Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Mary Jane Trail Davis, age 95 of the Pocahontas Community of Coffee County, will be conducted at 10:00am, Wednesday, May 30 at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Bush officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gnat Hill Cemetery.
Visitation with the Davis family will be from 4pm until 8pm, Tuesday at the Manchester Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis passed away Monday, May 28 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Davis was born in Coffee County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Herman and Golden Pearl Floyd Trail.
She was a homemaker and operated the Davis Grocery for 21 years with her late husband, Hobart Lee Davis. Mrs. Davis was the Director of the Pocahontas Senior Citizens Center for 25 years and was a member of the Pocahontas Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, and was always a servant to Christ in all she came in touch with.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was also preceded in death by her husband, Hobart Lee Davis, by 2 brothers, Russell Barton Trail and Kenneth Edward Trail, and by a sister, Edna Ann Davis.

Son- Jimmy Lee (Carolyn) Davis of the Rover Community of Bedford County
3 sisters- Audrey Ruth Sain of the Midway Community

4 brothers- Hershel W. Trail of the Midway Community
Howard E. Trail of the Gnat Hill Community
Fred N. Trail of the Gnat Hill Community
Virgil Ketrell Trail of the Gnat Hill Community
Grandchildren- Christy Davis, Craig Davis and Ricky Summers
Great Grandchildren- Taylor Summers, Gracie Jane Davis, Briar L. Summers and Carter L. Davis.
