Funeral services for Donald “Don” Ray Allen, age 42 of Manchester, will be conducted on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mr. Allen passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Don was born on December 30, 1973 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In previous years, he enjoyed going fishing. Don loved watching NASCAR and Michigan football.
Preceded in death by his grandmother, Vera Parker. Survived by his loving mother, Margaret Parker Allen; grandfather, William T. Parker; daughter, Chrissy Allen Beason and husband Stanley; son, Nicholas Allen grandchildren, Rayden and Phoenix Beason; uncle, Billy Parker; aunt, Shelliah Vance and husband Donald; cousin, Matthew Vance and wife Mary; special friend, Jody Wilson; several other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at Coffee County Funeral Chapel to assist the family financially to honor Don’s life.
