Graveside services for Mrs. Bobbie J. Dillehay, of Tullahoma, TN, will be conducted at 1:30 PM on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Concord Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 12 noon until 1:00 PM on Friday at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Dillehay passed away Monday evening at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN.
Bobbie was born in Houlka, MS, the daughter of the late Robert Jackson and Edith O. Gregory Jones. She was a retired switchboard operator for Southern Bell and was a member of Rutledge Falls Baptist Church. She loved to travel and spend time with her grandchildren. She also worked for several local doctors in Manchester, was a receptionist at the old Coffee County Hospital, and worked for 20 years as a door greeter at the Tullahoma Walmart. She was dearly loved by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Bobbie was also preceded in death by three brothers, Thad, Jerry, and Ivy Jones; three sisters, Ruth Harris, Estelle Lamar, and Christine Steele, as well as her loving husband, Glenn W. Dillehay.
She is survived by two sons, Glenn (Rebecca) Dillehay and Don Dillehay, both of Manchester; two daughters, Edith (Larry) Johnson of Tullahoma and Pamela White of Pelham; six grandchildren, April (Dallas) Hoard, Woody (Ginger) Dillehay, Missy (Devin) DeFord, Freddie (Fran) Armstrong, Jr., Chris (Kim) Armstrong, and Danny Davis, Jr.; and several great grandchildren.
