National Motto might be displayed in Tennessee Schools

A Tennessee bill is aiming to get the nation’s motto prominently displayed in schools.
The bill reads as follows; “As introduced, enacts the ‘National Motto in the Classroom Act,’ which requires each local education agency to display the national motto, ‘In God We Trust,’ in a prominent location in each school.” – HB2368
It’s sponsored by Rep. Susan Lynn, R-Mt. Juliet, and has passed on first consideration.
