Janet Louise Towry of Hillsboro, went to the arms of Jesus on Sunday, May 20th, 2012 at her residence at the age of 61.
Mrs. Towry was born in Louisville Kentucky to the late George and Dorothy Clark Nalley.
During her life, Mrs. Towry was a Special Education Teacher for the Franklin County School System, working at both Dechard Elementary School and Northlake Elementary School. She was a member of the Tennessee Education Association, The Charismatic Catholic Group and was a Volunteer with the Special Olympics.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Towry is preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Nalley and one sister Delores Rose.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Towry of Hillsboro; one brother, Michael Nalley of Tullahoma; four sisters, Betty Fluhr of Louisville, KY, Carol Simmons and her husband Billy of Lynchburg, Pat Crosslin of Tullahoma, and Debbie Garner of Manchester; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Towry will be held on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012 from 5:00-9:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 at 2:00pm at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Stephen A. Klasek officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
