Ruby Alice Cowser, age 100 of Winchester, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Southern TN Medical Center in Winchester.
She was born April 4, 1912 in Winchester; the daughter of the late Bose and Louella (Cole) Boswell. Mrs. Cowser was preceded in death by her husband, A.B. Cowser, daughter, Treva Ann Hill, brothers, W.B. and Paul Boswell and sisters, Virginia Boswell and Hazel Moorehead.
Surviving are son-in-law, Wayne Hill of Belvidere, TN, grandsons, Mark (Merry) Hill of San Antonio, TX, Dwight (Brenda) Hill of Winchester, TN and Hal (Joy) Hill of Belvidere, TN,; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Hill, Michael Hill, Josh Hill, Zac Hill, Bethany Hill and Haley Hill.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with the Rev. Buddy Alverson and Rev. Joseph Butler officiating.
Interment will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens, Winchester, TN.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
