John Eckerson, age 61 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on June 9, 2016 at the St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. He was a Truck Driver with the Titan Transfer Company for over 32 years. John loved all of his family very much, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Victory in Jesus Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Arthur Bradley Eckerson and Marie Edythe Eschrich Eckers. John is survived by his loving wife, Janet Morene Holt Eckerson of Manchester, TN; children, Lorretta Eckerson of Bradenton, FL, Timothy Eckerson of Murfreesboro, TN, Lisa Capps of Murfreesboro, TN, Bridget R. Vascar (Terry) of Readyville, TN and Christopher L. Jacobs (Ginger) of Manchester, TN; sisters, Kathy Cusino of Smyryna, TN and Emma Carlson of Smithville, TN; brother, Ray A. Eckerson of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Ryan Eckerson, Nathan Eckerson, Camden Davis, Karlee Vassar, Lia Jacobs and Kylee Jacobs; special relatives, Mrs. Alice Holt, Benji Holt, Bob and Alice Kindzierski, Jodi Holt, Mona Eckerson, several nieces and nephews, Dicky Gannon; and a host of relatives and friends.
