Robert E. “Bob” Brandon Jr., age 87 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on August 28, 2014 at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Bob was a retired Tool & Die Machinist with the Batesville Casket Company in Manchester and a member of the New Union Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Robert E. Brandon and Ora Roberta Rigney Brandon; sister, Janice Tucker and an infant brother.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Treva B. Heatherly Brandon of Manchester, TN; five children, Mitchell Brandon (Janet) of California, Sandy Loy (Dan) of Ohio, Greg Brandon (Julie) of South Carolina, Laverne Parker (Joel) of Manchester, TN and Janice Holt (Jeff) of Beech Grove, TN; one sister, Joyce Trail of Beech Grove, TN; two brothers, Charles Brandon and James Brandon of Manchester, TN; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with Brother Charles Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at the Shady Grove Cemetery.
