More Work To Be Done On Hwy 41A between Tullahoma And Shelbyville

According to a report from the Tennessee Department of Transportation, more roadwork is scheduled for Highway 41A between Tullahoma and Shelbyville.  According to TDOT, work on 1.9 miles of construction between Thompson Creek Road to west of Rippy Ridge Road, which is the second part of the current phase to turn the highway into a four-lane road, will begin in fiscal 2014.  This is the second phase that was split in two segments. Crews are currently widening the highway from Magnolia Lane to Rippy Ridge into five lanes.
