Ms. Jessie L. Amos, age 95, of Tullahoma, passed away Wednesday night at her residence.
A native of Coffee County, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Almeade Blanton Throneberry.
She was a homemaker and was the oldest member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Tullahoma.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glen E. Amos, one son; Robert E. Amos, two sisters; Elizabeth T. Martin and Mary K. Woods, and four brothers; Albert, Elzie B., Frank, and Clifton Throneberry.
She is survived by her great grandson; Robert Wayne Amos, and many loving nieces and nephews, including Ms. Minnie Womack, whom worked tirelessly to care for Ms. Amos.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, from 12:00PM until 1:00PM at the Tullahoma Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home with Bro. Elbert Smith officiating.
Burial will be private.
