Peggy Sue Watkins, age 55, of Shelbyville, TN passed away on Sunday,
October 16, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 19 at 2 PM at the
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow at Willow Mount
Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from
11 AM until the funeral time.
A native of Haleyville, AL, she was the daughter of Leon Richardson of
Normandy and the late Betty Merritt Richardson. She attended the Christian
Lighthouse Full Gospel Church of Tullahoma and enjoyed watching wrestling
matches, coloring and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death one daughter, Mona
Lisa Driver; one brother, Bob Brandon; one sister, Janie Prince and one
grandson, Benjamin Kern.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Kevin Watkins of
Shelbyville; two sons, Christopher Driver of Shelbyville and Jerome Douglas
of Alabama; three daughters, Crystal and Brandy Douglas, both of AL and
Tiffany Phelps of Tullahoma; four brothers, Christopher Richardson of
Tullahoma, Dale Brandon and his wife, Lisa of Tullahoma, Jimmy Brandon and
his wife, Elaine of Fayetteville and Timmy Brandon of Tullahoma; two
sisters, Christy Carter of Normandy and Beverley Baker of Tullahoma and two
grandchildren, Lisa Phelps and Scarlett Kern.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be
made in her name to Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
