Terry Ray Jernigan
Mr. Terry Ray Jernigan, age 69, of Manchester, TN,
passed from this life on Friday, April 15, 2022, in Tullahoma, TN.
Mr. Jernigan was born in Biloxi, MS, to his late father Ray Jernigan and
surviving mother Viva McCurry Jernigan. He worked with AT&T for 38 years as
a telephone lineman. Mr. Jernigan and his wife, Debbie, are both members of
Temple Baptist Church in Manchester, TN, where he was very involved in many
different ministries. He was active in the Temple Baptist Church Bus
Ministry for around 30 years. Mr. Jernigan was a devout Christian and loved
his church dearly. Mr. Jernigan also coached little league and Babe Ruth
baseball for 14 years and was an avid golfer. He was a devoted family man
and loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Jernigan is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debbie Swann Jernigan;
sons, Scott (Stephanie) Jernigan, Matt (Amanda) Jernigan, and Charlie
(Jamie) Jernigan; brothers, Jimmy (Nancy) Jernigan and Danny (Pam)
Jernigan; grandchildren, Olivia, Ryan, Emily, Landon, Jackson, Kaitlyn,
Hailey, Cayden, Ava, and Cooper; in-laws, Larry (Fay) Swann, Anniston, AL,
Richard (Sherry) Swann, Summittville, TN, Marie (Randy) Blurton,
Prattville, AL, and Terry (Hortencia) Swann, El Paso, TX; several close
friends, co-workers, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held Monday, April 18, 2022, from 4:00pm
until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services
will be conducted on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 2:00pm at Temple Baptist
Church in Manchester, TN, with Greg Nash officiating, with a visitation
held from 1:00pm until time of service. Burial will follow at Rose Hill
Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, TN.

Charles Thomas Luna
Charles Thomas Luna of Tullahoma passed this life on Thursday, April 14 at
his residence at the age of 51, following a 12- and one-half year valiant
battle with brain cancer. He was born in Tullahoma on December 22, 1970 to
Bill R and Ruby H Luna. Charles graduated from Tullahoma High School in
1989 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
from Berry College in Mount Berry, GA in 1993.
Charles loved baseball from a young age and was able to follow his passion
into his sales career with Worth Sporting Goods throughout the Southern
United States. He cherished his family, close friends and friendships he
developed in college baseball and softball programs throughout the US.
In addition to his parents, Charles is survived by two sons, Andrew Holland
Luna of Tullahoma and Will Thomas Luna, USAF, Sheppard AFB, Texas; brother,
Scott Luna (Shea) of Lawrenceburg, KY; sister, Deborah Brandt of Tullahoma
and three nieces.
A memorial service will be conducted from the chapel of Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2 PM with Roy Allan Hopkins,
officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made in
his honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place,
Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

Leonard Gary DeBruyn Sr.
Leonard Gary DeBruyn Sr., age 78, left this world on Thursday, April 14,
2022 surrounded by his loving family.
Leonard was born on January 16, 1944 in Rochester, NY to the late Addren
and Hazel Johnson DeBruyn. He was the youngest of 16 children.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Ann DeBruyn. His two
children, Leonard (Mary) DeBruyn Jr. and Angel (Billy) Wright. His two
granddaughters, Brook (Dalton) Umbarger and Morgan (Andrew) Trejo, as well
as two great grandchildren, Hayes Umbarger and Lorelei Trejo.
Leonard is also survived by one sister, Virginia Bott as well as numerous
brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Leonard Spent 22 years in the United States Air Force. He was awarded 5
Commendation Medals and Meritorious Service Medal. He served two tours in
Thailand, one tour in the Philippines, one tour in Korea and one tour in
Japan.
After retirement, Leonard worked at Wilson Sporting Goods and Carrier
Corporation.
Leonard and Barbara enjoyed golfing and traveling together, spending time
with their family and living life to the fullest.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home,
Tullahoma, Tennessee on Monday, April 18, at 2 P.M. The family will receive
friends from 12 P.M until the service time. Internment will be held at
Bethel Cemetery in Pelham, TN with full Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to your
favorite charity in Leonard’s name. His favorite charities were Wounded
Warriors and St. Judes.
Harold Leedy III
Harold Leedy III of Tullahoma passed this life on Thursday, April 14, 2022
at his residence at the age of 58. No services are scheduled at this time.
Harold, a native of Trenton, New Jersey, was the son of Harold S. Leedy Jr.
of New Jersey and the late Elizabeth Ruth Tilghman Leedy. Mr. Leedy III was
a retired Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed working out, reading about history,
drawing, going to air shows, martial arts and karate. He is preceded in
death by his mother, Elizabeth Ruth Tilghman Leedy.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughter, Sara Leedy of
Rossville, GA; sisters, Shelia Akers of North Carolina and Robin Carney of
Pennsylvania.
Betty Tipps Gattis
Betty Tipps Gattis, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, April 13 th , 2022 at NHC at the age of 86. Mrs. Gattis was born in Lynchburg to the late Ernest and Lillie Brown Tipps. During her life she worked as a clerk with the Department of Corrections and Probation and was a member of Grundy Street Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gattis was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon G. Gattis, Sr.; two sisters, Josephine Hudson and Jean Kinnard Szabo; and one brother, Bill Tipps. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn C. Gattis (Judith Scoonover) and Pam Brandon; one son, Glendon G. Gattis, Jr.; two brothers, Robert B. Tipps (Marie) and Dudley Tipps (Ann); two grandchildren, Ryan Brandon (Emily) and Sara Brandon Cook (Joel); and two great-grandchildren, Sam and Silas. Visitation for Mrs. Gattis will be held on Monday, April 18 th , 2022 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 12:00-3:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 3:00pm with Bro. Philip Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Era Mai Webb Franks
Mrs. Era Mai Webb Franks, age 94, of Manchester,
TN, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, in Manchester, TN.
Mrs. Franks was born in Keltonburg, TN, to her late parents Hampton Webb
and Winnie Judkins Webb. She worked as a store clerk for Redford’s for many
years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, Lester Franks; son-in-law Lonnie Clapp; sisters, Kathleen Wall,
JoAnn Sandlin, Doris Webb.
Mrs. Franks is survived by her daughters, Sherry Clapp and Brenda (Richard)
Krause; grandchildren, Jason (Jodi) Clapp, Jeff (Heather) Clapp, Jamie
(Brandon Sr.) Brown, Erin Cerrato, Meredith Krause (Michael) Hauch; great
grandchildren, Lexy Clapp, Jaylen Clapp, Peyton Clapp, Brooklyn Brown,
Brandon Brown, Jr.; great great grandchildren, Riley Clapp, Carson Witt,
and Vernon Witt; honorary grandchild, Brandon Umbarger.
Visitation with the family will be held Friday, April 15, 2022, from

Milton Lewis Hickerson
Mr. Milton Lewis Hickerson, age 75, of Manchester,
TN, passed from this life suddenly on Monday, April 11, 2022, in Bell
Buckle, TN.
Mr. Hickerson was born in Manchester, TN, and raised by his late parents,
Thurman Lewis Hickerson and Eleanore Deets Hickerson. He worked in and had
nursery/gardening business and loved working in his nursery. Before his
nursery business he worked as a boiler maker for many years. In addition to
his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Tony Hickerson.
Mr. Hickerson is survived by his wife of 51 years, Faye Lynn Hickerson;
sons, Thurman Lewis Hickerson, Manchester, TN, and Nicholas Lewis
Hickerson, Manchester, TN; daughter, Monica (Darren) Forsyth, Beersheba
Springs, TN; several grandchildren; special friend, Ernest Martin;
sister-in-laws, Betty Meadows, Viola, TN, Wanda Battles, Georgia, Hugh and
Shirley Russell, Estill Springs, TN; brother-in-laws, Albert and Gayle
Lynn, Viola, TN, Carl and Tonya Lynn, Pelham, TN, Billy Lynn, Pelham, TN;
niece and nephew, Randall and Misty Hickerson; host of friends.

Bryce Alexander Kutzli
A celebration of life for Mr. Bryce Alexander Kutzli, age 78 of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00PM on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Manchester Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Mr. Kutzli passed peacefully from this life on Friday, April 1, 2022, at St. Thomas – Midtown in Nashville, TN.
Bryce was born in Liberty Center, OH on September 3, 1943, the son of the late Fernando and Rosemary Kutzli. He was a member of West End Baptist Church in Tullahoma, and he also attended Forest Mill Baptist Church in Manchester. Bryce was a retired United States Navy veteran. He served during the Vietnam War, was a Purple Heart recipient, and he was a member of many veteran’s clubs. After retiring from the Navy, Bryce worked and retired from the United States Postal Service. Family meant everything to Bryce. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to him. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Bryce is also preceded in death by his identical twin brother, David Kutzli; three brothers, Marvin, Clarence, and Lawrence Kutzli. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Emmie Dorsett Kutzli; son, Keith Brawley (Stacie); brother, Kevin Kutzli (Judith); sisters, Cynthia Kerr, Darcy Kutzli, and Grace Castillo (Albert); grandchildren, Kelsey Vickers (Case) and Kyle Brawley; great-grandchildren, Emery Vickers and Filip Vickers.

Rex Thomas Broadrick
Rex Thomas Broadrick, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, April 12 th , 2022 at his home at the age of 63. Rex was born in Manchester to the late Ross Broadrick and Wilma Jean Reynolds Broadrick who survives. During his life, he worked as a Contractor for R.B.S. Restoration. In addition to his father, Rex was preceded in death by two brothers, Ron and Rick Broadrick. He is survived by two sons, Travis Broadrick and Dakota Broadrick; two daughters, Melissa Broadrick and Trisha Broadrick; his mother, Wilma Jean Broadrick; two brothers, Randy and Russell Broadrick; and grandchildren, Alaina, Harper, Liam and Cara. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 15 th , 2022 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16 th , 2022 at 11:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Harold Partin officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Donald Ray Sanders
Mr. Donald Ray Sanders, age 66, of Manchester, TN,
passed from this life on Sunday, April 10, 2022, in Nashville, TN.
Mr. Sanders was born in Ft. Knox, KY, to his late parents Charles Ray
Sanders and Dorthy Mae Collins Sanders. He was a self employed carpenter
for most of his life. Mr. Sanders and his wife, Brenda Ann Warren Sanders,
are both members of Lakeview Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He
enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and enjoys kids in general. Mr.
Sanders enjoyed music and playing his guitar. He also loved building things
and had a great sense of humor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded
in death by a sister, Susan Carol Bumpas and grandchild, Korey Alan Scott.
Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda Sanders; daughters,
Samantha Lee (Korey Scott) Sanders, Donna Renee (Joseph) Floyd; brothers,
James Michael Sanders, Rickie Joe (Janey Ray) Sanders, Charles Raymon
Sanders, and Carl Allen (Angie Sherrill) Sanders; sister, Angeline Renee
(Jackie) Hensley; grandchildren, Cadan Thomas Avans, Connor Nathaniel
Avans, Carson Lee Avans, Corbin Gabriel Avans, Kora Lynn Grace Scott, Noah
Alexander Floyd, Annabelle Renee Floyd, Boone Walker Floyd, Deacon Uriah
Floyd, and Finley Faye Floyd; many beloved nieces and nephews.
