Alice Kight of Lynchburg passed away Tuesday December 23, 2014 at the age of 93.
A native of Franklin County she was a daughter of the late Charles Timothy Riddle and Rosie Lee Sons Riddle.
She retired from Craig and Craftmore Glove Factory where she worked as an inspector. She was a founding member of Brownington Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, loved to go to Wal-Mart and shop, watching Gaither Homecoming’s on TV and loved gospel music.
She is survived by her son-in-law Gilbert Warren of Lynchburg, granddaughters; Donna baker of Tullahoma and Patricia Warren of Olive Branch, MS, great-grandchildren; Lori Frazier and her husband Dewayne of Lynchburg, Joseph Vaughan and his wife Cathleen of Lynchburg and Mike Vaughan and his wife Adela of Lynchburg11 great-great grandchildren and 2 grea-great-great grandchildren. Close friend Diane Dempsey of Olive Branch, MS. Special nieces Jean Evans of Lynchburg and Pauline Bates and her husband Everett of Estill Springs, sister Mattie Jo Holt of White Bluff, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Aaron Kight, daughter, Frieda Joyce Warren, brothers; Riley, Robert and Charles Riddle, sisters; Rosie May Lewis, Ozel Reavis, Grace Sawyer and Wilsie Stacy.
The family will receive friends Friday December 26, 2014 beginning at 11:00 until service time beginning at 2 PM.
Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Cemetery.
