Onethia Renee Johnson age 30 entered into heavenly rest on July 1, 2012.
Ms. Johnson was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee on March 25, 1982 to Bobbie Louise Johnson and Howard Kim Stovall.
She was lovingly known to her friends and family as “Nitabug” or “Nitaboo”. She was a 2001 class graduate of Huntland High School and was a 2010 graduate of MTSU where she studied Pre-Vet and animal science. In her spare time she enjoyed playing basketball, softball and soccer. She was an avid animal lover and worked for The Animal Harbor. She was a member of Beans Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Huntland, Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Andrew Johnson Sr., paternal grandmother, Lorene Hill Stovall; maternal aunt, Debbie Johnson, and maternal uncle, Andrew Johnson Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Bobbie Johnson; father Kim Stovall; one daughter, Promise Tynethia Johnson; two brothers, Kim (Kelly) Johnson and Jason Winton; one sister, Christian Johnson; maternal grandmother, Jeanette Johnson; paternal grandfather , Howard Stovall; a special cousin/sister Kisa Johnson, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and friends.
Homegoing celebration will be conducted Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 1pm from the Friendship Tabernacle in Cowan.
Interment will follow in Paynes Chapel Cemetery in Huntland.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 11am until time of service.
