Mr. Thomas Wayne Dobbs age 71 of Manchester passed away, Monday, January 25, 2016. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 1st at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 5 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
A native of Sparta, Tennessee he was the son of the late Thomas Clinton Dobbs and Jessie Mae Tackett Dobbs. He served in the U.S. Army and owned his own paint and body shop. Mr. Dobbs enjoyed collecting antiques, repairing pedal cars, shooting pool, fishing and bowling.
He is survived by one daughter; Danielle Blanton and her fiance Steven Warren both of Manchester, one brother; Joe Dobbs, three sisters; Betty Sue Dobbs Haley, Wilma Jean Dobbs Foster and Karen Darlene Dobbs; four grandchildren, Blayne and Quenlin Blanton and Auston and Kayleigh Warren.
