J.C. Cornelison, age 76 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on January 20, 2015 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
J.C. was a retired Carpenter in the Construction Business and a United States Army Veteran. He was extremely proud of his honored service to our nation serving during the early 1960’s.
Although he lost his battle with sickness, he won the Victory as he stepped out of this world into a sickness free world on January 20, 2015. First and foremost, J.C. loved telling people about his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, especially the nurses at Centennial. J.C. loved being with his family and friends and enjoyed yard sales and doing jigsaw puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late James Clark Cornelison, Sr. and Nellie Sue Walden Cornelison; sisters, Dean Prince, Minnie Jewel Spry and Jannie Honea; and brothers, Bill Cornelison and Lester Cornelison.
J.C. is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Patricia K. Huddleston Cornelison of Manchester; children, Juston Stephens, Teresa Crutcher (Dairl) of Lewisburg, TN, Donnie Stephens (Debbie) of Manchester, Brian E. Brown (Natalie) of Hillsboro, Patty Duke of Manchester, Jeff Brown (Mia) of Lorton, VA, Mona Gray of Manchester and Larry Brown (Tracie) of Manchester; several grandchildren, one of whom, James (J.P.) Presley Brown, thought his “papa” was an overgrown playmate; several great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; three sisters-in-law, Barbara Casteel and Shirley Mullins both of Florence, AL and Juanita Huddleston of O’Fallen, MO; and a host of other relatives and friends.
