Denny Marshall Glasner, age 66 of Decherd, passed away Thursday February 11, 2016 at his home while surrounded by his loving family. A native of Franklin County, he had made his home in Winchester all his life. He was a Vietnam Era veteran of the U. S. Army. Following his military service he begun his career as a truck driver for The Rogers Group and later PCA. He loved squirrel and rabbit hunting and took great pride in raising Beagle hounds. Mr. Glasner is preceded in death by his father, Lames Walter Glasner; brothers, Eddie James Glasner and Robby Ray Glasner. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pearline Swoape Glasner of Decherd; daughters, Tina (Denny) Luttrell & Valorie Glasner, both of Decherd and Crystal (Benji) Gold of Tullahoma; mother, Ruby Gipson Glasner of Decherd; grandchildren, Ashely & Tammi Glasner, Kimberly Beckett, Duane Dodson, Angel & Addison Gold; nephews, Michael, Rodney and Jason Glasner. Visitation with the family will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Watson-North Funeral Home. Private burial services will be held at a later time.
