Two Die In Saturday Crash

Two people were killed and 2 injured in a three vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on Highway 53 in Manchester. According to a report by Trooper Gavin Sullivan, a 1996 Ford van operated by 59 year old Barbara Davis of Jim Cummins Hwy Bradyville was traveling north on Hwy 53 when a 1999 Ford Escort operated by 23 year old Dustin Kindred of Crestwood Drive, Tullahoma struck the van in the rear. The van then spun around and crossed into the southbound lane and was struck by a 1989 Nissan Sentra operated by 56 year old Mallory Roberts of Hayfield Square Manchester. Roberts vehicle then rolled over and Davis’ vehicle landed on the passenger’s side. Roberts and 61 year old Larry Davis of Bradyville who was a passenger in the van were pronounced DOA at a Manchester hospital. The other two drivers; Barbara Davis was flown by Lifeflight to Vanderbilt and Dustin Kindred was transported to Manchester Medical. Both are receiving treatment for their injuries.
