4/11/12 — Beulah Jean Hill Crownover

Beulah Jean Hill Crownover, age 81 of Decherd, passed away Monday April 9, 2012 at Life Care Center of Tullahoma. 

A native of Franklin County, she was a very talented artist and a noted author.  She wrote and published three books, Beuler, Hill Town and Coker Street, and Remembering Mamma, which were about her life in Franklin County. 

She was also a faithful member of the Elk River Baptist Church for nearly 50 years. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Harold B. Crownover, Sr., her mother, Bertha Mooney Hill and her father, James B. Hill. 

She is survived by her daughter, Gail (Leslie) Moore of Rock Island; son, Benny Crownover of Winchester, grandchildren, Mark Moore, Paul Moore, Jonathan Moore, Abigail Wood, Greg Crownover, and Shelley Housley; 9 great-grandchildren;  sisters, Louise Hooper of Akron, OH. and Nell Henley of Estill Springs; brothers, John W. (Ina) Hill of River Falls, WI, and Donald (Elaine) Hill of Birmingham, AL; a special niece and caregiver, Brenda Farris; numerous other nieces and nephews. 

The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Wednesday April 11, 2012 with Don Gregory, Carl Roberts and Charlie Nunley officiating.

Interment will follow at Watson-North Memorial Park. 

Pallbearers will be Paul Moore, Jonathan Moore, Greg Crownover, Tyler Crownover, Eric Wood and Lee Housley. 

Visitation will be Tuesday April 10, 2012 from 5-8 p.m.  

 Watson-North Funeral Home, Cremation Center & Memorial Park  in charge of arrangements.
