ROY “DON” LAWS
(May 23, 1935 – March 15, 2016)
Roy Donald “Don” Laws, age 80 of Hillsboro, Tennessee, passed away on March
15, 2016 at the Horizon Health & Rehabilitation Center in Manchester. Born
in Newport, Tennessee, Mr. Laws was a retired Chemical Security Guard; a
United States Army Veteran; a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and
a Sublime Degree of Master Mason. He was preceded in death by his son,
Donald “Skeet” Laws and parents, Roy Allen Laws and Viola Hall Laws. Don is
survived by his loving wife, Minnie V. Dukes Laws of Hillsboro; step-mother,
Elizabeth Laws of Newport Tennessee; step-son, Steve Cody; sisters, Elaine
Trent and Gayla Wines; brothers, Bobby Laws and Tommy Laws; several
grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives
and friends.
