Rosa Nelle Russell, age 91 of Huntland, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Southern TN Medical Center in Winchester. She was born July 7, 1921 in Huntland, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Floyd Elliott and Leona (Green) Cochran. Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Russell and son, Tommy Russell. Surviving are son, Larry Ray (Becky) Russell of Huntland, TN; grandchildren, Tommy (Vickie) Russell, II, Richard (Stacy) Russell and Shannon (Keith) Arnold, niece, Diane Newton, nephew, Douglas Cochran, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with the Rev. Mike Robertson officiating. Interment will be in Russell Cemetery, Huntland, TN. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 First Ave. NW, Winchester. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
