Funeral services for Mr. Charles Franklin Claybourn, age 83, of
Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at
Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marvin Davenport officiating.
Burial will follow in Summitville Cemetery. Visitation with the family
will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral
home. Mr. Claybourn passed away Monday evening at his residence.
Charles was born in Coffee County, TN, the son of the late Charles Wilson
and Nora Ann Hennessee Claybourn. He was self-employed as an electrician
and carpenter in the home building industry. He was a member of Hickory
Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sports activities.
Mr. Claybourn is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Virginia
Clayton Claybourn of Manchester; one daughter, Kimberly Denise Robinson
of Summitville; one brother, Phillip (Linda Faye) Claybourn of Hickory
Grove; one sister, Carolyn (Melvin) Keith of Summitville; one grandchild,
Nikki Robinson; and one great grandchild, Brailyn Robinson.
