Billy Simmons age 86 of Moore County passed away Thursday November 20, 2014 at his residence.
A native of Moore County he was the son of the late Finis Roy Simmons and Nora Smith Simmons.
He was a Guitarist and Music Teacher. Mr. Simmons was a US Army Veteran, loved music, playing the guitar and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes Carol Simmons of Moore County, son Edward Simmons and his wife Terri of Lynchburg, granddaughter; Erin Simmons and a grandson, Ethan Simmons. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Burt Douglas Simmons and sisters, Blanche Simmons and Maude Morris.
The family will receive friends Saturday November 22, 2014 beginning at 12 noon until service time at 2 PM with Bro. Cameron Ray officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tullahoma.
