Tullahoma Firefighter Receives Promotion

Tullahoma Firefighter Lt. Jason Caldwell was promoted this week to the rank of captain. Caldwell has been with the department for 20 years and will assume his additional duties starting today. Tullahoma Mayor Lane Curlee told a gathering of firefighters and others at a gathering at Tullahoma City Hall that he wanted to thank Caldwell and the other firefighters for their service to the city. Fire Chief Richard Shasteen stated that the captain position is a very important post, as they are in command at various fire scenes. Caldwell’s girlfriend and mother pinned his captain’s rankings on his collar.
