Roy Eugene Burnaine
Mr. Roy Eugene Burnaine, age 85, of Manchester, TN,
passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020, in Murfreesboro, TN.
Mr. Burnaine was born in Tennessee Ridge, TN, to his late parents Ira Lee
Burnaine and Susie Alice Smith Burnaine. He worked in a sawmill for all his
life up until his retirement. Mr. Burnaine was a member of New Life Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill,
Danny, and Herman Burnaine.
Mr. Burnaine is survived by his wife of 58 years, Claudia K. Barrowman
Burnaine; sisters, Margie Willoughby, Myrtle Francie Melton, Wanda Sue
Lumpkins, and Joyce Eleanor Solmon.
Family will receive friends on Friday, November 13, 2020, from 12:00pm
until 2:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN.

Kelly W. Neal
Kelly W. Neal of Huntsville passed this life on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the age of 56. The family will welcome friends for Visitation on Friday, November 13 at 11:00AM. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00PM with Bro Tommy Neal officiating and burial will be held at Lexie Crossroads Cemetery in Belvidere.
Ms. Neal had a very giving and generous heart. She loved to help people whenever she had the chance to do so. Ms. Neal was also known to have a green thumb with her plants. She enjoyed attending church at The Rock Family Worship Center, reading, and antique furniture.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Heindricks (Dannie) of New Market, AL; son, Alex Gonzalez of Huntsville, AL; daughter, Candice Cowan of Huntsville, AL; brother, Tommy Neal (Jessica) of Clarksville, TN; sister, Lisa Cobb (Tony) of Harvest, AL; grandchildren, Braylon Cowan, Kylie Cowan, Landon Cowan, and Xavier Gonzalez.

Linda S. Morris
Linda S. Morris of Taft passed this life on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the age of 72. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later time.
Mrs. Morris was born in Saulsbury, TN to the late Willis and Myrtle Slager Jones. She attended church at the United Methodist Church in Taft and had previously been a beautician in Nashville for 32 years. Mrs. Morris had a wonderful sense of humor and was full of life and love. She was always up for adventure, especially when it involved her grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart. Taking trips to the beach, or to the mountains, and cooking were just a few of her favorite activities.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her brothers, David, Joe, and O’Dell “Buck” Jones.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Airess Johnson Hoffman (George) of Taft; brother, Sam Jones (Dena) of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Ruby Thompson of Lebanon, Sadie Lanius (Raymond) of Lebanon, and Betty Cato (Charles) of Lebanon; her grandchildren’s father, John Lewis Johnson of Madison, AL; grandchildren, Elijah Lewis Johnson of Taft, Jake Kelley Johnson of Taft, Zachary Hoffman of Athens, AL, and Christina Hoffman of Florence, AL.

Joyce Juanita Seal
Funeral services for Joyce Juanita Seal, age 90, of Manchester, TN, will be
conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Manchester Funeral
Home. Burial will follow in Adam Duncan Cemetery. Visitation with the
family will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the
funeral home. Joyce passed away at Unity Medical Center on Saturday,
November 7, 2020.
Joyce was born in Coffee County, TN, the daughter of the late Charlie and
Euna Dye Bryan. She was a homemaker and a member of Goose Pond Methodist
Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Club. Joyce worked with the
Coffee County Election Commission and loved being around people.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her
husband, John T. Seal; brothers, David and Norman Bryan; sisters, Gertrude,
Ethel Mae and Sharon Faye Bryan; and brother-in-law, George Ayers. She is
survived by her daughter, Susan Joy (James) Rosson of Manchester; brother,
Jimmy Burl Bryan; sisters, Carolyn Keele of Manchester and Jessie Ruth
Ayers; brother-in-law, Jimmy Seal, grandchildren, Matthew John Hale and Amy
Joy Hale; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Goose Pond United
Methodist Church or Adam Duncan Cemetery.

Inia Cruise of Tullahoma
Inia Cruise of Tullahoma, TN, age 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, November 6th, 2020. In 1948 Inia married J.L. “Josh” Cruise, a combat veteran in World War II, from White County, Tennessee. Upon moving to Tullahoma from White County with her husband Josh, Inia spent many years serving Tullahoma and the community at large as she specialized in men’s clothing. She first worked at Goldsteins and then later at McClures stores. From there she invested many years with Caster-Knott and Dillards all in the men’s clothing and men’s suits departments. She retired from Dillards in 1989. They had one son, Larry, a retired PGA Golf Professional. Larry and Nancy Cruise live currently in the Tullahoma area. She is survived by her two sisters, Ruby Jo Tucker (husband Ralph) and Katherine Vaughn, both of Tullahoma, one son, Larry Cruise (wife Nancy) of Tullahoma, grandson Jason Cruise (wife Michelle) of Franklin, Tennessee, two great grandsons Cole and Tucker Cruise of Franklin, Tennessee, as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Josh, sisters and brothers Grace Reedy, Billie Kyzer, Ruth Dodson, Pauline Tatum, Wayne Smith, James Smith, and Buddy Smith. Inia was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Services will be held at Kilgore Funeral Home and will be officiated by Dr. Jason Cruise, Senior Pastor of ClearView Baptist Church, Franklin, Tennessee. Visitation will be from 5pm – 7pm Tuesday November 10th with the funeral service beginning at 7pm that same evening. Burial will be at Doyle Cemetery in White County, Tennessee at 11am November 11th, 2020. Kilgore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Randell Lee Thomas
Thomas, Randell Lee “Randy”, of Manchester, passed this life on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro at the age of 61. Randy was born in Tullahoma to the late General Keith Thomas and Avie Pierce Thomas. During his life, he served as the Pastor for the Emmanuel Church of Christ in Huntland. Randy is survived by his wife Pam Thomas; three children, Tina Parker (Jon), Penny O’Dare, and Brandon Lee Thomas (Amanda); three sisters, Dana Ferrell (Tony), Tammy Bowen (James), and Latisha Dotson (Kevin); and one brother, Harlan Thomas (Debra); grandchildren, Andrew, Brittany, Courtney, Christopher, Alex, Elizabeth, Ella, and Macy; and five great-grandchildren, Xander, Aarin, Axel, Isaiah, and Loki. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th, 2020 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00pm with the funeral to follow at 2:00pm with Bishop Ronnie Banks officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester. Kilgore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Michael L Meggs
Michael L Meggs of Manchester, passed this life on Friday, November 6, 2020
at Tennova Healthcare-Harton at the age of 73. Private family services are
scheduled.
A native of Phoenix, AZ, he was the son of the late Michael and Virginia
Carr Clements Meggs. He was a U S Army veteran and served in the Vietnam
War. He was a long-distance truck driver and “Loved being on the road
experiencing all the different areas of the United States”. He also enjoyed
watching all sports and was an avid Tennessee Titans fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Sharon Meggs
and brothers, Austin, Leo, Billy and Donnie Clements.
He is survived by sisters, Ann Welch of Manchester and Jean Martinez and
nephews, Eddie and Anthony Welch of Manchester.

Leonard O Alford
Leonard O Alford of Manchester passed this life on Tuesday, November 3,
2020 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital at the age of 82. No services are
scheduled.
A native of Manchester, he was the son of the late John Robert and Ludie
Baltimore Alford. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Manchester
and loved being outside. He kept busy landscaping and working in his yard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Ora Jean
Alford and brothers, Jimmy Joshua, John Wesley, Howell Clyde and Kenneth
Eugene Alford.
He is survived by son, John Alford of Manchester; daughters, Bonnie Alford
(Jerry Freeze) of Manchester and Linda Alford of Smithville; half-brother,
Terry Shelton (Dale) of Ludlow, MA and sister, Peggy Arnold (Richard) of
Manchester.

Elmer Gene Swann
Mr. Elmer Gene Swann, age 62, of Mobile, Alabama, formerly of Manchester, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in Mobile, Alabama. Mr. Swann was born in Manchester, TN, to his late father Connie Elmer Swann and mother Ellen Novella Jones Tuck. He worked in construction installing drywall and sheetrock until his retirement. Mr. Swann loved doing craftwork with matches, fishing when he could, music, driving his 1957 Chevrolet, and loved jewelry. He also loved his family and his grandkids very much. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Gail Swann; brother-in-law Robert Hayes Tuck and a step son, James Robin Fults. Mr. Swann is survived by his wife of 21 years, Freda Arlean Perry Swann; sons, Chris Tuck, Damon Turk, and Shane Swann; brothers, Donnie Tuck, Eric Swann, Michael Swann, and Jason Swann; sisters, Shirley Sellars, Darlene Tuck, Elaine Raby, and Crystal
Rinderknecht; and several grandchildren. Family will receive friends on

Mr. Donald Eugene Billings, age 90, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Billings was born October 10, 1930 to the late Warren E. Billings and Margaret E. Nyce. He was a Vice President of Consolidated Freightways Trucking Company.
