Two More Arrested For Church Burglaries

Two Tullahoma residents are being held under a bond of $122,000 each for burglarizing two churches last month. Aaron Conley, 20, and Ethan James Payne, 20, both of Silver Street in Tullahoma have been charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of vandalism and two counts of theft of property in connection with the burglaries of People’s Church on Bel Aire Drive and Spring Creek Baptist Church on Old Estill Springs Road on June 20.
“We received an anonymous tip of where some of the items taken in the burglaries could be found,” Lt. Jason Ferrell explained. “We then went to areas around Normandy Lake and followed up on the information.” The investigator also received information that one of the individuals was in possession of some of the stolen property. The investigators went to one of the residence and recovered a laptop and then followed up on other information received in the thefts. The investigators went to the Fire Lake area and with the assistance of Coffee County Deputy Dwayne Mullins recovered some of the items. The officers also recovered items in the Cascade Hollow Road area. According to investigators, they are continuing to investigate other church burglaries in the Tullahoma area.
Michael Cyree is currently being held in the Coffee County Jail on the burglary of Cedar Lane Church of Christ.
