son, Brian Cloud (Gloria) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sister, Joanne O’Neill of Dunnellon, Florida; several nieces, nephews, and Godchildren. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, David and Agnes Donahue; one son, Robert Thomas Cloud.

Patricia was employed by the United Parcel Service for 16 years. She also owned and operated a Carvel ice cream store in Middletown, New Jersey for 10 years.
Visitation for Patricia will be held at Manchester Funeral Home on Friday, December 13, 2019, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 AM on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, in Manchester.

12/17/19 — Lewis Kelly Wilbanks
Mr. Lewis Kelly Wilbanks of Fayetteville, passed this life on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at his residence at the age of 69. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 17th, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Grove Cemetery in Lincoln County. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 16th, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilbanks, a native of Coldwater TN, was the son of the late John and Tennie Sanders Wilbanks. He was a lifelong farmer and long-time employee of Harold Armstrong.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Wilbanks, one daughter and son-in-law, Diane Holman and Ollie Wilbanks; two grandsons, Tim Wilbanks and Jimmy Clutts; three brothers, Ollie, Junior, and Edward; and one sister, Jennie Mae
Mr. Wilbanks is survived by five daughters, Shelia Bates, Angela Wilbanks (Pete Bates), Barbara Clutts (Melvin), Sue Repasky (George), and Debbie Clutts (Billy Wayne); two sisters, Elizabeth Pigg (Jerry) of Hazel Green, AL and Faye Tallman of Flintville, TN; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and eighteen great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

12/11/19 — Kenneth Allen Brazier Jr.
Kenneth Allen Brazier Jr., of Manchester, passed this life on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center at the age of 46. Memorial Services are scheduled for 4:30 PM, Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services.
Kenneth was born in Tullahoma, the son of Kenneth Brazier Sr. and the late Janet Russell Brazier. In addition to his mother, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Brazier.
In addition to his father, Mr. Brazier is survived by two sons, Robby Miller (Kayla), and Tyler Griser (Chelsey); one daughter, Britny Brazier; one brother, Gerald Brazier; two sisters, Lesley Brazier (Lisa Dodd) and Jennifer Brown; three grandchildren, Braxton, Aubrey, and Grayson Griser; and two nephews, Jason and Christian Brazier.

12/9/19 — Alyce Jayne McCullough
Alyce Jayne McCullough, 84, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019, at the
Health Center at Standifer Place in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was born
in Harvey, Illinois, on June 20, 1935. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Forrest Henry McCullough, and her parents Orbra and Louise (Weitz)
Ledford.
Jayne met her husband, Forrest, while attending Trevecca Nazarene College.
They traveled extensively to support his evangelistic ministry, including
several trips to Israel. They also owned the Evangel Christian Bookstore
in Tullahoma until 1975. In later years, she worked as the activity
director of a nursing home in Nashville where she was much beloved for her
creativity and humor. She was known to many as a surrogate aunt and
grandmother.
Jayne is survived by her daughter, Beth Hawkins of Hixson, Tennessee and
son, Forrest Henry (Amanda) McCullough II of Tullahoma, Tennessee;
grandchildren: Zachary Hawkins, Lindsey (Eric) Bosley, Forrest Henry
(Carrie) McCullough III, and Clint McCullough; great grandchildren: Maddux
Bosley and Barrett McCullough; siblings: Jerry Ledford, Joye Bock, and
Hazel Liner; and nieces and nephews: Wayne (Stephanie) Ledford, Kenny
(Shelby) Ledford, Terry (Mike) Jenkins, Leesa (Dan) Hubbard, Jon (Angie)
Jernigan, Marleeta (Don) Yardumian, Randall (Nettie) Liner, and Joshua
Liner.
She will be remembered fondly for her sense of style and ability to make
everyone around her feel special. She will be deeply missed.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00, Monday, December 9 at the
Maplewood Cemetery in Tullahoma, Tennessee. The family will hold
Celebration of Life reception at the First Church of the Nazarene
fellowship hall in Tullahoma from 3:00-6;00.

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Ann McCormick, age 79, of Hillsboro, TN, will
be conducted at 1:00PM on Monday, December 9, 2019, at Coffee County
Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mrs. McCormick passed away on December 5, 2019 at her residence.
Doris was born in Manchester, TN, the daughter of the late J.T and Polly Wiser. She has been a bus driver for Coffee County Schools for over 30 years. Doris was a member of Rutledge Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing cards and dominos with family, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, reading, gardening, riding her bike, and most importantly spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Boyd McCormick. She is survived by one son, Randy McCormick and wife Kathy; one daughter, Cindy Nadeau and husband Mark; five grandchildren, Amie Keele and husband Donald, Todd McCormick and wife Chancy, Katie McCormick, Lauren Campbell and husband Josh, and Nicholas Nadeau and wife Jessica; eight great grandchildren, Kolby McCormick, Daldon Keele, Dixon Keele, Case McCormick, Tavin McCormick, Dasaney Bartley, Xavier Bartley, and Anders Campbell.

12/08/19 — Woodrow Cecil Foster
Mr. Woodrow Cecil Foster, 84 of Hillsboro, TN passed away Friday December 6, 2019 at his home after an extended illness. Mr. Foster was a retired truck driver for the Coffee County Highway Department. He was born in Coffee County to Woodrow and Lorene Vickers Foster who preceded him in death along with his wife JoAnn Gibson Foster; son Cecil Thomas “Tommy” Foster; brothers Steven Wayne Foster and Johnny Elgin Foster, and sister Barbara Jean Foster.
He is survived by a daughter Barbara McGrew of Hendersonville, TN; brothers Robert Foster (Mickey) of Manchester and Doyle Foster of Pelham, sister Sylvia Armer (Ryan) of Hillsboro, and devoted companion Elaine Kellam; grandchildren April Elrod (Shawn) and Jamie Rounsville of Manchester and 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday at Central Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Sanders officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Central Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Methodist Cemetery.
