Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Rose Barnes, age 81, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Centertown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at the funeral home. Mrs. Barnes passed from this life surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at her residence in Manchester.

Mary was born in Winchester, TN, to the late Henry and Loretta Amos. She was a seamstress for over 30 years upon her retirement. Mary loved going shopping and to yard sales, and she loved flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mary is also preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy “Bobo” Amos and Henry “BB” Amos; two sisters, Beverly Thrasher and Sue Gilliam; one grandson, Waylon Dodd. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Kenneth Barnes; one son, Tim McCullough (Larissa); two daughters, Darlene Reecer (Robert) and Charlene Dodd (Roger); one brother, Jack Amos; four grandchildren, Kenny, Breonna, Paige, and Kelley; four great-grandchildren, Tori, Erica, Tessa, and Austin; and several half brothers and sisters.

Sam Baker Crockett Jr., of Nashville, passed this life on Monday, January 6th, 2020 at Richland Place in Nashville at the age of 75. Mr. Crockett was born in Nashville to the late Sam B. Crockett Sr. and Margaret Stephens Crockett. During his life he worked in security with Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority and was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church as well as the Al Menah Shriners. Mr. Crockett is survived by a host of cousins and extended family members. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 13th, 2020 at 11:00am at Hollywood Cemetery in Wartrace with Richard Stephenson officiating. Irene Damron, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, January 6, 2020 at
the Life Care Center of Tullahoma, at the age of 84. Funeral Services are
scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

A native of the Raus Community of Bedford County, she was the daughter of
the late John and Ruby Sons Glascoe.  Irene was loved by many and she loved
people, especially her family.  She enjoyed entertaining people in her home
and playing cards.  She was a member of Thompson Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John
Robert Damron; brothers, Aaron and Marion Glascoe and sisters, Christine
Smith, Ruth Damron and Helen Harris.

Irene is survived by brother, Ernest Glascoe (Daisy) of Tullahoma; sister,
Jean Chilton of Tullahoma and many nieces and nephews.

Helen Mary Smith, 73 of Hillsboro passed away Thursday January
2, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Smith was retired form the Oldsmobile Motor
Company in Lansing Michigan. She is survived by her husband Warren Lester
Smith; son Danny Corbin (Vickie) of Michigan; daughter Michelle Pierce of
Hillsboro; sister Margaret Colby of Normandy; 6 grandchildren and 5
great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday January
8th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made
to cover funeral expenses.

Mildred passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester.

Mildred was born in Eva, AL, the daughter of the late Phene and Bessie Easterwood Adams. She worked on the assembly line at Pajama Corporation of America and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mildred enjoyed quilting, jewelry making, and crafts and was a member of Forest Mill Home Demonstration Club.

In addition to her parents, Mildred was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Parker; and three brothers, Lawrence, John, and Wendell Adams. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra K. Long of Hillsboro and Nelli Hill of Belleair, FL; one sister, Sue Richardson; six grandchildren, Brenda (Danny) Sherrill, Lisa Jenkins, Gina (Denny) Rudolph, Leslie Rigney, Adam Hill, and Andrea Hill; nine great grandchildren; and six great, great grandchildren.

Joseph Edward “Jay” Johnson II, of Tullahoma passed this life on Friday January 3, 2019 at Tennova Healthcare-Harton at the age of 51. Mr. Johnson was born in Tullahoma to the late Joseph Johnson Sr, and Sara Jernigan Richardson who survives. Mr. Johnson was a graduate of Tullahoma High School and Motlow State Community College. He served his country proudly as a member of the United States Army during Operation Desert Storm, and later worked for Bridgestone. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah and Rob Roy Jernigan. He is survived by his parents, Sara and Chuck Richardson; one daughter Sarah Jo Johnson; uncles Bobby Jernigan (Jane) and Rusty Jernigan and his wife Trisha. Joseph is also survived by his fiancé Jennifer Jacobs. Visitation for Mr. Johnson will be held on Saturday, January 11th from 1:00-3:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Rickey Wade officiating. Burial will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Sullivan Harrell, age 82, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Manchester Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Rigsby officiating. Burial will follow in Fredonia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Manchester Funeral Home. Mrs. Harrell passed from this life on January 3, 2020 at NHC of Tullahoma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Marshall Harrell; parents Walter and “Queenie” Elizabeth Sullivan; along with two brothers James Sullivan and Fred Sullivan.

She was a member of Gnat Hill Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Throughout her life she was employed with Eden Industries, TEAM enterprises, and the Manchester and Coffee County School Systems in the Cafeterias.

Survivors include one son and daughter in law Don and Rebecca Harrell; two granddaughters, Brandy Gibbs (Eric) and Ashley Jernigan; one great grand-daughter, Briley Jernigan. Also surviving is one sister, Loyce Sullivan Gilley; and one sister- in- law, Barbara Sullivan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Manchester, Tennessee – Mr. Elton D. Banks, 63, passed away Tuesday
December 31, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee on June
26, 1956 to Paskel Banks and Molene Smith Banks who preceded him in death
along with his sister, Patsy Banks.

He was a farmer and member of the Riley Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Tabitha and her husband Sherrill Brown,
Alabama; sisters, Brenda and her husband Paul Hathaway, Kansas City, Mo and
Treva Hedgepath, Portland, TN; 1 grandson, Hayden Brown; several nieces and
nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday in the Central Funeral Home chapel
with Minister Dwight Duckworth officiating with burial to follow in the Old
