Ruth Mary Johnson, age 80 of Hillboro, Tennessee, passed away on February
10, 2016. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, the late
Rolan John Nichols and Mary Pearl Michael Nichols; sister, Martha Lee;
son, Alan Max Johnson; and brothers, Dean Nichols, Donald Nichols and
Danny Nichols. She was a farmer’s wife, member of the Birdlake Bible
Church in Osseo, Michigan and attended the Bible Methodist Church in
Manchester,Tennessee. She worked for the Dollar General Store for over 20
years where she worked as an Assistant Manager while living in Alabama
and worked as a Clerk in Tennessee. She was a hardworking,devoted mother,
Christian, and faithful Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years. She had
a generous and caring heart. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband,
Martin T. Johnson of Hillsboro, Tenn. children, Cindy S. Johnson of
Hillsboro, Tenn. and Stanley M. Johnson of Catarina, Texas; brother, Max
E. Nichols of Osseo, Michigan; three grandchildren, Matthew Lelana
Robortson of Autaugaville,Alabama, Stanley Martin Odam, Jr. of Cocoa,
Florida and Patrick Alan Odom of Cocoa, Florida; and a host of friends.
