J. Douglas “Doug” Davis, age 43 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on October 9, 2012 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.
He was a Technician with Cubic Precision.
Doug enjoyed deer hunting and practicing ball with his children, Cameron, Cade and Chase. He coached baseball, football and softball for many years. He loved the opportunity to not only coach his own children, but to touch and enrich the lives of all of the other children.
Doug was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Manchester.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James “Corky” Davis and Goldie Inez Davis and maternal grandmother, Marjorie Sain Brinkley.
Doug is survived by his wife, Pam Austin Davis of Manchester; children, Cameron Nicole Davis (age 15), James “Cade” Davis (age 11) and Douglas “Chase” Davis (age 11) all of Manchester; parents, James “Edward” Davis and Carol S. Davis of Manchester; and a host of other relatives and friends.
VISITATION will be on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The FUNERAL SERVICE will be conducted on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Barron officiating.
BURIAL will follow at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
