Mr. Jimmy Wayne Holt of Manchester passed away at Unity Medical Center in Manchester on Feb. 27, 2016 at the age of 56. Mr. Holt was born in Jefferson Parrish, LA to the late Hollis and Camille Reed Holt on Aug. 19, 1959.
An Air Force veteran, at one time Mr. Holt was employed at Batesville Casket Company in Manchester. He loved all things historical, enjoying reading and watching past events of the world, especially WWII. He also loved waterfalls, Thomas Kincaid and the Smoky Mountains.
He is survived by his wife Betty Kay Holt of Manchester and daughters Nicole (Marcus) Rayas of Manchester; Sonya (Randle) Wiser of Shelbyville; Jessica (Jose) Hernandez of McMinnville and Cassie (Guero) Jarquin-perze of Tullahoma.
Also surviving are brothers Terry (Kim) Holt and Douglas Holt both of Manchester.
Visitation with family members will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
