Mrs. Billie G. Edde, age 87 of Lynchburg, passed this life on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 19 at 2 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Lee officiating.
Burial will follow at Lynchburg Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, April 18 from 5 -7 PM.
A native of Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Dillard and Myrtle Wanslow Gray.
She was a member of Lynchburg United Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing and working in her rose garden. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed cross stitching. She also enjoyed working in her vegetable garden and canning her vegetables.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dan and Johnny Gray and three sisters, Trixie Parks, Yvonne Daniel and Lucille Gray.
Mrs. Edde is survived by her husband, Jack D. Edde of Lynchburg; one son, Charles D. Edde and his wife, Nanette of Hartsville, AL; two daughters, Sara E. Wilson and her husband, Van of Helena AL and Jackie E. Rucker and her husband, Bob of Brentwood and seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Lynchburg United Methodist Church.
