Funeral services for Mr. Donald Eugene Ferrell, age 63, of Estill Springs, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Fredonia Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, June 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Ferrell passed away Tuesday afternoon at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma.
Mr. Ferrell was born in Coffee County, TN, the son of the late Edgar Howard and Artie Cleo Barnes Ferrell.
He was employed as a truck driver for York Trucking in Shelbyville. He enjoyed the friendships he made on the CB radio and was known as “White Elephant”.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ferrell was also preceded in death by a sister, Birdie Dean Sissom.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Ferrell of Estill Springs; three sons, Donnie Eugene Ferrell of Tullahoma, Chuck (Anna) Godfrey of Manchester, and David Godfrey of Wartrace; two daughters, Donna Marie Cornelison of Tullahoma and Joanna Godfrey of Estill Springs; six grandchildren, Chase, Kyler, Alivia, Breanna, Sheila, and Dean Allen; one brother, Howard (Trish) Ferrell of Manchester; and one sister, Frances (Daniel) Simmons of Manchester; and a brother-in-law, Carsie Simmons of Cannon County.
