2/3/20 — Tina Marie Cardwell

Tina Marie Cardwell of Tullahoma passed this life on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare-Harton at the age of 64. Mrs. Cardwell was born in Shelbyville to the late Phillip and Sarah Chapman Buntley. She was a member of New Herman church of Christ. Mrs. Cardwell is survived by her husband, Kenneth Cardwell; two sons, Marc Cardwell and his wife Wendy, and David Cardwell; and three grandchildren, Nolan, Hannah, and Allie. Visitation for Mrs. Cardwell will take place on Monday, February 3rd from 11:30am-1:30pm. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:30pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Keasey officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Bank Cemetery in Bedford County. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Marcus Lee for his commitment to caring for Tina. 2/3/20– Mark R Boazman

Mark R Boazman of Manchester, passed this life on Wednesday, January 29,
2020 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville at the age of 67. Funeral
Services are scheduled for 1 PM, Monday, February 3, 2020 at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday,
February 2, 2020 from 6 – 9 PM.

A native of Alabama, he was the son of the late Jim and Mary Parsons
Boazman.  Mr. Boazman loved music and could play many instruments including
bass guitar, upright bass, fiddle, and mandolin.  He was a member and
founder of several local bands including “Savage Gulf”, “George and the
Redcoats”, “Sudden Impact”, “Stonehenge” and “The Miracles”. He enjoyed
performing many genres including blue grass, pop/rock and gospel.

Mark also enjoyed working on and restoring motorcycles and cars. He loved
telling jokes, making people laugh and having a good time. Most of all, he
loved the Lord and Life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy
Boazman.

Mark is survived by his wife, Marcia Boazman of Manchester and daughter,
Cloie Thomas and her husband, Jerry of Tullahoma.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made to
the Facebook Fundraiser for “Funeral and Medical Expenses for Mark Boazman.

2/2/20 — Donnie Morris Lawson

Funeral services for Mr. Donnie Morris Lawson, age 71, of Manchester will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Benny Benjamin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Lawson passed from this life surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at his residence in Manchester.

Donnie was born in Oak Ridge, TN on May 22, 1948, to the late Lloyd and Amanda Lawson. He was a business owner for many years. Donnie loved fishing, having cookouts, and going camping, but his favorite past time was spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Highland Lodge #214. Donnie was a loving husband, father, and brother.

Donnie is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Amanda. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Jackie Lawson; four children, Teresa Wilhoite, Billy Wright, Greg Wright, and Bobby Wright; two brothers, Roy and Mickey Lawson; five nieces; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

2/1/20– Lora Mae Woods

Funeral services for Lora Mae Woods, age 80, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Manchester Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Clouse and Bro. Travis Clouse officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Woods passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Manchester Healthcare.

Lora was born in Grundy County, TN, on August 24, 1939, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ninnie Mae Brandon. She worked at PCA Corporation in Manchester in her early years. She was also of the Nazarene faith. Lora Mae loved cooking for her family and especially for her friends. She loved planting flowers and working jigsaw puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Lora Mae was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Woods; former husbands, David R. Gilliam and Eddie McCurry; and one brother, Edward Brandon. She is survived by her really good friend and caretaker, Roy Ferrell; two brothers, Jim (Bonny) Brandon and Tom (Peggy) Brandon, both of Manchester; three children, John (Darelene) Gilliam of Tullahoma, Lisa (Forrest) Parton and Renee (David) Nipper, both of Manchester; four grandchildren, Brittany (Brad) Meadows of Manchester, Chelsa (Josh) Clark of Tullahoma, Ashley Yarbrough of Nashville, and Emily Nipper of Manchester; five great grandchildren that she adored and loved, Ben and Faith Bradford, Irelend and Hannah Clark, and Shaylee Meadows. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who loved her family and friends.

Lora Mae “Gran” will be missed by all who knew her.

Jerry Lynn Tomlinson Crews

Crews, Jerry Lynn Tomlinson, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 at the age of 73. Jerry Lynn was a native of Fairhope, Alabama and a long-time resident of Winchester, Tennessee. She graduated in 1964 from Fairhope High School and attended The University of Southern Mississippi. After college, Jerry Lynn joined the family business, Emperor Clock Company and Empress Chandeliers, and went on to own and manage many more businesses in her lifetime. Jerry Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, George and Bobbye Fowler; her husbands, John E. Tomlinson, Sr., and Morris Crews; and numerous other family members. She is survived by her daughter, Jodi Lynn Craig; her son, John (Tina) E. Tomlinson Jr.; her sister, Sandra Fowler Little; grandchildren, Evan (Emily) Tomlinson, Chelsey Tomlinson, and Chancellor Tomlinson; nephew, Larry (Bridget) Wilson Jr. and their children; cousins, Kay Freeman, Liz Dyar, and Becky Nichols; and her special friend, Roy J. Spencer who was by her side until the end. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 from 1:00-3:00pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, Alabama with the funeral to immediately follow at 3:00pm with Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial will follow at the Memory Gardens of Fairhope. Kilgore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
 

2/1/20– Charles R. Carter

Charles R. Carter of Manchester, passed this life on Tuesday, January 28,
2020 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville at the age of 54. Funeral
Services are scheduled for 5 PM, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3 PM
until the service time.

A native of Alabama, he was the son of the late Charles Kenneth Carter and
Claudia Casteel Carter, who survives.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and
collecting antiques.  He loved helping people. His favorite times were
spent playing with his granddaughter, Riley and his beloved pet German
Shepard, Gemma.

In addition to his mother, Claudia Carter of Estill Springs, Mr. Carter is
survived by his wife, Betty Ann Carter of Manchester; daughters, Elizabeth
Carter of Manchester and Tabetha Carter of Tullahoma; brother, Chris Carter
of Estill Springs; sister, Crystal Carter of Estill Springs and
granddaughter, Riley Ann Carter.

2/8/2020– Larry Melvin Barnhardt

Memorial services for Mr. Larry Melvin Barnhardt, age 67, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Bell Springs United Methodist Church with Pastor Roger Brown officiating. Larry passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Larry was born in Oak Ridge, TN, the son of the late Melvin Seagle Barnhardt and the late Mary Gretchen Keener Barnhardt. Larry worked in the warehouse for the Rutherford County Co-op in Lavergne, TN. He was an avid Tennessee Vol fan.

Larry is survived by one sister, Linda (Ron) White; several cousins; numerous friends; and his loving cat, Joe.

1/31/20– Tony Earl Lawson

Tony Earl Lawson of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, January 29,
2020 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro at the age of 73. Graveside Services
are scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, January 31, 2020 at Maplewood Cemetery.

A native of Coffee County, he was the son of the late Clarence Edward and
Effie Mae Evans Lawson.  He was a U S Army Veteran and a member of the
Canaan Baptist Church in Tullahoma, where he served as a Deacon.  Tony was
the owner of TEL Tax Service and also owned and operated the Goody Wagon in
Tullahoma.  Mr. Lawson loved driving the ice cream truck thru the
neighborhoods in Tullahoma and providing treats to the children.  He always
loved being around kids and coached Little League for several years.  He
also enjoyed fishing and being with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers,
James, Frankie, Doyle, Clarence “Bug”, Lacy and G W Lawson and sisters,
Frances Thomas and Bessie Lawson.

Mr. Lawson is survived by his loving wife of almost 44 years, Mary Jane
Cherry Lawson of Tullahoma; daughters, Tonya Lawson of Murfreesboro,
Mechelle Lawson of Tullahoma and Mandy Contreras of Murfreesboro and his
loving pet dog, Chester.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial donations be made in

1/31/20 — Ronnie Edward “Scooter” Anderson

Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Edward “Scooter” Anderson, age 66, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Manchester Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in Farrar Hill Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.  Mr. Anderson passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN.

Scooter was born in Manchester, TN, the son of the late Claude and Marie Holt Anderson.  He was a laborer at Temco and loved to tell jokes and aggrevate.

In addition to his parents, Scooter was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lee Anderson; his grandmother, Bessie Anderson; and an aunt, Christine Anderson.  He is survived by his children, Bessie Mae Anderson and Candy Michelle Anderson; grandchildren, Gabriel and Dakota Goodson and Joshua Lee Harding, II; brother, Tony (Carol) Anderson; sisters, Mary Ellen (Billy) Majors and Sarah (Richard) Felts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

1/26/20– Paul Moews

Paul “Snake” or “Tony” Moews of Normandy, passed this life on Sunday,
January 26, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare of Shelbyville, at the age of 63. No
services are scheduled.

A native of Bloomington, IL, he was the son of the late Paul Moews and
Charlotte Probus Moews of Bloomington, who survives.  He enjoyed watching
old Western TV shows and cartoons on TV.  He was an animal lover and was a
hat collector.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robbie
Moews.

Mr. Moews is survived by his mother, Charlotte Moews of Blomington, IL;
wife, Sharon Moews of Normandy; sons, Troy Moews of Springfield, IL, Dan
Enyeart (Nikki) and Jerry Enyeart (Kelli), both of South Bend, IN and Rich
Enyeart of Mishawaka, IN; daughter, Shan Rodriguez (Marc) of Osceola, IN;
brothers, Mike Moews (Terri) of Bloomington, IL and Ricky Moews (Cindy) of
FL; sister, Paula Vandegraft (Mike) Bloomington, IL; seven grandchildren
and seven great grandchildren.
